Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1110: Ice?

Chapter 1110: Ice?
The battle progressed quickly once the elite class alien fell in battle. Revon and the others immediately regrouped with Nathan.
Since a lot of aliens had died from Nathan earlier, the battle became even simpler. Nathan ordered them to launch an all-out attack against the aliens, killing them as quickly as possible.
With the group’s ability, there was no way the aliens stood a chance. Even though there were still at least 7 warrior class aliens left among them, they were slaughtered alongside the remaining aliens.
The number of aliens that died in this place exceeded ten thousand. Corpses were floating both under and above water. Their blood had filled up the surface of the sea as though there was a massive oil spill in the sea.
The second purpose of this battle had been achieved. Through this battle, Nathan managed to assess everyone’s capabilities. He also had to consider their synergy with each other.
It was fortunate that even though Evelyn and Melissa looked reluctant, they were still helping each other just fine because it was an order.
Meanwhile, the rest of the group worked along just fine. Still, he noticed that Revon fought alone most of the time.
He had to take these three people into careful consideration so that he didn’t make a big blunder on another continent.
It took them another thirty minutes before taking down all the aliens.
“Huu…” Nathan let out a long sigh.
“What’s wrong?” Evelyn floated next to him. “It looks like everything is fine. Or do you notice a problem?”
“It’s not really a problem with the group itself. I’m wondering what we should do next. If we stay here and recover, there is also a chance of more aliens coming. After all, we have slain all these aliens here. The aliens in the area will definitely come.
“Then again, most of them had been gathered by the elite class aliens, so we could probably stay here for a moment.”
“Hmm?” Evelyn shrugged. “But you have made a decision, no?”
“Yeah. We must be thinking the same thing.”
“Then, there’s no problem, right? We just have to focus on the people who have spent a lot of ena here.”
“I guess there’s no other way.” Nathan nodded in agreement.
“Gather!” Evelyn ordered, using her ena to touch those people and signaling them to regroup.
Once everyone returned, Nathan explained, “We will take a rest here first. Thanks to the elite class alien gathering the nearby aliens, even if we stay here, the blood and corpses won’t pull a large number of aliens our way for a while.
“We will focus on recovering our energy as much as possible, but if there’s any sign of a number above one hundred, we will immediately continue our journey.
“For now, we should gather the cores from all these aliens. Their number is quite high, especially those warrior class aliens and that elite class alien.
“Looking at our current situation, it’s clear that Revon will receive the elite class alien core. My reasoning is simple. Revon is the closest to becoming a world class summoner. From the looks of it, his strength already matches that of a world class summoner, so it will be beneficial if we have another world class summoner in our group.
“The rest of the cores will be split among us. That’s all. Do you have any objections?” Nathan asked with a serious expression.
Surprisingly, Bella raised her hand. “I don’t need the cores. I don’t have the intention to become a world class summoner. This level of strength is enough for me.”
Nathan frowned. “Our enemies will be much stronger, you know? We will probably even meet an alpha class alien on this trip.”
“I know.” She nodded. “However, it doesn’t change my decision. I’m much more suitable for supporting everyone, especially behind the desk. Fighting is not really my forte.”
“…” Nathan turned his head to Evelyn, his eyes asking whether it would be alright.
Evelyn nodded. “I will take responsibility for her and fight her part as well.”
Nathan couldn’t really deny Bella’s claim. She was indeed more suitable for the work behind the desk. Her ability was beyond even Selena and Flora, so it might not be bad for Bella to focus on that type of work.
By rejecting the cores, more cores would be allocated to the others, so there was no need to complain. Then again, Bella had become an arcane level summoner, so her base ability alone was above Christopher and Sonia already. Even without taking cores, she would still be useful on this trip.
Nathan thought for a moment before nodding his head. “Alright. I will respect your decision.”
“In that case, I want to give up my portion as well.” Neyeid raised his hand.
“Huh?” Nathan became even more confused. “You too?”
“Yeah, not for the same reason though. I just want to give more shares to our grandmasters this time. Since our opponents are insanely strong, it will be good if all of us are at least arcane level.”
“I actually agree.” Evelyn nodded. “This way, we don’t have to help you excessively. What do you think?”
After some thoughts, Nathan ultimately agreed to their request. “All right. Let’s do it this way. Still, those who have spent a considerable amount of ena should take some. It’s faster to increase our ena capacity through the cores than recover right now.”
Once they reached an agreement, they split up to collect all the cores. Nathan summoned the ship back on the surface and let people recover.
In the end, the group had one full day of rest. Although it wasn’t enough to fully recover due to a small group of aliens attacking from time to time on their guard duty, they managed to recover at least 80% of their ena.
Although they wanted to recover more, the corpses started to attract more and more aliens. So, they had no other choice but to continue.
To everyone’s surprise, three days later, Bella was standing on top of the deck while pointing forward, shocked by what she had seen.
“Is that… ice?”
