Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2077: Land of fire

Chapter 2077: Land of fire
Once the icicle was activated, the same thing as before happened where there were lines that appeared in the ground.
As soon as they appeared, they quickly ran off in different directions.
It was clear that they were running off to connect to the other joints of this array.
In no time at all, there was a large array that appeared on the ground with several icicles forming the different points of this array.
From above, it was quite easy to see all of this. Though by flying up above, it really was cold.
Down below, there were at least things that could block the freezing wind that blew through this place. But by flying high up in the sky like this, it really allowed us to experience this freezing wind.
Once the array was formed, we flew down to the spot where the entrance would appear.
We had actually started heading down even before the array finished forming since I already knew where this entrance would be. After all, the array that had been formed was the same array as the one we encountered before.
These arrays were arrays that had been formed by the gods, but it wasn’t as if the gods needed to use different arrays for different places. If an array worked in one place, then it would certainly work in a different place.
Which was why it was the exact same array.
When we landed, the entrance was there waiting for us and it was the same as before. It was a set of stairs that seemed to be leading down into the ground.
However, there was a different sensation that came out when we approached those stairs.
It seemed to be some kind of heat that was coming up from these stairs.
Whatever was down there seemed to be filled with heat, unlike this frozen wasteland that we found ourselves in.
I couldn’t help thinking that it was similar to how there was a contrast between where the rock elementals lived and what was above that place.
Still, I didn’t think too much about this since I had no idea what was even down there.
Though I did have an idea of what kind of elementals would be in a place that was filled with this kind of heat.
With the entrance open, there was no time to waste since there was no doubt opening this entrance would be like opening a box of bait. After all, the energy from the elementals would be released because this entrance was open.
The more energy that was released, the more that it would attract the corruption energy.
Which was why it was best for us to solve whatever we were planning to do here as soon as possible.
“It’s getting hotter…” That was what the ones behind me said as we headed down the stairs and it was the truth.
The further down we went, the stronger the heat became.
It reached a point where I had no choice but to release a barrier around us that cancelled out a bit of the heat. But the overall heat was still strong enough that the barrier wasn’t able to cancel it out completely.
It seemed that this heat really was intense with how it kept growing as we went down.
When we reached the bottom of the stairs, we saw the source of the heat.
I couldn’t help feeling that this place was a bit familiar.
It was actually just like the dungeon that I found Ifrit in.
This was a place that seemed to be filled with lava.
It was a land that was completely filled with flames.
Since it was a land that was completely filled with flames, it only made sense that there was this much heat. The problem was that I couldn’t block all of this heat for everyone that came down with me.
I might be able to block it for now, but it would take a lot of energy to keep blocking all of this heat.
It was one thing if I was by myself since I had Ifrit’s power, but I couldn’t keep everyone safe for long.
Which was why I said, “Everyone, you need to head back.”
Klein and the royal guards didn’t seem keen on this since they were here to protect me as part of their jobs. The others were here because they wanted to have a look at the elementals that were causing all of this.
However, I said, “If you’re here with me, I won’t be able to stay here for long protecting all of you. I need you all to leave so I can focus on what I need to do here.”
There were some faces that seemed like they wanted to argue against this, but even the magicians from the Sorcery Empire knew that they couldn’t actually remain here for long.
They just simply weren’t strong enough to shield themselves against the heat that was here.
If it wasn’t for me, then they would have been forced back already.
In the end, they had no choice but to leave since they knew that they were holding me back. I gave them a barrier that would weaken over time to protect them on their way back.
Once they were gone, I looked around as I tried to figure out what I would do next.
The first thing that I had to do was draw out the elementals that lived in this place, but how I was supposed to do that was still something I had to figure out.
After thinking for a bit, I raised the hand with the Mark of God on it.
With a single thought, the Mark of God lit up and released divine energy in this surrounding area.
Other than this, I took out a rock that I held up as well as if I was showing this thing off.
This was something that the elder of the rock elementals gave me and they had said that it would be helpful on my journey to find the other elementals.
