Luckily for me, there were quite a few people here that I could test these ideas on.

They were even waiting for me to test these ideas on them since they wanted to clash with my domain.

Since that was the case, there really was no need for me to hold back.

The next one that came forward was the saintess.

She didn’t hold back at all as she released her domain and slammed right into my domain.

The domain that the saintess came up with was a domain that was what one would expect a saintess to come up with.

It was a domain that controlled light in its space.

But it went beyond just controlling light, it focused light to the point where it became…

“Laser beams…”

I was quite surprised to see that the saintess was shooting out laser beams like it was nothing, but it wasn’t as if I couldn’t stop these laser beams.

It was all because I knew that there were certain materials that would be able to block and absorb light.

This was knowledge from my past life, so it wasn’t as if anyone in this world would have known about this. However, this knowledge gave me the perfect counter against the lasers that the saintess was shooting at me.

When her ultimate attack was nullified, there really wasn’t anything that the saintess could do.

After all, this was the limit to the power that could be demonstrated by controlling light.

Other than this, the only thing that she could do was take away or give off more light.

This was perfect for causing distractions and creating blind spots, but it wasn’t as if this had any destructive power.

The saintess had a bitter look on her face as she looked at me, as if she couldn’t believe that I had figured out how to counter her lasers.

Only it wasn’t as if I could tell her how I had figured this out.

It was the culmination of many people’s hard work from my past life.

Other than these two, the other domains weren’t really of much note.

Though they were domains, it didn’t seem like there was anything special about those domains.

It was to be expected since not everyone would be able to develop at the same speed as old man Lancelot and the saintess.

The two of them were special.

Old man Lancelot was once the most powerful knight on the entire continent, so the level of experience that he had was on a completely different level. He was someone that could easily draw on that experience to fill in the gaps where he was lacking.

As for the saintess, she was someone that had been with the gods for her entire life.

She was someone that could easily see through divine energy and condense it into a domain.

It was just that they had completely different foundations compared to the rest.

So it wasn’t as if this was a bad thing.

It just meant that they had to work a bit harder to complete these domains.

Sparring with them certainly seemed to have given them some ideas about where to develop their domains. After all, seeing the flaws of one’s technique was the best way to figure out what was lacking.

Since I crushed them with my domain, it was only natural that they learned where the flaws of their domains were.

However, the one that gained the most out of this was me.

“So other than speed, it seems like knowledge is the most important thing.”

During the spar with their domains, I had drawn on what I knew about different laws of this world to completely nullify their domains. This was not something that could have been done if I didn’t have my knowledge from my past life.

Even the small bit of knowledge that I possessed had been enough for me to conjure up these things that completely nullified them.

“It’s hard to tell if this is magic or science at this point…”

But then again, even if it was divinity, there were general laws of this world that remained the same since these were fundamental laws of nature.

So as long as I knew about these laws, I would be able to do things that others couldn’t with this power.

Other than that, I could sense that my domain was stronger because of this.

It was by crushing other domains that I was able to affirm the power of my own domain and make it stronger.

“It’s just like Insectum said. The stronger one’s belief is in their domain, the stronger that their domain becomes.”

I thought that this was just their way of saying that one should utilize the specialty of the domain, but now I knew that there was actual belief that was behind this.

After crushing all of them, the only one that was left was Alidus.

He had remained on the side the entire time and it didn’t seem like he actually wanted to spar with me, but he came forward in the end to join in the sparring.

Though I didn’t really know what he would demonstrate, I didn’t have much hope that it would be anything special. After all, I had already seen what Alidus was capable of and knew what his domain could do.

So that was why I wanted to give him a way out.

“It’s fine, it’s just a bit of sparring.” That was his response in the end, showing that he still wanted to go through with it.

Since that was the case, there wasn’t anything that I could do about it.

But I was the one that was surprised when he released the power of his domain.

I thought that it would be the same as last time, but it turned out that it was completely different.

It turned out that he had completely unlocked the power of his domain during this time that I had been away.
