Strongest Hammer God - Chapter 565 Biggest Dwarf or Smallest Human

Kyle looked around the plaza.
‘Just 15 people,’ he thought. ‘That’s not a lot.’
‘As far as I know, Table Feast recruits every year, while Archon recruits every 20 years. Meanwhile, the Array of Stars only recruits every century.’
‘This time, everything just happens to line up. I guess that’s why this is a grand recruitment and not just a normal recruitment wave.’
“Everyone has acted according to the rules,” the Fusion Realm Seeker announced.
The Examiner from Table Feast didn’t show it, but Kyle could feel his Energy relaxing after these words were spoken.
Meanwhile, Kyle noticed that seven out of the ten Inspectors took to the sky, leaving the other three behind.
One of the three who had been left behind was that mysterious woman.
The appearance of the three of them changed.
All three of them had seemed rather old, but now, they seemed to be young and full of vigor.
‘Ah, I get it,’ Kyle thought. ‘I think I know what’s going on.’
He watched the three of them walking to the edge of the plaza to form their own group.
“Tyrol’s Bane,” the Fusion Realm Seeker said.
“Here!” one of the Examiners from a different group shouted before walking forward with his group.
He had the biggest group with five contestants.
Kyle’s group was the second biggest with four.
Then, there were two groups with two people, and two groups with only one.
After the Inspectors left, the remaining groups had lost their one and only contestant.
Kyle could see that some of the Examiners without contestants seemed a bit dispirited.
They had arrived with a rare Fulfilled Transcendent, but it turned out that it was just an Inspector.
The group from Tyrol’s Bane stopped below the levitating Fusion Realm Seeker and waited.
The two groups just looked at each other for a couple of seconds.
‘They’re probably conversing via Voice Transmission.’
“First contestant, step forward,” the Fusion Realm Seeker said.
The Examiner of the group looked at one person in the group who quickly stepped forward in response.
It was a blue-haired woman with a form-fitting set of blue armor.
The Fusion Realm Seeker looked at the woman for a couple of seconds, and Kyle could feel some unfamiliar kind of Energy coming from her.
Five seconds later, the Energy vanished.
“Wait over there,” the Fusion Realm Seeker said. A moment later, a faint beam of light appeared, pointing at one of the empty edges of the plaza.
‘Oh, seems like somebody failed.’ Kyle thought. ‘Well, assuming my guess is correct.’
The woman performed a short and respectful bow before leaving.
The next person was sent forward, and they were also sent to the same location after investigation.
This continued until…
“You will wait over there,” she said to the fifth person, her beam of light pointing towards the three Inspectors.
‘Ha! I was right!’ Kyle thought smugly.
The reason why the Inspectors had split up was that some of them had the potential to enter the Array of Stars.
Most likely, the three of them had been recruited by Archon within the last 100 years, and they simply had to wait until the next grand recruitment.
‘The people going to the Inspectors get sent to the Array of Stars, while the others join Archon.’
“Table Feast,” she announced while the Examiner from Tyrol’s Bane went back to his earlier spot, alone.
“Here,” the Examiner from Table Feast spoke as he stepped forward.
Kyle and the other three followed after him.
For a while, the Fusion Realm Seeker conversed with the Examiner.
“First contestant,” she announced moments later.
The Examiner’s eyes fell onto the four contestants for a moment before locking onto one person in particular.
The next moment, a man with dark red hair stepped out of the group.
‘He wants to be dramatic,’ Kyle thought. ‘Big start and big finish.’
Besides the silver-haired woman, this guy had seemed the most competent to Kyle.
He had a powerful Complex Law that allowed him to warp the metal and earth around him. From what Kyle could see, this guy was fighting by only using his mind and Energy.
He didn’t seem like he was fighting with his body.
The man stopped in front of the Fusion Realm Seeker and waited.
Surprisingly, he just stood there for over ten seconds, which was quite a bit longer than all the other ones had taken.
‘He’s probably just barely on the edge,’ Kyle thought. ‘She’s uncertain if he’s good enough or not. Archon or Array of Stars? Biggest dwarf or smallest human?’
After almost 20 seconds, a new beam of light came out of the Fusion Realm Seeker.
Surprisingly, it pointed to another empty edge.
The man bowed deeply in respect before walking over there.
“Next,” she said.
Once more, Kyle wasn’t chosen, and the next contestant was promptly directed to the loser group.
The third one was also directed to the loser group.
“Last member,” she said, and the Examiner looked at Kyle. Kyle stepped forward and stopped in front of the hovering Fusion Realm Seeker.
The next moment, Kyle felt foreign Energy invading his body.
The Energy only looked at his bones and muscles. It didn’t even look at his mind, Soul, or Center.
‘It’s an age test,’ Kyle thought. ‘Luckily, the Lord has already thought of that.’
Naturally, one of the most important parts about new recruits was their age.
Table Feast didn’t accept Fulfilled Transcendents and immediately sent them to Archon.
Archon only accepted Fulfilled Transcendents.
And the Array of Stars?
They only accepted Unique Transcendents and Fulfilled Transcendents who had a chance of becoming Unique Transcendents in the future.
However, it was important to note that only Unique Transcendents were immediately accepted.
The remainder would enter the Star Seeking.
Someone who only managed to become a Fulfilled Transcendent after 700 years had no shot at ever becoming a Unique Transcendent. There simply wasn’t enough time.
But someone who was only 400 years old might still have a shot.
If the Fusion Realm Seeker inspected Kyle’s body, she would find that he was only 250, not 350 years old. After all, his longevity had been paused while he had been an Overseer.
While becoming a Fulfilled Transcendent after 250 years was extremely good, Kyle’s other accomplishments would be too much.
One had to remember that Kyle also knew two other Level Two Laws and was almost done with his Law of Body.
Because of that, the Lord had subtly changed Kyle’s body so that it seemed like he was 400 years old.
Kyle was just on the edge.
His situation was similar to the situation of the first member of his group.
He was a Fulfilled Transcendent, but he had become a Fulfilled Transcendent very late relative to the Array of Stars’ standards.
The Fusion Realm Seeker looked at Kyle for over ten seconds before she made her decision.
