Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1114: The Identity

Chapter 1114: The Identity
[Come to where the sun is rising.]
“!!!” Nathan was stunned. The ringing sound wasn’t painful, but it was definitely too much for his head. Still, he tenured it somehow and shouted, “Who are you?”
“Nathan?”
“Who?”
“What happened?”
The people panicked. They didn’t know what was happening to Nathan. It looked like an enemy attack, but they couldn’t sense anyone around.
The one who would do something like this without anyone noticing was probably the one they were searching for.
Evelyn shouted, “Revon. We probably need to go around and see if we can find something. The enemy might be nearby.”
“Understood.” Revon nodded.
“I will go!” Neyeid and Vivian volunteered right away.
“Wait!” Nathan endured the ringing pain while summoning all his familiars. He could hear the voice talking again.
[I’m the one you’re looking for.]
“You are… Cthulhu?”
“!!!” The moment he called that one name, all the people widened their eyes. They obviously knew the name of the target. It looked like the other party was the one contacting them through Nathan. Even Evelyn couldn’t do something like this. It was clear that Cthulhu was actually stronger than her.
This was dangerous. One wrong step would mean their party’s annihilation. But that decision would be in Nathan’s hands.
Kun, who had telepathy, informed all the divine beasts, with Mae relaying it to everyone.
“Something is entering his mind. A forced connection like telepathy.”
[To think a human child knows me. That makes it easier. Come to me. I don’t want to destroy your mind by continuing the conversation with this method. I will answer all your questions.]
“What a good way to invite someone…” Nathan gritted his teeth excitedly, glaring as though he could see Cthulhu in front of him.
[Come to the coast.]
“…” Nathan almost forgot about this. Cthulhu was supposed to be underwater. In that case, he should have gone around the edge to find Cthulhu.
However, he also considered the possibility of a hidden place on the surface, so he wanted to check. After all, even on Earth, Antarctica holds so many mysteries under the ice. He thought Cthulhu would be one of the many mysteries.
It appeared he should have followed the original. Still, the other party had invited him. It would be better to meet Cthulhu even if it meant endangering his life. There were a lot of things he wanted to ask him.
Once Cthulhu removed the connection, the ringing sound vanished.
“Haa… Ha…” Nathan panted heavily, his whole body drenched in sweat. The toll on his mind just to talk to him was immense.
Kun explained, “It looks like there’s a being stronger than I am at my peak…”
“Yeah. I hate to admit it, but that guy is stronger than I am.” Mae nodded.
“I can definitely defeat it at my peak.” Fenrir snorted.
“There’s no need to argue. All we need to know is that guy is equal to us at our peak. Right now, we’re not at our peak.” Anubis shook his head.
They stopped arguing and turned their heads to Nathan. The rest of the group was also worried about him.
“Nathan?” Vivian checked his body while Charlotte observed him carefully. Fortunately, Anubis confirmed there was no harm to his body.
“Did you really…” Evelyn crossed her arms.
“Yeah.” Nathan nodded. “It looks like our target contacted me. He must have realized our presence on this land. He wants us to come to the coast.”
Nathan pointed in the direction where the sun rose.
“What? He’s at the coast?” Neyeid gasped.
“That kind of distance is impossible, no? If there’s someone who could attack from that far, we would have been wiped out.” Christopher felt chills down his spine.
“This alien is dangerous.” Sonia agreed.
“Even so, I need to meet that alien. If he had wanted to kill us, we would have already died. The fact that he hasn’t killed us means there’s something he wants from us. I’m going to talk to him to find out what he wants.” Nathan shook his head.
They were hesitant. At first, they thought Evelyn would be enough since the alpha class alien was considered to be equal to a world class summoner.
But Evelyn realized this was an alpha class alien who was equal to a divine being like the divine beasts. She hadn’t even condensed her own divinity, so there was no way she stood a chance.
Nathan remained stubborn. “If you don’t want to, that’s fine. I can understand. However, please give me time. I have to talk to this alien. If I don’t return within the time limit, think of me as dead and continue the journey.”
“Is this the mouth that said such a stupid thing?” Evelyn’s expression remained calm as she was pinching both of his cheeks as if trying to punish his mouth. “If you go, we also go. That’s the condition of our trip. We have accepted the risk, and it’s time for us to fulfill our part of the agreement. Don’t underestimate us.”
“Heh. Dying in a fight against an alpha class alien, huh? That sounds romantic.” Revon smirked.
“I should accompany you no matter how dangerous it is.” Vivian nodded.
“An alpha class alien, huh? To think I would be able to confirm that legendary classification with my own eyes. This is an honor even if I end up dying in the process.” Melissa grinned. “It’s not like there’s anything that keeps me living in the world.”
“Let’s go!” Christopher smiled, while Sonia nodded her head.
Neyeid scratched the back of his head. “I’m not planning to die, but I don’t plan to abandon you either. So, we’ll go together with the intention of surviving.”
Nathan smiled. “Thank you.”
“Should we rush there?” Bella asked.
“Of course,” answered Evelyn without hesitation. “It doesn’t mean anything whether we conserve our strength or not against such an opponent. Rather than wasting our time making preparations, it’s better to be fast and not let the other party prepare more than he needs. If all of you are ready, I’ll teleport us right away.”
They exchanged nods as Nathan ultimately said, “We’re ready. Let’s go.”
“All right.” Evelyn clapped her hands, forming a teleportation circle.
In the blink of an eye, their scenery changed. All of a sudden, they were standing near the edge of the ice wall. They could see the sea from their place.
But Evelyn’s hair instantly turned white the moment they arrived. She stepped forth while releasing her ena, facing the sea.
The water was gradually rising. It wasn’t just a small column of water. It looked as if the entire sea was rising.
“Something big is coming!”
