Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2102: Strange relic

Chapter 2102: Strange relic
The wind elemental ancestor didn’t say anything in response to this and just turned to leave.
Lupus didn’t say anything either, but she did give a nod to me as if she was telling me to follow them.
I was confused seeing this, but I was also curious about what they were talking about.
Which was why I followed them in the end.
It turned out that this place wasn’t completely empty like I thought it would be.
It seemed that even though the space above the ground seemed empty, that didn’t mean that this place was completely empty.
It turned out that the wind elementals had been hiding things in the ground.
With a wave of its hand, there was this blade that was created that cut deep into the ground to reveal what was hidden under the dirt. The moment that this thing was revealed, there was divine energy that was released into the air.
I had already guessed that this would be some kind of relic since it was something that Lupus had entrusted to the wind elementals.
Though it certainly exceeded what I had been expecting.
The amount of divine energy that came from this thing was more than enough to show just how powerful of a relic it was.
It was strange that Lupus would just seal off this kind of relic.
But eventually I realized what the reason was and that was all because of the strange appearance of said relic. This relic was a saddle that seemed to be big enough to fit on Lupus’ back.
When I looked at it closely, I could tell that it was wind attributed divine energy that came from it.
So there was no doubt that this relic was something that had been created to be put on Lupus’ back. It seems that this was a special relic that had been created just to use with Lupus.
However, this kind of relic would give whoever was using it control over Lupus.
I was starting to understand why she had sealed off this relic in the first place.
But that also made me curious why she deemed that it was time to release this relic.
Once the relic had been revealed, the wind elemental ancestor took it out of the ground with another wave of its hand. It was lifted up by a gust of wind and held there in place by wind that continued to blow from underneath.
Then with another wave of its hand, it sent the relic towards Lupus.
However, Lupus didn’t take it as she shook her head and turned to look at me.
The wind elemental ancestor seemed surprised by her actions when it saw this, but it wasn’t as if it didn’t understand what she meant by this.
As such, the wind elemental ancestor just waved its hand once more and the saddle moved over to me. It just floated there in front of me as if it was waiting for me to take it.
However, it wasn’t as if I could take this thing that easily.
“It’s yours since you’re my current master. In the future, we will need this thing to face the forces of Destruction.” Lupus said in a calm voice.
I didn’t know what to say at first when this was being offered to me, but eventually I said, “I can’t take this. This is too important, you should find someone else to use this.”
“This is the order that my god has sent down to me and I obey.” Lupus said in a firm tone.
That just made me knit my brows since it had been a long time since I had heard anything from Zephyrus. But now all of a sudden, it was telling Lupus to become some kind of mount for me.
Though she acted like this before, it was completely different once the saddle was involved.
Once this saddle was involved, the relationship between us would become completely different…
“This will be necessary in the future when we face the forces of Destruction. We need to learn how to combine our powers properly so that we can fight them together.” Lupus said once more in an even more determined voice.
With the way that she was acting, it was as if she wouldn’t let this matter go unless I took the saddle.
With her acting this way, I really felt even less inclined to take the saddle.
But I could also see that if I didn’t take the saddle, then it was unlikely that she would let me go. It even seemed like she was planning on using force to make me take this saddle.
I just didn’t understand what was so important that made her this insistent, but it was hard to argue against Lupus when she was like this.
While I was able to stop her if I really wanted to, I didn’t want to ruin our relationship like this.
So in the end, all I could do was ask, “Do you really want to do this? If we do this, there’s no turning back.”
Lupus didn’t even answer with words, the only thing that she did was give a firm nod in response.
Seeing this, I had no choice but to take the saddle.
Though whether I would use it or not was the real question.
Even if I took this saddle, I really wasn’t inclined to use it since I didn’t think that it was necessary to use it in most cases. I was planning on using this as a worst case scenario when it came to dealing with the Apostles of Destruction.
Namely, the Four Omens.
The strength that the last two of them possessed was on a completely different level and I wasn’t confident in dealing with the two of them even with how much I’ve grown.
So it would be fine to use this saddle if I ever needed to face them.
Only it didn’t seem like Lupus thought the same.
“We need to test this out.”
