Chapter 1330: Sigil
The black cell ran amok in Frequency’s body.
Frequency suddenly disappeared from their vision.
“!!!” Nathan, Anubis, and Qilin widened their eyes. The moment the black cell enveloped his arms and legs, his speed became so fast that they almost couldn’t follow his movements anymore.
Nathan hurriedly threw his body to the right side.
“Aaarrgghhh!” He screamed as Frequency actually cut his arm off. The power from that sword ran forward and left a deep mark on the ground. This sword cut alone might be able to reach from one wall to another wall in the base.
Nathan forcefully shifted his center of gravity and kicked him from the side. However, Frequency caught his legs. The black cell on his arm turned it into a blade, forcing Nathan to use the void distortion on his own foot to throw it back.
Seeing this chance, Frequency kicked him in the stomach. The impact almost caused his organs to explode.
Blood simply came out of Nathan’s mouth uncontrollably.
Yet, despite his injury, Nathan was able to grab his severed arm that was still in the air. He then put it on his severed part as Anubis sent forth a bandage.
The bandage and the healing ability reattached the arm in just two seconds, which shocked Frequency even further. This kind of healing ability could practically heal anyone as long as they weren’t dead.
In other words, he should destroy Nathan’s limbs to oblivion or kill Nathan in a single hit.
In the end, this was also Anubis’ current limit. His divinity wasn’t high enough to regrow a completely new arm.
Nathan was completely in a situation where he could die at any moment. The others couldn’t help him.
Regina looked like she was about to kill Ellenwood, but she probably needed at least a few more minutes before defeating him.
Nathan would have died before that.
Jinwu and Mae were struggling so hard against the assassin. It looked like the assassin was determined to kill the two of them first. After all, he believed Frequency could take care of Nathan.
As long as Jinwu and Mae died, he would stay there to confirm Nathan’s death before reporting the success. He would probably not join the fight afterward because he was afraid Frequency might kill him as well.
Fenrir, Nidhogg, Orochi, and Peng were not in good condition either. Thanks to their divinity, they were able to stop their respective enemies, but the situation wasn’t in their favor.

Surprisingly, Xolotl was able to stop two opponents by himself, especially with one of them being Frequency’s lifebound familiar.
Thanks to his new domain, he managed to achieve such a feat, but it was due to his complicated domain. If the enemies figured out his domain, he would be at a disadvantage soon.
It looked like Nathan couldn’t do anything in this situation. He had to think of a way to survive for at least a few minutes.
’Should I use my Soul Contract? How am I going to use my Soul Contract to get away from this? There are some contracts to activate the short-range teleportation, but Frequency might interrupt it.
’No one can help me. The communication ring is also out of the question. Frequency’s power was simply something I could never expect.
’If I can fool him for a moment…’ Nathan suddenly thought of not just one way but two ways of creating that chance.
The first one was to give his ena to one of his familiars. But this plan might not work because he only had 5 million ena. He thought about sending his ena to one of his familiars to reach the next big unlock of their divinity, which was at 10 million ena.
But the most his familiars had was 4 million ena. He couldn’t transfer what his familiar had after his test with Fenrir the moment he learned about this Soul Contract.
So, there could only be a second way.
He could probably use the Soul Contract to make a deal with the world, such as asking the world to stop Frequency just for a few seconds. With the world’s power, it might be possible.
The biggest problem with this plan was the fact Frequency wouldn’t allow him to establish the contract.
In the end, the contract would take a lot of time because he hadn’t prepared such a contract beforehand.
It would also expose his unique ability, but that was his least priority since he couldn’t even keep his life.
The two plans in his head were simply too hard to accomplish. There was no way they were going to work, so Nathan was completely out of options.
He thought about defeating the other assassin so that Jinwu and Mae could join the battle, but Frequency’s current power wouldn’t allow him to do so.
Besides, he had seen the first trick, so Frequency would be more vigilant of that kind of plan.
Nathan gritted his teeth. He didn’t know how to escape anymore. Even so, he wouldn’t be scared of dying.
If he were going to die, he would at least drag the opponent down with him. He wouldn’t be pleading for his life.
Now that dying was a possibility, he wondered how to turn back time. He didn’t know this. His contract might have the ability, but he hadn’t found the way yet. His skill wasn’t at the level of turning back time as well.
