Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1061: Victory

Chapter 1061: Victory
Mattheus could only sigh. “It looks like you have it hard.”
Now that she had answered both questions, Evelyn demanded, “Are you going to leave?”
“I understand.” Mattheus turned around. “I won’t bother you anymore. And this is me speaking as Mattheus, not as the commander of the Summoning Division. I’m glad that you and Isabella are still alive.
“And last but not least, congratulations, Evelyn Reckmoon, for becoming a world class summoner and killing a world class summoner.
“Now that I’ve confirmed that Garam Haygaiden has been defeated along with his entire organization, I will take my leave here.” Mattheus waved his hand and flew away.
Evelyn didn’t reply to him, but her expression mellowed a bit. On the other hand, Mattheus’ expression turned grim.
There might have been no hostility in Evelyn’s eyes, but one wrong step would have caused a huge disaster for the Liaystian Kingdom. Because of the Lavender family, they lost a peerless genius as well as the genius’s relations.
The world would become chaotic once they learned of Evelyn’s existence. Besides, he had to know the method that changed her name.
Even with all the knowledge he possessed as a world class summoner, there wasn’t a single method that could make him experience such a feeling. He had to confirm it with others.
Still, there was one thing clear. Evelyn was extremely close to Nathan. This meant that Nathan’s women alone consisted of the disciple of the Sage, the princess of the Azilia Kingdom, the Saintess of the Holy Kingdom, the daughter of the Sword Saint, the daughter of the Dragon King, and the Peerless Genius.
The scale of his connection was simply too scary. He had to return to report the situation directly to the king and see what should be done regarding Evelyn.
Meanwhile, Evelyn landed in front of everyone.
“Captain…” Revon and Neyeid looked like they were about to cry.
Evelyn nodded calmly. “I’m sorry for making you worry. I’m fine now thanks to Nathan.”
“Thank you!” Revon slapped Nathan on the back.
“Are you thanking someone or murdering someone?” Nathan smiled wryly.
They couldn’t help but chuckle as Neyeid patted Nathan’s shoulder.
“We have a lot of things to do for now.” Evelyn waved her hand. “Revon, Neyeid. Gather all the corpses back at the base. Bella. Help with the cleanup. Inform Christopher and Sonia that we’re done.”
“Got it.” They acknowledged their respective orders.
“Nathan.” Evelyn turned to Nathan.
“No worries.” Nathan waved his hand. “Selena, Sera, Flora. The three of you should gather all the documents and store them inside the space bracelets. Do you need them, Captain?”
“Evelyn.” Evelyn didn’t answer him. Instead, she demanded by calling her name.
“Eh?”
Evelyn only stared at him, as she was too embarrassed to directly demand it.
Nathan could sense the piercing gazes from the three girls. These three might be attempting something tonight while demanding an explanation.
On the other hand, Bella looked amused. She couldn’t help but wonder what was actually happening in that room for Evelyn to have undergone such a change. It looked like she would be demanding an explanation as well.
“Evelyn…” Nathan smiled awkwardly as he realized he’d fucked up. He took a bigger leap than he was supposed to.
Evelyn nodded. “Well, I don’t need the documents. Since we already know the information about the enemy and where to go, there’s no need to continue with the interrogation.
“And the alien responsible for causing this situation in the first place has died, so even if you give Tuska to anyone, he won’t be able to replicate the incident.
“As for Eyewood, I don’t really have anything I need from him. Maybe we should get their communication artifacts and use them for ourselves. Other than that, you can use him as you see fit. Do you want to give them to the Azilia Kingdom?”
“Hmm…” Nathan glanced at Flora.
“Giving them to us should be no problem. Since we are the ones making the medicine, those researchers probably want more information regarding the aliens, so it’s fine to satisfy their curiosity as long as you deem it’s not dangerous.
“As for Eyewood, he’s talented. If we can force him to make an artifact for us, that should be better than executing him. Of course, he will be imprisoned for life to atone for his sins. Instead of those two, the most important ones will be Iskar Haygaiden and Garam Haygaiden.
“To respect Sage Leyfon, we should give him his body so that he can deal with the corpse. And Iskar’s corpse will be hung on the wall to show what we will do to a criminal of that level.
“After all, I’m sure that the people are angry right now due to the aliens appearing out of nowhere.”
Evelyn added, “Garam Haygaiden actually cremated his own teacher and used his ashes to unleash a powerful curse on me. Pass that message along with his body to Vice Princ… I mean, the Sage.”
Nathan also nodded. “In that case, you can deal with it as such. Might as well give them the corpses of all the officers. As for Garam’s body, we will consult the Sage first.”
“Alright. I’m pretty sure they’re going to reward you this time. They don’t know about the Sleeping Garden. And if they know you are related to Evelyn Lavender… Eh?” Flora tilted her head in confusion.
“I will explain later.” Nathan waved his hand.
Flora was a bit unsure but still nodded. “It will probably be a great merit. What kind of reward do you want? I can pass that message along.”
Nathan thought for a moment before saying, “There’s no need for a reward. If we get rewarded, those annoying princes and princesses will be knocking on our door.”
“Fair enough. They will feel uneasy because this achievement is not big. They will probably send the corpses to the Liaystian Kingdom to have them owe us.” Flora shrugged.
Nathan nodded. “Yeah.”
“In that case, I will gather the communication artifacts. You should help them, Nathan.” Evelyn pointed at the girls. She probably didn’t want to cause a conflict between Nathan and the girls, so she asked him to accompany them.
Nathan agreed. “All right. Let’s clean up then.”
