Sumatra's Greatest Fan - Chapter 184: Empyrean Rhully

Chapter 184: Empyrean Rhully
One month left until the Wean Clan’s expedition into Nusantara Continent!
Having succeeded in extracting the genetic strain from the Roshmon related to unleashing its power of psychokinesis, Torq added it to the Pet he had been creating.
This Pet used to be the silver humanoid once, to which Bludder genes were added and turned into the Blessed Bludder.
Following that, the genetic strain related to the Millinger, specifically its capability to use psychokinesis to launch its artillery strike. Adding this strain caused a genetic change in the Pet, which upon the addition of Nectar, eased out naturally until it became a proper genetic trait.
Beginner Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Blessed Bullinger!
Upon reaching this point, Torq first accumulated skin patches of the creature so that he could continue his research even while messing up. Blessed Bullinger was pretty powerful. But its Prana consumption was excessively high, requiring all its Prana capacity for a single activation of its Primary Nature.
This was where he started to add in the Roshmon’s genetic strains, while seeking to dilute and adapt the Blessed Bullinger’s genetics into three variants.
This part was easy, since the Blessed Bullinger had too much genetics in it, which were actually straining its overall makeup. He would have to feed it plenty of Nectar before it stabilised.
At the moment, he wanted it to be unstable, so that he could use a majority of its genetics as a base, and then vary the excess strains to create three variants in total.
Two days later, he obtained the first result.
Beginner Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Blessed Bodinger!
It retained all the genetic strains related to the silver humanoid’s power for affecting the body. Upon reaching this point, Torq obviously collected its skins and then focused on the second variant. Five days later, he succeeded.
Beginner Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Cursed Mendinger!
It held all the traits of the silver humanoid’s ability to harm the mind. Of course, despite being a Gold Grade Pranic Beast, it was extremely stable, insane even, as every second of its life, it became a newborn baby, experiencing its experiences and memories constantly getting wiped out every moment.
It lived with the awareness that its memories were being wiped out, in real-time. It didn’t remember anything else, causing it to live in a hollow state with an extreme imposter syndrome.
Two hours later, the Cursed Mendinger committed suicide.
Torq wasn’t worried, since it was his Pet when it committed suicide. So, he could revive it when necessary. Of course, it was faster to just make a new Pet of it, since he had plenty of its skin patches stored in his reserves.
Therefore, without hesitation, he created a new Blessed Bullinger Pet and began creating its final variant, succeeding after eight days had passed.
Beginner Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Vagrant Sentinger!
It lived like a rock, unwilling to interact with anyone, for mere exposure to its presence will affect the lifespan of the targets. And if the target has Life Stage cultivation, their stack will implode.
The Vagrant Sentinger only sought to live as passively as possible, until its body was no longer able to sustain itself and lead to its death. ’None of these variants wish to live.’
It made sense, considering the sheer influence stemming from their abilities. And as Pranic Beasts, they were moulded to exhibit the influence permeating through their Primary Natures. Since their Natures were able to destroy living beings, their characters exhibited their desire to avoid living.
They hated living beings, including themselves.
Once he had the three variants, Torq spent a day each, creating Pets of the respective variants and extracting their genetic traits. Using the Blessed Bodinger as the base, for it was by far the most stable in its desire to live, Torq added in the genetic strains of its two variants.
And then, it was just a matter of timing and patience as he fed it Nectar, until its genes naturally adjusted to the new strains and realistically exhibited their respective characteristics.
A mere four days left for the expedition into the Nusantara Continent, Torq’s eyes gleamed with an explosive sense of victory upon staring at the baby Pranic Beast that lay on a table before him, barely reaching a couple metres in size. “It’s…done!”
First things first, he ripped off a few patches of facial skin from the baby Pranic Beast and stored them. Next, he focused on his stomach and treated the two Tangible Natures within as food, watching them become digested promptly in response.
Now, his stomach was empty. He had emptied it in preparations to endure the influence stemming from the new Tangible Nature, which should be pretty insane, considering how its earlier variants behaved.
He didn’t want the influence from other Tangible Natures to further screw him over. He intended to train his endurance to the respective Tangible Nature first, before thinking of getting another Tangible Nature.
Phew!
Exhaling a sharp breath in tension, Torq grabbed the baby Pranic Beast and consumed it, immediately feeling a surge in power as a Tangible Nature began to form in his stomach. The resources in his stomach quickly morphed to satisfy the Tangible Nature’s needs.
Mutated Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast–Empyrean Rhully!
With a Prana capacity of 8268 and a lifespan of 1915 years, the Empyrean Rhully was a Pranic Beast that was a manifestation of Torq’s absolute dreams and desires. It was what he thought of as a truly versatile existence, as with just this, Torq had gained the qualification to target the Celestial Rotocok.
The Empyrean Rhully was a slightly rotund humanoid with cat-like limbs and three tails in total. Upon maturity, the Empyrean Rhully could reach a height of 60 metres, which wasn’t that big for an Expert Gold Grade Pranic Beast.
Its limbs held ball-and-socket joints, allowing them to move in any direction of its choice. Each leg reached a length of 20 metres when fully retracted, and was capable of extending like a spring to a maximum length of eighty metres.
On its face that resembled a cat were six pairs of eyes. The first pair were able to focus, zoom into, and track muscular stress and strains. The second pair were trained to focus on facial expressions to judge the mental state.
The third pair were trained to perceive the target’s presence like a hazy mist, and only the presence.
The Empyrean Rhully’s limbs were solely to aid in its movements, possessing gripping scales that could stick onto any surface, and claws that could dig into most substances. With its spring-like legs, it could leap past most obstacles, run up steep cliffs like they were flat terrain, and stably hang onto the bodies of their prey without feeling disoriented.
It was a predator in the truest sense, born with all the traits to judge the condition of its target, and then hunt it with the highest possible efficiency. Aiding this predator in its hunt were its three tails that reached a length of 120 metres, each meant to fire off one of its Natures.
Primary Nature–Physical Cleave!
Torq inhaled a deep breath and raised his hand, feeling Prana specifically flow through the blood vessels in the hand to gather at the chopping edge. And then, he made a cutting motion while aiming at a piece of trunk in the room, brought for the testing process.
A transparent blade of energy, curved like a crescent moon, spanning a length of 15 centimetres and reaching a central thickness of four centimetres moved forth, arching backwards like a fletched arrow at it slammed into the target.
From activation to its launch, it had only taken one-third of a second, with the blade’s travel speeds reaching subsonic levels. The blade cut through the wooden trunk casually, emerged from the other side, and slammed into the wall, stopping after making a deep hole.
“…” Torq crouched to stare at the hole in the trunk and eyed the hole continuing through the wall a fair distance away, in silence for a few seconds before muttering in awe, “Damn!”
He had only consumed two units of Prana to unleash that attack, which was significantly destructive enough.
Physical Cleave unleashed a transparent blade of energy capable of severing through all forms of matter in its flight path. It was destruction condensate. Just Physical Cleave would have solved most issues, but Torq wanted more, as he was preparing a weapon capable of harming Nusantara Continent’s elite, including the Celestial Rotocok.
Towards that, he had created the other variants, which upon combination, produced Mutation and resulted in a variation of Physical Cleave.
Secondary Nature–Mental Eddy!
Mental Eddy was similar to Physical Cleave in terms of its properties, but selectively targeted the mind space. It could cut through the target’s mind, erase their memories, personality, etc.
If his target had a powerful physique that even Physical Cleave struggled against, Torq would switch to Mental Eddy and wreck the other party’s mind instead, rendering them a vegetable.
Of course, a Developed Continent like Nusantara had the means to govern against mental attacks too, which brought him to the last option.
Tertiary Nature–Entity Sever!
It targeted the soul and screwed up the victim’s lifespan, cultivation progress, Life Stage stack, etc. It was his greatest way of saying fuck-you to the opponent.
And if Entity Sever gets used on Mystic Humans like Virala who were capable of eventually remembering the memories of a previous timeline, they will no longer be able to remember the previous timelines.
The aspect of their soul related to the previous timeline would get destroyed. That was Entity Sever’s power.
Of course, Nusantara Continent was a Developed Continent, making them have a complete foundation in terms of the Body, Mind, and Soul. They had techniques geared on all fronts.
Hence, Torq had one more option, which guaranteed his opponent’s death. This was his end goal, which was what he had been striving towards all along.
State of Harmony–Foundational Dismantle!
