Starting With an SSS-Rank Swordsmanship Talent - Chapter 632 Bellator Cruentos

Chapter 632 Bellator Cruentos
Two weeks passed by in the blink of an eye. Alaric didn’t do much over the last two weeks and focused only on his recovery.
With the doctors’ joint efforts and his Supreme Regeneration trait, he was nearly back to full health.
At this moment, Alaric went to a secluded location alone, outside the capital city. He didn’t bring anyone and he told the others that he would go out for some fresh air.
However, the real reason for this abrupt travel wasn’t merely to enjoy the cold breeze of the winter morning.
His true objective was to find a quiet place to use the Mythical Knight Card.
Alaric looked around and found himself in the middle of a forest surrounded by towering trees and dense foliage.
This should be a good place. He scanned the area with his mana to make sure that no one was nearby. After ascertaining that he was alone, he opened the system screen.
[Do you want to use the Mythical Knight Card?]
[Yes] [No]
He had kept this card ever since he received it from the system rewards. He was careful since he didn’t want anyone to discover anything that could trace back to the system.
With a look of anticipation, he pressed [Yes].
A blinding light flashed, but Alaric was already prepared. He closed his eyes to shield them from the intense brightness.
In that instant, he suddenly felt an ominous presence, forcing him to quickly open his eyes.
Standing in front of him was a middle-aged man wearing bloodstained steel armor. The right side of his face sported a gnarly scar that looked like a part of it had been bitten off by an animal. He also had deep claw scars on his neck.
The middle-aged man revealed a look of confusion as he surveyed the forest. When he caught sight of Alaric, he instinctively whipped out a glowing spear out of nowhere.
Just when he was about to attack Alaric with his spear, his arms suddenly paused, as if an unseen force had stopped him in place.
“You!” A deep and grim voice came out of his mouth as he looked at Alaric in surprise.
“How do you possess this power?! Are you a descendant of the Ancients?” The middle-aged man’s eyes flickered.
Ancients?
Alaric furrowed his eyebrows. He had heard this word from Nivis when he first summoned her.
While he was recalling his past interactions with Nivis, the man’s voice echoed once more.
“No… A human can’t be a descendant of the Ancients. Then you must be one of the chosen.” He seemed to have calmed down after this realization.
Curious, Alaric tried to glean some information so he used his Appraisal on the man.

Alaric was flustered when he saw the man’s attributes and traits.
Who on Earth is this guy?!
“Since you possess the power of the Ancients, then you are not my enemy…” Bellator stared deeply at him as he unsummoned the glowing spear.
The heavy pressure quickly disappeared, making Alaric feel much better.
“What’s your name, my lord?” Alaric asked, composing himself.
Bellator didn’t want to give his name, but the unseen power forced him to speak.
“My name is Bellator Cruentos, General of the Blood Dragon Army.” His voice carried tremendous dignity and power that conveyed his influential background.
The power of the Ancients is forcing me to submit to this man… To think that I, the great Bellator, would be forced to become someone’s underling. The thought made him feel angry, his intimidating aura once again radiated from his body.
Feeling the intense fluctuations of energy, Alaric frowned. He was slightly concerned.
This man was so powerful that he could still summon such a tremendous aura even with the system’s suppression.
Alaric was a bit nervous, but he chose to trust the system. It never failed him once.
He took a deep breath to gather his thoughts.
“I am Alaric Silversword, the third prince of the Astanian Empire and the sole heir of House Silversword. It’s an honor to meet the great Bellator Cruentos!” He saluted to show enough respect to the powerful warrior.
Hearing this, Bellator narrowed his eyes.
Astanian Empire… House Silversword…
I haven’t heard of those names…
“Is this the Remona continent?” He asked, looking at the young prince before him.
Alaric shook his head. “This isn’t the Remona continent. From what I know, we are in the Cangnan continent.”
Bellator frowned. “Cangnan continent… the weakest continent among the three major continents…”
“No wonder the mana here is so faint…” He shook his head, his voice carrying a trace of disappointment and disdain.
Alaric noticed this, but he pretended not to notice. He was curious about the three continents that he mentioned.
“Lord Bellator, can you tell me more about the three continents?”
Bellator was silent for a moment before he replied. “Get me something to drink and I’ll tell you.”
Alaric hesitated for a moment. He was afraid that this guy might attack the residents of Veronica. With the traits and attributes he possessed, it would be impossible to fight him. Even the cult leader wasn’t as ridiculously strong as this man.
As if sensing his concerns, Bellator added. “Don’t worry. My power is currently being suppressed. You might have noticed it already.”
“The power of the Ancients that you possess is suppressing me and forcing me to submit to you.” His voice contained strong unwillingness and a hint of anger.
Alaric already knew this.
Nivis also refused to listen to him back then, but with the suppressive power of the system, she could only reluctantly follow him. He believed that this man was also constrained by this power.
“Then I will take you to somewhere with a wonderful drink. I’m sure you will like it there.” Alaric smiled faintly.
