Chapter 2127: Different application

Seeing that I was just standing there in front of the withered tree without doing anything, it was only normal that the wood elementals would feel anxious.

Still, they knew that this was something that wasn’t easy to do.

Even if they wanted to rush it, it wasn’t something that could be done that easily.

In the end, they still ran out of patience.

One of the wood elementals came forward to ask, “Is there a problem?”

A bitter feeling filled me since it wasn’t as if I could just tell them about the problem I was facing.

The only thing that I could do was say, “It’s a delicate procedure, which is why it takes some time for me to do this.”

The wood elemental didn’t seem like it fully believed me when I said this, but it wasn’t as if the wood elemental was able to change anything. So they had no choice but to trust that I knew what I was doing.

But it wasn’t as if I knew what I was doing since I still had no idea what I could do to help the withered tree.

If I were to use my divine energy, there was no doubt that more damage would be caused to the withered tree.

It wasn’t until I took out the orb in desperation that I finally figured something out.

“What if I used my domain?”

It wasn’t something that I had been thinking about, but I really didn’t have a single choice at this moment. The only thing that was special about the domain that I wanted to use at this moment was its ability to allow me to control everything.

If I were to control everything that was in this space with the domain, I should be able to create a force that was weak enough for the withered tree to absorb.

Which was why I raised my orb and summoned out the weapons that would form the boundaries of the domain.

It didn’t take long for me to set up this domain that surrounded the withered tree, but that definitely wasn’t an easy thing to do with the size of this withered tree. It took many different weapons to surround the withered tree and I was even feeling a bit drained because of it.

However, it did allow me to control the space around it which allowed me to weaken my divine energy as much as possible.

“It’s still too strong…”

“It’s too weak now…”

It was a long and arduous process, but I was able to figure it out in the end.

I was able to figure out how to use the domain to weaken the divine energy to the point where I could surround the withered tree and allow it to absorb it.

The worst part was when it was too weak that the withered tree completely ignored it.

It really seemed like this withered tree was a picky customer…

But at least it seemed like the withered tree was slowly recovering with the way that I was injecting divine energy into it. It seemed like at this rate, the withered tree would be able to recover.

I wasn’t the only one that could see that the withered tree was recovering from what I was doing.

The wood elementals naturally noticed that the withered tree’s condition was slowly getting better and they had looks of hope in their eyes.

It seemed that they were slowly gaining confidence in me with how they looked at me.

But I didn’t turn to look at them.

Instead, my attention was completely on the domain that I had projected.

It wasn’t the domain itself that had caught my attention, but something about the way that the divine energy flowed inside of the domain.

If I hadn’t learned about how to read the flow of divine energy before this, then I wouldn’t have been able to see it. But since I could see it, it was hard not to see it now that it was in front of me.

This was actually quite the interesting thing considering how I had never noticed this before.

“There are different properties to the divine energy depending on the concentration of the divine energy. If it’s weaker, it has a more soft attribute to it. If it’s stronger, then it has a harder attribute to it.”

This kind of thing might have seemed obvious to anyone that thought about it, but that wasn’t what was important.

It was what being soft and hard meant to creation attributed divine energy.

One thing was the speed of transfer.

With the softer divine energy, it was able to transfer itself much faster than the harder divine energy. Of course, it would make sense since there wasn’t as much divine energy that needed to be transferred.

But this kind of thing wasn’t really something that I had thought about previously.

Divine energy was something that I controlled instinctively and even after learning how to use the domain, I had just used the domain to dominate the divine energy.

I never really took the time to learn more about the attributes of my divine energy.

Now that it was placed in front of me, I was being forced to study it.

Though it wasn’t as if it was a bad thing for me to study this.

The more that I knew about the creation divine energy, the more that I would be able to do with it.

For the wood elementals…

“What is he doing? Why is it taking so long?”

The withering of the tree seemed to be going away for a bit before the tree stopped changing. Then all of a sudden, the withering would fade once more.

It was as if what was happening was some kind of joke that was being played on them.

So for the wood elementals, it really was a hard period of waiting.

But eventually, I was able to get rid of the withering of the tree so that it returned to normal.
