If you remove a mantis’ upper body, put its head onto its abdomen, and move its arms to its back, you could probably somewhat recreate this thing.’

As Kyle looked at the creature, he noticed a couple of things.

‘The joints of its sickle-like appendages can rotate by almost 270° towards either side. Since they can stretch for quite a bit, they can essentially hit anything that approaches or touches the body. Its entire body is under the protection of these things.’

‘There’s no blind spot. No matter how you approach it, the sickles will be able to target you.’

‘Its most powerful weapon is essentially always between you and your target.’

‘Most beasts have some kind of weak spot. For example, wolves have difficulties in dealing with enemies on their backs. For snakes, only their head and tail are dangerous. Attack their body, and they have difficulties.’

‘But this thing has no weak spots.’

‘I can see why it’s a Divine Beast.’

After looking at the Divine Beast from a distance for a bit, Kyle left again.
