Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1494: Not Alone

Chapter 1494: Not Alone
“I finally got all of you!”
“!!!” Nathan’s body shook. The smoke had cleared up before they could attack. It was then that he realized why the damage they dealt was so significant.
The Godfather was truly on his last moment. His body was tattered, the black cell couldn’t support him anymore, and his body had stopped regenerating.
As Nathan said, one last strike, and he would be finished.
Yet, the real reason the Godfather was in this sorry state was not because he took the hit from Luna. It was because he didn’t release anything to endure the hit from Luna.
In other words, he took the full brunt of that attack with only his physical body.
The Godfather had already concentrated his power and was ready to unleash it. He knew that Nathan would come one more time to kill him.
His goal was never about survival. It was to kill Nathan. In other words, it didn’t matter if he died in the process.
Nathan’s face turned pale. This was the first time he had seen someone this crazy. The Chrono Vision couldn’t capture anything because he simply gathered his power, not using it. That was why Chrono Vision only saw him standing still.
When Nathan and the others were about to gather their energy to unleash their respective attacks, the Godfather had already finished gathering his power.
He raised his wand as a massive eye formed. This time, the eye was much bigger and had even more energy.
It was most likely that the Godfather had used everything he had left to reinforce this power. He gave all his life force to the black cell, leaving him only a small portion of life force to confirm Nathan’s death.
“My God. Please grant me your strength so that I can smite my enemies. Die!” The Godfather grinned at Nathan as if everything had gone according to his plan. There was a relief on his face, as if he had fulfilled his mission in this world.
Evelyn and the others panicked. They hadn’t gathered enough power to stop an attack of this caliber. Even if they could prevent themselves from dying, all the people inside the city would definitely die.
“No…” Nathan raised the umbrella as Garuda expanded it.
However, the purple light had shone upon them, illuminating the entire city.
“Gah!” Nathan instantly spurted blood, as he and Garuda didn’t have enough power to block this power. The purple light extinguished the umbrella in an instant.
“Get up!” Luna clapped her hands as a massive magic circle formed, withstanding the light like an umbrella. Still, its fate was the same.
It was destroyed, including the Infinite Sphere as well as her golems.
“Aaahhhh!” Luna screamed in pain as her body was hit by the light directly.
Fenrir had expanded his Absolute Force, but it still couldn’t do anything against the light.
“Kh.” Fenrir ground his teeth as blood couldn’t help but leak out of his mouth and eyes.
Evelyn had also used the domain to concentrate the light into one spot so that they could avoid it, but the power from the light was probably the strongest they had ever faced.
The light melted her domain. She raised her arms, trying to block the light.
Xolotl had also activated his domain. The sky turned red, the ground turned into a pool of blood.
Unfortunately, the red sky turned purple right after as it evaporated all the blood on the ground, ultimately breaking his domain.
“Kh.” Xolotl bit his lip. He could definitely survive this attack, but Nathan’s body started to disappear. Even Garuda wouldn’t be able to withstand this attack since he wasn’t specialized in defense.
He had to save Nathan if he wanted to survive. But if this continued, not only they, but also all the people in the entire city would die.
“Hahahaha. I am the victor!” The Godfather laughed hysterically. “Let me witness your end, lowly humans!”
Nathan closed one eye, enduring the intense light. He didn’t know if he was in pain anymore.
’Think. Think. I need to figure out how to escape from this situation.’ Nathan couldn’t help but recall what happened when they besieged the cults.
At that time, the Death Society chose to blow up everything, resulting in massive damage to both sides.
It looked like Frequency learned it from him. The Godfather chose to sacrifice everything so that the battle could, at worst, end in mutual destruction.
’I need something.’ Nathan continuously racked his brain, trying to find a solution. The only way to escape was through his Soul Contract.
But in this condition, he wasn’t so sure whether he could make a contract that could stop this attack.
He might be able to escape alive, but Evelyn and Luna would probably die here. It was a result he couldn’t accept.
’I…’ Before Nathan made his decision, Anubis’ divine power suddenly filled the entire area.
“Judgment!”
His domain enveloped the entire city as if he had used all the remaining power he currently had to erect this domain so that it would last at least a few seconds before the light destroyed it.
“Go!” Anubis’ voice echoed in everyone’s ears.
Suddenly, Nathan, Luna, Evelyn, Fenrir, and Xolotl found themselves grabbed by someone from behind.
“!!!” Nathan widened his eyes in shock. The next thing he realized, he had been dragged outside the city by Regina. “You… the city…”
Not only Regina, but also Ternius, Henry, Revon, and Melissa had brought Luna and the others outside the city during the few seconds that Anubis gave them.
“There’s no way we will let you have all the glory.” Regina smiled.
Before Nathan could say anything, he suddenly heard two people spitting blood.
“!!!”
The two who received internal injuries were actually Gaia and Bella.
“Huh?”
The Godfather was the one who could see what was going on in the city.
When his light destroyed Anubis’ domain, the people that were still inside the city actually disappeared, not because they evaporated from the inside, but because they were formed by ena and that ena had been melted by him.
In other words, they were nothing but a lump of ena, not actual humans.
Bella coughed up blood a few times, but she still smiled. “Go, Nathan. Kill him!”
“!!!” Nathan suddenly thought of one possibility. Bella actually enveloped the entire city with her illusion, making it look like it was still inhabited by the actual humans. To make it more believable, Gaia used her own power to give life to each of them, fooling the Godfather himself.
Their entire action always meant one thing. The complete evacuation of the city.
Nathan’s expression darkened. It was as if Bella had told him something. “I might not be able to fight like you, Evelyn, or Luna. But I can definitely fight alongside you.”
Nathan gritted his teeth as he released the last bit of ena from his body. “One more time!”
