It took another week before the red gem was able to return to its normal state.

During this time, I could see the way that the flame elementals looked at me.

It was clear that the ancestors hadn’t kept their promise and had told the other flame elementals about what had happened. But it wasn’t as if there was anything that I could do about this.

At least they didn’t do anything while I was still there.

As for what they would do afterwards…I could already sense a few things.

It was weak, but I could feel the connection between me and them.

It was the same as the connection that I felt from the statue that the Holy Empire created.

There was a part of me that was surprised that the flame elementals were actually giving me faith like this. But then again, it wasn’t as if they weren’t beings that were capable of thought and generating faith.

What it really made me question was what were the criteria that were needed to be considered a follower of a god.

When we were leaving, there were many flame elementals that looked at me as if they didn’t want me to leave. Even though I had already solved their issue with the red gem, it seemed like they wanted me to stay for a different reason.

Only none of them said anything since the ancestors stopped them.

With the corruption energy samples that I brought out, we had been able to stabilize their home to the point where the ancestors no longer needed to spread out their essence to maintain it.

That was why the ancestors had come to send us off.

Though the way that the ancestors looked at me was just like how the other flame elementals looked at me.

It really seemed like they wanted something else from me…

Still, we were able to leave before anything else happened and soon the array was sealed off once more.

Only we didn’t head in the direction that everyone thought we would.

I had already pointed out all the places that the elementals should have been, so we had already planned out the entire route for me to take.

“Where are you going?” Klein asked when he noticed that we were heading in a different direction.

“I have to go back to the Kite Kingdom first. There’s something that I’ve discovered that I need to handle first before going to the next spot.”

Klein knitted his brows when he heard this, but it wasn’t that he didn’t agree with what I was doing.

It was more that he was worried about how the others would take it.

It wasn’t just Klein and the royal guards that were with me, there were people that had been sent from the other countries. This was a matter that the racial alliance was taking care of together.

As such, the others sent people to help.

Though the better way to describe this was that they had sent people to watch over me.

The racial alliance already knew about my tendency to disappear all of a sudden, so they had sent their people to watch over me to make sure that I didn’t do anything crazy.

As Klein had suspected, the people from the other countries started questioning me when they noticed that we were heading in a different direction as well.

However, I had already thought of something to convince them to go along with this.

“I have discovered that will help me mass produce even more weapons.”

As soon as they heard this, all complaints stopped.

That just went to show how important the divine energy weapons that I created were to them.

It wasn’t strange that they acted this way since the divine energy weapons were one of the only ways to deal with the forces of Destruction. Everyone had already been hoping that the production rate could be increased, but there was nothing that they could do since it was a very special production method.

But if I said that I had discovered a way to increase production, they would do what they could to support me.

That was just how important the divine energy weapons were to them.

It didn’t take us long to arrive back in the Kite Kingdom since everyone fully supported me when I told them the reason why we were rushing back.

When we arrived, everyone back in the Kite Kingdom was confused to see us arriving back so soon.

Only I just ignored them all as I went to a certain special place.

The one that was there was surprised to see me, but that didn’t mean that she wasn’t happy to see me.

However, there was something that I had to say to her.

“I need you to work with me to suppress your condition.”

Dorothy was completely caught off guard when she heard this, but she slowly nodded in agreement even though she had no idea what I was talking about. That was the trust that she had in me.

So I brought Dorothy to the workshop that Queenie was in.

When Queenie saw me, her face turned pale and she acted as if she was busy.

Only I didn’t bother with her since there was something else that I wanted to do with Dorothy.

I didn’t have Dorothy do anything at first as I focused on one of the molds that was there.

There had been different molds created since I had wanted to test things, which was why I had this spherical mold. With this mold in hand, I just started injecting my divine energy into it until it took the shape of this sphere.

Then I took this sphere out of the mold and handed it to Dorothy who just looked back at me with a confused look.

“Use that and create the same weapons. However, make sure to use your corruption energy as well when you’re creating the weapons.”

This just caused her to reveal an even more confused look on her face.
