Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1113: Contact

Chapter 1113: Contact
For the next two days, the group camped on the edge of the ice wall to recover their energy. Once they returned to their peak state, it was time for them to begin their exploration.
“Sonia. How is it?” Evelyn asked Sonia, who had just returned from scouting the area.
Sonia shook her head. “I have expanded my search area, but there’s nothing to be seen. There are no humans or aliens around here.”
“That’s good then.” Evelyn nodded. “In that case, we should head to the center of this land, right? We will expand our search in all directions to find the alien. What if we find nothing?”
“Then, it can’t be helped.” Nathan shook his head helplessly. “If there’s nothing we can find, then we will continue our journey right away. As much as I want to find the alien, wasting too much time here is too much.”
“Still, the alien’s words should be true, so there’s a high chance the alien is here. We can spare some time to check it one or two more times, so you don’t have to worry.” Bella patted Nathan’s shoulder.
“All right.” Evelyn stood up. “Let us depart. Once we reach a certain distance, we will split into four groups according to the guard duty.”
Evelyn had given Revon, Neyeid, and Bella the space bracelets, while Evelyn would be following Nathan. So, there was no need to worry about their supplies.
The entire land was covered in snow and ice. The weather was worse than anything they had ever seen. There were blizzards that could appear all of a sudden, which made it hard for normal humans to travel.
Fortunately, all of them were powerful summoners. By utilizing their power, they could resist the cold. There was also one more familiar that could help them. It was none other than Fenrir.
Even though he stayed in Asgard, Fenrir was a wolf. This place was like his turf, so Fenrir had no time to go around the area.
Nathan asked him to scout the entire area while they were going to conserve their ena. Fenrir’s senses were the sharpest among his familiars, but even with those senses, he couldn’t find anything.
Still, the group was actually enjoying this trip. They found a lot of things they never thought were possible before.
Bella couldn’t help but jump and catch one of the penguins when they encountered a group of penguins on the way.
Sonia, on the other hand, actually loved seals more than the penguins due to their size. Either way, they ended up running away when they encountered Nathan’s group.
Still, it was quite surprising that these animals were here. At the same time, he didn’t think they were strong enough to be called predators by the black cell. So, the aliens might not kill them. Or there might not be any aliens in this place at all.
It was truly something they had never seen before, and they thoroughly enjoyed their trip here. Bella was probably the most excited one. She couldn’t help but climb several mountains and boldly named them.
Melissa and Charlotte looked like they had gotten along and recorded everything they had seen here. Even Charlotte, with her knowledge, never saw this type of biome on her home planet since she lived on a tropical continent.
However, even after traveling such a distance, they felt weird because they didn’t find any trace of aliens in this area. No matter how hard they searched, there was simply no threat.
But due to the size of the continent, even the group would have a hard time searching every corner. After all, on Earth, it was still considered a continent, which was something impossible to be investigated by a small group of people.
After traveling for three days, Nathan decided to start their original plan.
“Are you sure?” Evelyn frowned.
“Yeah. Starting tomorrow, it’s best to split up. This place is so big, so I don’t know how long it will take to search every corner of this place.”
Evelyn contemplated. “Still, there’s a chance for an alpha class alien to appear. Fortunately, I have a magic circle that can activate my teleportation circle. As long as any of you activate it, I will go there immediately.”
“Don’t worry, Captain. We will definitely inform you whenever we find something interesting.” Neyeid nodded, assuring her.
“Indeed. We have our fun here, so it’s time to get serious.” Revon agreed with Neyeid.
“What’s the time limit?” Sonia asked.
“The original time limit is 20 days. We have spent 5 days here, so we will spend the next two weeks searching the area and one more day to rest before our departure to the next continent,” answered Nathan.
“Sure. That shouldn’t be too much.” Neyeid smiled. “Besides, this place is quite wondrous. It’s fine even if we spend more time here.”
“You can’t do that. We don’t know how long it will take to solve our business on the next continent. Although I’m fine with not coming back to the continent, Nathan needs to return. So, I’m hoping we can solve everything within one year.” Revon shook his head.
“Well, I indeed need to return as well.” Neyeid scratched the back of his head.
“I know. You need to take care of your 15 wives.”
“15?” Nathan raised his eyebrows. “This is the first time I’ve heard such a thing.”
“Don’t you know he has 15 wives? He already has 6 wives when he is still a young master. After taking care of the family business, he plays around a bit too much.” Revon pointed at Neyeid. “You two are the same thing. Why can’t you be loyal to a single woman? Hmph.”
“Ahaha.” Nathan looked away, his gaze accidentally meeting Neyeid’s. In the end, both of them bumped each other’s fists.
“Anyway, let’s get some rest and continue our journey tomorrow.” Nathan waved his hand embarrassedly, trying to shift the topic.
However, a sharp ringing sound suddenly rang directly into his mind.
“Kh…! Aaahhhhh!” Nathan dropped to the ground and covered his ears with his hands.
“Nathan?!” All of them panicked.
However, Nathan couldn’t hear them due to the ringing sound. More importantly, amidst the ringing sound, he heard a monotonous voice echoing among the ringing sound.
[Come to where the sun is rising.]
“!!!”
