A faint smile appeared on my face when I saw this before it quickly disappeared.

After all, she was still far from being perfect with this.

Even though the creation divine energy side had won, that didn’t mean that she had perfected this technique yet.

From the sensation that came from the orb as she used it, it was clear that this orb wasn’t operating at full power.

It wasn’t just the fact that the divine energy of the orb wasn’t at full power, it was that Dorothy was holding herself back. It was only when she held back her corruption energy that she was able to use the divine energy like this.

She had figured out the trick, but it wasn’t as if she had full control of this yet.

It was something that she had to experiment with so that she would be able to bring out the full power of this orb.

I made sure to raise my voice this time so that Dorothy would hear me.

She didn’t seem to react at first, but eventually she turned to look at me.

When she did, there was this look in her eyes that seemed to be asking me something.

I didn’t give her the answer that she wanted as I reached out to take the orb from her.

Only after I had taken the orb did I give a nod to confirm what she was asking with that look in her eyes.

When Dorothy saw this confirmation, there was a more extreme look of surprise on her face before she looked like she wanted to ask something else.

But before she could, I just said, “I told you that we would suppress it together. This is the method that I’ve found and it only seems to work with creation attributed divine energy. So work hard to master this.”

Dorothy still had that same surprised look on her face, but she then quickly gave a firm nod.

After all, this was the first time that she had found something that could help her condition like this.

It wasn’t as if we couldn’t use divine energy to suppress the corruption energy inside of her, it was just that it didn’t really help her. At the same time, it was also something that just built up the corruption energy inside of her which just made things worse.

The biggest problem was that it was painful for her, even if she didn’t show it.

This child was one that had grown up hiding many things because of the environment that she grew up in.

This was something that Rose had discussed with me before about Dorothy. She really wanted to find a way to allow Dorothy to trust us, to believe that we wouldn’t do anything to harm her and that it was alright to trust us.

Still, it wasn’t as if those walls would break that easily.

But now, I found a way to help her even if she didn’t tell us it hurt directly.

After I charged up the orb, I handed it back to Dorothy and she fully focused on it once more.

I just watched as she started controlling the orb to release the divine energy.

What I was looking for was how she controlled the release of that divine energy from the orb. Or it was better to say that I was paying attention to the amount of divine energy that was inside of the orb.

The one thing that the corruption energy was used for was to take the place of the price that was paid when someone else used the divine energy. It was just how creation divine energy worked, it wasn’t the kind of thing that could be used by others.

From beginning to end, the orb didn’t lose any divine energy at all.

I thought that it would take some time before Dorothy got the hang of it, but she understood how to use it from the second time she used it. She was able to use the corruption energy to make up the difference without a single thing missing.

With how smoothly she controlled it, it was as if she was in full control of both the divine energy and the corruption energy.

“She really is talented.” I couldn’t help muttering to myself when I saw her like this.

Queenie had been paying attention at first, but it seemed like she got bored halfway through. After all, Dorothy was just doing the same thing over and over again while increasing the amount of corruption energy that she used.

Since she had gotten the principle down, it was just practicing until she could control it more smoothly.

This wasn’t something that Queenie was interested in.

She had only been interested since it was something new, but now that it had lost its novelty…

I kept watching as Dorothy practiced, but eventually I had to say something, “Alright, it’s time to stop.”

Dorothy had been completely focused on the orb, so it took me two times to get her attention. Even then, it didn’t seem like she wanted to stop practicing with the orb with how focused she was.

But I had to say, “It’s already dark, it’s time to get some rest. There’s no point in exhausting yourself for this.”

Dorothy looked like she wasn’t willing to stop yet, but I had a firm look on my face that brokered no argument.

As such, she had no choice but to put the orb down and leave with me.

Though I could see her turning back to look at the orb one last time when we were leaving.

It was like a child leaving behind her favourite toy with how she looked at it.

I woke up in the middle of the night in shock when I heard this.
