Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1489: Unexpected Attack

Chapter 1489: Unexpected Attack
“Space-Time Destruction!”
Nathan activated this ability and targeted specifically at the space in front of the wand.
According to the knowledge from the skill itself, Nathan knew that the Time Destruction could destroy a particular timeline.
For example, he could destroy the timeline of the staff swing, which caused the swing to never happen.
Of course, the other party could use their own power to negate it to a certain extent.
That was why Nathan modified it so that it would incorporate both of his elements, with the time element at the center.
Instead of one’s timeline, he created a space with the space element. This would become the zone where the particular timeline was destroyed.
When Nathan activated this ability, he would deny the activation of the energy itself.
Bam!
The Space-Time energy collided with the purple light energy. The purple light dispersed due to the effect of his Space-Time Destruction, but as one would expect from the Godfather, he still wouldn’t let the energy disperse that easily.
“!!!” The Godfather was quite surprised that Nathan could achieve something at this level. It would have been too much for Nathan to stop his attack if it had been activated. So, Nathan actually hit his power before it was fully released.
He could create a faint or something, but Nathan had chosen the ability he deemed to be more important than the Space-Time Destruction, the Chrono Vision.
Thanks to the eye ability, no feint would work. He would know his every move so he could stop him before the Godfather had the chance to attack him.
Of course, the Godfather could move faster than him or move out of range, but Nathan planned to maintain the close distance.
Still, this distance was also quite stressful for Nathan. If he lowered his guard slightly, the Godfather could simply outspeed him physically, even with the help of Garuda, the fastest familiar he currently had.
“I will try my best to stop him. You two. Focus on attacking him!” Nathan shouted.
Luna and Evelyn didn’t know what Nathan had done, but it looked like he was confident to do it.
They nodded their heads.
Xolotl and Fenrir positioned themselves in the distance.
Anubis had been observing closely, knowing that one mistake could kill Nathan.
“Peasants!” The Godfather roared and rushed toward Nathan.
Nathan’s Chrono Vision captured the incoming Godfather. Even though it was still blurry, he still managed to see it and react at the last moment.
The space domain erased his existence in that spot and brought the existence back in another spot, allowing him to avoid the Godfather’s grasp.
As if expecting this level of reaction, the Godfather released his ability right after.
Since Nathan had just used the space domain, he shouldn’t be able to use his ability.
But there was one thing he missed. Nathan might have used his ability, but he had foreseen the situation.
That was why an umbrella appeared in front of him, which bought him enough time to gather another power.
Nathan used this power to create a void bullet. The void bullet teleported to the Godfather’s side and exploded.
The Godfather used the black cell to withstand the blast.
Nathan had become capable of not only stopping his attack but also fighting back.
Luna and Evelyn also released their attacks at the same time. Since Nathan could finally stop the Godfather, Evelyn switched her role.
Evelyn expanded her domain so that it would reach the Godfather. Then, she would distort the area around the Godfather to restrict his movement.
Then, Melody would send out her powerful cannon.
“Kh.” The Godfather gritted his teeth. “Do you think this is enough to stop me?!”
The black cell suddenly flared up again to withstand the power, but due to him focusing on Nathan a little bit too much, he failed to stop her cannon.
The cannon ultimately blasted him to the ground, creating a massive and deep hole in the ground.
This might be the first time they could deal so much damage to him. If they kept this up, they might be able to kill him.
Nathan, Luna, and Evelyn landed on the ground, encircling the hole where the Godfather was.
Fenrir was waiting for the perfect chance to devour the Godfather or the black cell while Xolotl had reactivated his domain.
Xolotl concentrated his power and raised his hand. “Divine Punishment.”
The black lightning struck down again, this time carrying even more power. Although Xolotl’s power was not flashy, it was incredibly solid and packed a lot of power.
Just a simple ’Divine Punishment’ could actually rival the power of Luna’s cannon.
However, an eruption of black cell occurred. The black cell was pouring out of the cracks nearby and formed a dome.
At the same time, they heard multiple screams across the entire city.
“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes while looking around.
“Not good!” Xolotl was not talking about the fact that the black cell stopped his attack. Instead, he was talking about the fact that he sensed countless deaths all around the area. “Watch out. He’s doing something big!”
Nathan was startled, but it looked like the Godfather had taken Nathan’s ability into account.
Suddenly, a massive purple eye made purely of light formed in the sky. It was looking at the whole city.
“I can hear everything, including all your thoughts.” The Godfather’s voice sent chills down their spines.
Nathan raised his eyebrows. The fact that he could hear the black cell alone was already amazing, but he could hear things that were not spoken?
When he heard it, Nathan realized how the Godfather had been dominating the battlefield the whole time.
Whenever they wanted to attack, their brains would program their attack. If the Godfather could also hear their thoughts, it meant Nathan’s plan had been exposed.
It was no wonder he sent Frequency. This was how he was able to figure out his trump card.
Nathan should have figured it out beforehand, as he had already read at least one story with this kind of ability.
However, it was too late. The eye had been fully activated as the purple light descended.
“Die, mortals!”
