Shota's Isekai NTR Adventure - Chapter 2108: Buried in lava

Chapter 2108: Buried in lava
The only thing that could glow like this was a pool of lava and that was where Lupus was pointing.
I looked down once more to make sure that this was indeed the place before looking at Lupus again.
It was just that the expression on Lupus’ face didn’t change even though I looked at her like this.
It seemed that she was certain that this was where the pillar was.
Since she was certain, then the only thing that I could do was…
“Ifrit, can you move it?”
I wasn’t certain if Ifrit could do it, but there really was no other choice since I didn’t have a way to deal with this pool of lava if Ifrit didn’t know how to free it.
When Ifrit appeared, it didn’t say anything as it went towards the pool of lava to take a closer look.
Then when Ifrit came back, it said, “It’s doable.”
I let out a sigh of relief when I heard this, but I could also see that there was something that Ifrit wasn’t saying. It seemed like this would be difficult for Ifrit if it were to do it on its own.
“Take my power.”
Ifrit was surprised to hear this, but it gave a nod in response and looked much more confident after that.
After all, the contract that we had required me to provide power if it wanted to use more powerful abilities. It seemed that this lava really wasn’t normal lava if Ifrit needed more power to take care of it.
But then again, this was something that was created by divine energy in the first place.
So it shouldn’t have been surprising if Ifrit needed a bit more power to take care of this lava.
Once it had access to my power, Ifrit dove right into the lava and there was a split that appeared. This was a line that appeared on the surface of the lava and it pushed everything away from the center where the line appeared.
It didn’t take long for a strip to appear in the lava, but there wasn’t anything that was revealed.
This was a pool of lava that was right in the center of a volcano, so it wasn’t as if this was something that was that easy to cut through. It seemed like this pool of lava was quite deep and it would take a while to reach the bottom.
But Ifrit continued pushing more and more of the lava aside.
After a while, there was something that came out of the lava.
Only when we saw it, we couldn’t help revealing confused looks since we had no idea what this thing was. It was this large mass of rock that was there, but it wasn’t something that had been floating in the lava.
It was something that had been grounded and had been inside of the lava the entire time.
After looking at it for a bit, I jumped down towards the rock.
But as I was jumping down, I took out the Staff of Earth and pointed it at the rock that was there. When I stabbed the Staff of Earth into the rock, there were cracks that formed on the surface of the rock before it shattered apart.
These cracks had spread all over the rock itself, so the rock had shattered in a way where it completely shattered to pieces.
Once the rock shattered, the thing that was hiding inside of the rock was revealed.
It was the last pillar that we were looking for.
After landing by the pillar, I couldn’t help looking at it with a worried look.
After all, it was clear what had happened to this pillar that caused it to stop functioning.
Since it had been submerged inside of this lava, it had actually cooled the lava down over all the time that it had been here and had formed that rock around itself.
So it was unknown if there was damage to the pillar.
We only knew that the rock had most likely prevented it from interacting with the other pillars.
After moving beside it, I looked closely at it before letting out a sigh of relief and saying, “It’s still functioning.”
There were skeptical looks that were cast in my direction, but I knew that this thing was still working since I could sense the divine energy coming from it. This was something that was made by the gods, so it wasn’t as if this was something that would break that easily.
In fact, this was something that I should have already expected since Lupus was able to lead us here.
If there was one thing that Lupus was following, it was the divine energy inside of this pillar. And since there was divine energy still inside of this pillar, that meant that this thing was still functioning.
With these thoughts put aside, I reached out to send divine energy into the pillar.
Once divine energy entered the pillar, there was a reaction that came from it that we were all familiar with. In fact, the force was so strong that there was no longer a need for Ifrit to push back the lava.
Just the force that the pillar released was enough to keep the lava away.
“When the gods put this array down, it seemed like they didn’t even think about where they were putting it.” That was the only thing that I could think of when I saw this.
It hadn’t been a problem before, but now it was a problem with the lava pools.
Still, it was quite easy to solve and it meant that there wasn’t a problem down below.
In that case, this should be the same as the other times.
Once the array activated, the same thing happened where there was an entrance leading into the ground that was revealed.
We didn’t think too much about it as we walked down, but we soon realized that this place wasn’t simple.
