In the end, I decided to go through with it.

It was as if there was something that was guiding me into doing this which was why I did it in the end.

But the moment that I pulled it out, I could sense a trace of danger coming from behind me.

I didn’t even have to look behind me to tell who was releasing this hostility towards me.

After all, what I had done was equal to betraying them.

The only reason that they didn’t attack me right away and why I had a chance to explain was because of my status. Otherwise they definitely would have attacked first and asked questions second.

Turning around to look at the two ancestors, I said, “This is the only way to make up for the deficit.”

“Deficit?” The two of them asked in confused voices when they heard this.

With a simple nod, I said, “That’s right. It’s the main reason why there’s that seal that is created above this place.”

I could see from the expressions on their faces that what I was saying to them wasn’t actually getting through.

I wasn’t surprised that they didn’t understand this since it wasn’t as if they knew anything about the creation divine energy.

So instead of explaining, I simply said, “Can you two hold the ceremony on your own?”

The two ancestors seemed even more confused when they heard this, but they also nodded to show that this was possible.

However, one of the ancestors couldn’t help asking, “If we do this, doesn’t this make things worse for you above ground?”

“If my guesses are correct, this should prevent that.”

It was only natural that the two ancestors would reveal confused looks when I said this, but I just insisted on them holding the ceremony.

That was why the two of them went to the openings in the crystal chamber while I moved to the safe room.

Once we were all in position, I raised the thing in my hand and gave them a nod.

Seeing this, the two ancestors started holding the same ceremony that the other flame elementals had held previously.

It didn’t take long for magma to start coming out of the red gem in the center of the crystal chamber.

In fact, it seemed like there was even more magma that was coming out when the two ancestors were the ones holding the ceremony.

The two of them seemed more familiar with this ceremony and could control the red gem better than the other flame elementals. Only that was expected since these were the ancestors of those flame elementals.

They would have more experience than those normal flame elementals.

After they finished with the ceremony, the two ancestors came forward to clear out the remaining magma in the crystal chamber.

Only when they came back, they found that there was something different here.

The moment that they entered the crystal chamber, their eyes had turned to the red gem in the center with looks of shock in them.

I was the same, but there wasn’t any shock in my eyes.

I had already expected this to happen since this was what I had predicted.

But the fact that it worked like this…meant that new possibilities opened up.

“How did you do this?” The two ancestors asked me when they finally came back to their senses.

What they were referring to was the fact that the red gem hadn’t shrunk after being used to create that magma.

“Like I said, you just have to find something to make up for the deficit.”

This time, the two ancestors seemed to understand what I was implying. After all, it was hard to mistake this when they saw the example placed in front of them.

Only it didn’t seem like they could believe what they had seen.

What I had done was taken out a sample of corruption energy which was why they couldn’t believe it.

However, I knew that the corruption energy was what came when something was broken down. What the corruption energy was really known as was destruction energy, which meant that it could break down the things that it came in contact with.

After breaking it down, it wasn’t as if the matter just disappeared.

It was stored inside of the corruption energy as a form of matter.

When divine energy came in contact with the corruption energy, it purified the corruption energy and brought that matter back into existence.

When someone with creation divine energy used that power, it would create things out of thin air. But that was only done because of their ability to control the creation divine energy.

If they used a relic like this red gem, it would take other things like the ancestors said.

That was why the corruption energy had to be used to fill up the deficit.

But since that was the case, that meant that I would be able to do the same.

If this was the case, then it meant that we might even be able to mass produce on a larger scale. At the same time, it might be a way to suppress the corruption energy that came from Dorothy.

At this thought, I really wanted to head back to the Kite Kingdom as soon as possible to test this new power.

But I knew that I couldn’t do that since the flame elementals were relying on me.

In fact, I could see the way that the two ancestors were looking at me now that I had achieved something like this. It was as if they were looking at a living god…

“Forget about this. We aren’t going to tell anyone about this.”

The way that the two ancestors nodded in agreement made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but at least I knew that they would keep this promise with the way that they looked at me.

I took one last look at the red gem before walking out of this place.
