When they were done making that blade, they came over to show the finished product to me.

But instead of looking at this finished product, I took the orb out of Dorothy’s hand to look at.

She was surprised when she saw me reaching for the orb, but she handed it over without a single complaint.

I didn’t actually have to look at it to tell that it was already weaker, so the reason that I had taken it was because I wanted to put more divine energy into it to refill what had been lost when she created this blade.

Once it was done, I handed the orb back to her and said, “You’re not using your power.”

A confused look appeared on Dorothy’s face when I said this.

It was clear that she didn’t understand what I meant when I said this, so I just continued by saying, “That power that you’re normally suppressing, release it while you use the power of the orb.”

There was a hesitant look that appeared on Dorothy’s face when she heard this.

That wasn’t strange since this was the power that she had unconsciously become afraid of with how it had affected her. It wasn’t something that was easy for her to accept, even though we had been slowly trying to train her to use it just so she could suppress it.

It wasn’t something that could be forced, so I just waited for her to accept it and release the power on her own.

After a long moment of silence, Dorothy squeezed the orb once more.

When she did, there was the fluctuation of the corruption energy that came out as well.

As one would expect, there was the clash between the corruption energy and the divine energy that appeared.

When the two forms of energy clashed, it seemed that they cancelled each other out before disappearing.

Dorothy knew that this wasn’t what I wanted from her, so she stopped using the corruption energy.

Though when she did, I suddenly said, “Why are you stopping? Keep going.”

Dorothy was caught off guard hearing me say this, but she didn’t actually follow what I said this time. After all, she was completely confused why I was saying this when I could tell what was happening as well.

It was clear that the divine energy was being drained from the orb because of the clash with the corruption energy.

It didn’t seem to make any sense that I would tell her to continue if all that this would do is drain the divine energy from the orb.

However, I just calmly said, “It’s fine if you don’t succeed at first. You learn from your failures, so you’ll be able to slowly control it.”

A very strange look appeared on her face along with a trace of hesitation.

But I just calmly looked at her and showed her support through my eyes.

As long as she kept practicing, she would eventually learn how to control this corruption energy with the divine energy.

It wasn’t as if anyone was born knowing how to do anything in this world, so it was something that she had to slowly learn.

Not to mention that it wasn’t a problem for me to inject more divine energy into the orb whenever it was running low. So it definitely wasn’t a problem for her to waste the energy in the orb now.

After a long moment of silence, Dorothy gripped the orb once more and focused on sending corruption energy into it.

With the support that she received, it seemed that part of the hesitation that had been in her eyes disappeared.

All that was left was to prove that this faith wasn’t misplaced.

As she used her corruption energy, she could tell that it just wasn’t going the way that she wanted it to go.

No matter how she controlled it, it clashed with the divine energy that was coming from the orb. So when the two sides came in contact, there was this force that cancelled each other out.

When this happened, there was energy that was drained from the orb.

It didn’t seem like Dorothy was getting the hang of it with how the divine energy kept being drained from the orb. It really seemed like it was only a matter of time before the orb completely ran out of energy.

Seeing this, I couldn’t help turning to look at Queenie to see if she would offer any advice.

But I just saw Queenie standing there silently on the side watching Dorothy as she did this.

With the way that she watched over her, it wasn’t as if she had lost interest.

It was just that there wasn’t much that she could do since this wasn’t something that was in her domain.

It was one thing for her to teach Dorothy how to control the divine energy orb, but it was a completely different matter to have her teach her how to control her corruption energy.

This wasn’t something that a god’s messenger would have any experience with.

So in the end, we just watched as Dorothy tried to control that divine energy orb in the way that I wanted her to control it.

“Let me refill it.” I said as I came forward with one hand raised, but it didn’t seem like Dorothy heard me as she was focused on what she was doing.

Which was why I reached out to take the orb from her and pull her out of her daze.

But before I could reach it, I found that there was a change in the fluctuations coming from the orb. It seemed like there was a side that was coming out on top with how the property of those fluctuations changed.

It didn’t take long for the divine energy to come out on top.

It wasn’t that she stopped using the corruption energy.

It was that she had found the way to incorporate it into the creation divine energy.
