- Chapter 476 - 476: Battle Versus Gara 1

“And today, we have a special event,” the announcer’s voice was loud, resounding all over the entire massive auditorium, the crowd roared, hundreds of thousands of people all from different races.
Their chants made the entire place shake, but the auditorium was far too strong to break, even after shaking hard.
On the auditorium was a man, dressed in an elegant purple and black suit with golden accessories and more, his eyes gleamed with a strange purple glow. His skin was pale as paper, nails black as night. He was at least seven feet tall.
“We have a new comer, an unknown, someone that will definitely raise some questions. A demigod of no known location, but I am sure that he will impress.
He goes by the name, Terron!” As he announced the name, a massive explosion ripped through the floor, reaching high into the air in the arena, and when it died down, Silva stood there, but different.
He was wearing a simple sleeveless white shirt, and black puffy pants, his hands were wrapped with bandages all the way to his elbow. His silver hair still remained, but longer, and the features of his face were changed slightly to ensure that no one knew who he was.
Silva stood there, the crowd buzzed with wonder about this character, none of them had ever seen this character before, and now he was standing here.
He also didn’t look all powerful at all, completely calm, and that was for a simple reason, Silva was forcing his divine energy to stay hidden, he didn’t want it to show outward because that would pull some eyes to him, after all he has a very large amount of divine energy.
“It’s been a while I had a good fight.” Aren muttered, he already decided in his mind that he would be holding back a certain amount to ensure that he got the best feel of the battle.
“And now his opponent, a demigod we will know from the planet of Razek, he left there many years ago, and has now become a household name here. With over two hundred wins and twenty losses, Gara!”
As his voice was called, the entire place exploded with a loud roar, everyone seemed to know this figure. The same explosion happened and when it died down a figure was standing there.
He looked like a human from a distance, he wore a sleeveless black armor set, but his arms had some red scales on certain important parts of his body.
His hair was red and two dragon like horns were on his forehead, with eyes that looked into the soul and a wide smile on his face.
A massive sword rested on his back diagonally, almost the same length as him.
He looked right at Silva, “are you my opponent?” he asked.
“Yeah, it seems so,” Silva replied.
“Hmm, your death will be fast,” Gara said.
“Uhm, are you meant to kill me? Don’t we just like give up?” Silva asked.
“Hahahahaha” The entire crowd burst into laughter.
“Haha, a demigod is scared of death”
“What does this dude even have to offer, hahahaha” Their laughter got louder.
Silva smiled slightly, ‘keep laughing, I need everyone to bet against me, that way I can make the best amount possible.’
“If both fighters are ready, fight,” the announcer said and immediately vanished.
Gara didn’t rush to attack, he pulled out his sword slowly, and then gripped it with both hands, looking right at Silva, “show me if you are worthy of me taking seriously.” After saying that, he blasted forward, the ground beneath him exploded from force.
“Oh my goodness, the fight has barely begun and the arena is already taking a hit, that’s how you know a good fight is about to start.” The announcer’s voice came from nowhere, then he appeared above the arena, looking down at the fight.
‘This should be fun,’ Silva thought as he watched Gara approaching.
“Tch, take him down fast,” one mind said immediately, not wanting to waste time.
“Come on, we want to feel the thrill of battle, don’t rush it.” Another mind said casually.
Every one of Silva’s minds right now were watching, not acting in full drive though, only the prime mind was actually fighting, they didn’t want to go all out as Silva wanted.
Gara got in close and then went for a powerful slash. Silva saw the attack coming and then leaned backwards as far as he could, the blade passed right over him, unleashing a powerful arc, it ripped through the air like a storm, slamming into the invisible barrier that was there, the entire auditorium trembled, the roars got louder, excitement rose.
“Let’s see how you defend against this.” Gara roared, he pulled his sword back, planted his foot hard into the ground and swung down.
Silva moved to the side fast, the sword cut into the ground, BOOM! Debris and dust flew in every direction, and then a shockwave exploded sideways, slamming into Silva and throwing him back.
Silva flipped through the air, landing on his foot, skidding backwards and stopping near the edge of the arena.
“You really are a nimble fellow, but if that’s all you have to offer as a demigod, then you’ll sadly die here, I’m yet to even go five percent.” Gara spoke, filled with pride, the crowd ate that up, cheering like wild animals.
Silva looked at Gara and then chuckled, “for someone that’s yet to even land a single attack, you have a lot of pride.”
Gara’s face twitched, he looked at Silva, “you just signed your death wish, prepare to die kid.” He yelled.
“Is the great Gara enraged? Will we get to see him go all out? Or even unleash his true martial prowess? Are we going to witness the true strength of a martial demigod today?” The announcer asked more and more questions, hyping up the crowd.
Bets were happening non stop, and a staggering ninety five percent chose Silva to lose this battle.
