Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1483: Singularity Descent

Chapter 1483: Singularity Descent
“It looks like I have arrived on time.” Nathan smiled.
“Yeah.” Evelyn nodded. “This is going to be hard.”
“Get ready. I don’t know how strong he has become.” Luna’s expression turned solemn.
The Godfather raised his hand, his eyes had turned completely black, including his sclera. The energy that came out of his body had become much more otherworldly.
It was clearly something that didn’t exist in this world.
The energy density kept increasing, making them feel threatened.
“Something is coming! We have to stop him!” Luna warned them out loud.
She raised her hand, creating multiple magic circles. “Magic God Rakusha’s 50th formation, Obliterating Cannon!”
Evelyn tried to change the gravity from each part, causing the gravity to flow in multiple directions. Anything that touched it would feel as if their body were being ripped apart.
“Gravity Distortion!”
Xolotl also noticed this power. “This is really bad. The black cell might be using its own body to turn that mortal body into a divine body. It is using the life force of humans to fuel that divine body. This person might really be the strongest in the world.”
Nathan’s expression turned solemn. “We’re going too.”
“Yeah.”
Nathan formed a bullet on top of his hand. This bullet was blue in color, but it was suddenly dyed black as a mutation formed on the bullet.
The bullet had finally been imbued with the space element to resemble the void bullet, but at the same time, it carried Xolotl’s death divinity.
Nathan then used his space element to teleport the bullet to the Godfather.
“Oh. This looks extremely bad.” Garuda suddenly came.
“Garuda?” Nathan was startled by his appearance.
“I’m sorry, Master. We have to change our plan.” Garuda’s expression turned solemn.
Garuda didn’t say anything else, as he had to channel his energy into his umbrella.
Looking at the three incoming attacks, the Godfather simply harrumphed. “Know your place.”
Suddenly, the claw-like wings on his back expanded and spread wide. The eye-like patterns suddenly looked like they were wide open.
“Singularity Descent!”
The eyes released purple light. With all eyes releasing the same amount of light, the light itself ended up covering the whole city.
The light was not an ordinary light. Upon contact, the victims would feel their bodies burning from the inside.
Nathan, Evelyn, and Luna’s attacks were also experiencing the same thing. The ena was incinerated from the inside.
Without ena, they vanished into thin air.
Even with the combined power of Nathan, Evelyn, and Luna, they still couldn’t stop this attack by themselves.
Nathan never felt so helpless before. This kind of power. He might not be able to do anything without the help of Xolotl.
No, even with Xolotl’s aid, there was no guarantee that a single hit from him could even injure the Godfather.
It was no wonder the black cell chose him to be its emissary.
“Aaahhhh!” The people in the town were screaming in pain as their bodies started to vanish.
Hundreds of fights and almost a thousand civilians probably died in the first attack.
Other high-level fighters were able to use their ena to somehow protect themselves, but the power drained their strength significantly.
The attack didn’t discriminate between friends or foes. Everything that was considered living would be affected by it.
Still, Garuda must have expected this level of power beforehand. Just one second after activation, Garuda’s umbrella expanded, sheltering the entire town from the light.
As expected, the light was burning the umbrella, but the light eventually died down without being able to break through the umbrella’s defense.
Garuda bit his lip. “That hurts.”
To maintain the defense, he exerted a bit too much of his power and his internal condition didn’t look good.
However, Garuda simply sipped the nectar of immortality to heal himself. The umbrella also returned to its original size, and Garuda poured that nectar into it, allowing the umbrella to regenerate its body.
“Brother. You might have to step up your game,” Garuda warned Xolotl.
“Yeah.” Xolotl agreed.
“Master. Let’s switch our plan,” continued Garuda. “Xolotl and I will accompany you in this fight. The rest will have to focus on this guy’s familiars. Once they’re done, we can swarm him and take him down.”
Xolotl added, “No. Let little Fen Fen fight as well. Your power is necessary here.”
“Understood!” Nathan confirmed the adjustment. “Anubis, we want you to focus on healing.”
“Got it.” Anubis knew that even if he used his ability to weaken the Godfather, it might still be better to use that energy to heal instead.
Nathan looked around, realizing the reason Frequency was fighting him outside the town. Some were right outside the town, but Frequency was much farther away.
It looked like the Godfather had planned this from the beginning. Even if he used it, he didn’t want Frequency to be affected.
However, whatever his plan was, Nathan had ruined it by killing Frequency.
“We are here!” Fortunately, before they even began the fight, Henry and Ternius had arrived.
“!!!” Luna took a glimpse of the coffin and confirmed that her brother had been captured.
“This is insane.” Ternius let out a hollow laugh. “To think that this guy has become this strong in such a short period. No one could go against him if we let him be for a few more years…”
It looked like their choice in supporting Nathan was actually the correct one.
“You two.” Nathan’s expression turned grim. “I might have to ask both of you to use your powers to defend the town. We are expecting a total loss if we are not careful.”
“Well, that’s true.” Ternius didn’t like the arrangement, but he understood that Nathan cared about his group. If protecting them would allow him to focus, it might be a good idea.
After all, Nathan was someone who could kill Frequency that quickly.
“I’ll do that. I’ll protect this coffin as well while I’m at it,” Henry agreed.
“Thanks.” Nathan nodded.
Ternius and Henry immediately jumped away.
“We can’t afford to worry about others anymore. Let’s do this,” said Nathan to Luna and Evelyn.
