Chapter 1221: Second Element
[In exchange for 100,000 ena, the contract will become an entity that contains 100% of Nathan’s Reckmoon element. This contract can be turned ON and OFF by saying, ’Time Element On’ or ’Time Element Off.’ This contract can be dissolved by saying, ’Time Element Core Unseal.’]
[In exchange for 100,000 ena, the contract will become ten channels that direct the input and output of Nathan Reckmoon’s Time Element, with each gate capable of transporting 10% of the output. The user is able to change its output by saying, ’Time Element Flow X%’ with X being a multiple of 10.]
Once the first contract was activated, Nathan could feel that his time element was being contained completely. It was the same as his karma. It didn’t go out of the container, but that didn’t mean Nathan was losing it.
Since everything looked fine, he activated the second contract, which made the channel for his time element.
“Time Element Flow 10%.” Nathan tested the contract right away. The channel was opened, and Nathan could feel the time element flowing out of it. “Hmm… Check this, Mae. No, Qilin!”
Nathan summoned Qilin, who was the master of balance.
“I’m done with the setup, Qilin. How is it?” Nathan asked.
Qilin examined Nathan carefully before giving a few instructions. “Can you release your time element with your ena? Then, use one of your Time Magic. Then, turn off the container so that the core can boost its power.”
Nathan followed his instructions. As expected, the power of the time element weakened due to the container. When he used the Time Magic, even Nathan could feel how ineffective it had become.
However, the moment he turned off the container, the power returned to normal.
“There’s no problem right now.” Qilin nodded. “At least, you don’t have to worry about it collapsing. Still, has Mae told you about the contract collapse?”
“Yes. Once my elemental power grows, it has the chance to collapse.”
Qilin confirmed. “In that case, you should be able to sense it. And you have to create a new one before the old one breaks.”
“Understood.”
“Since there’s no problem, you can continue.” Qilin gave his permission as his eyes glanced at the device on the table.
“Got it.” Nathan took a deep breath, calming him down. This was the second element after all. Evelyn had two elements, and they almost killed her, so Nathan had to be careful.

Once it was completed, the contract emitted a faint golden light and gradually disappeared into thin air. The energy gradually moved into Nathan’s chest.
“…” Nathan couldn’t help but grit his teeth as the excruciating pain spread throughout his body as if an invisible dagger were etching something in his heart.
Still, like the first time he awakened the time element source, the space element manifested by creating a phenomenon.
“!!!” Nathan was taken aback. He could see a lot of things. When he blinked, it felt like the world was flipping. It was as if the world were submerged in pink liquid. This liquid was flowing freely, which made him feel nauseated. No, it wasn’t flowing. It was actually a distortion.

“Master?” Mae examined his body, worried that something had happened to him.
“It’s done.” Qilin, on the other hand, confirmed. “The element source has been formed, and it flows perfectly. The placement is perfect as well. If you are able to do the same thing for this space element, you should be able to use the elements like Kun and Peng.”
“Nothing happened… Should I be happy?” Nathan smiled wryly.
“Are you expecting something?” Qilin didn’t know what Nathan was talking about.
“In the past, he almost died when creating the element source because of a voice,” explained Mae. “Now that I think about it, you haven’t gotten any dreams ever since you acquired your time element, Master. Is that actually the reason?”
“Ah!” Nathan started to connect the dots of his current condition.
“It’s indeed possible. I have heard about your case from Fenrir. Since the space element doesn’t do anything to you, that means the theory is correct.
“That voice, that dream… It’s something related to the living. In other words, it might be the original Nathan or you but in a different timeline.
“The only way to connect it was through the time element. Thanks to you having the time element, it causes a crack in the wall between timelines, which allows a portion of it to leak to this timeline. It can be said that the time element core patches the hole entirely.
“That’s why the space element doesn’t react. Whatever it is, it doesn’t involve the space element.”
“I see…” Nathan looked down. He got the gist of his condition. The fact that he managed to acquire the space element was good, but he was a bit curious about that memory. It might contain information that he needed.
“So, can you somehow extract the information, Qilin?”
