Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1515: Number One Sword

Chapter 1515: Number One Sword
The Sword Saint had actually arrived. His sword strike was so powerful that the alien had no choice but to jump back, its hand gradually regenerating.
Bam!
The Sword Saint violently landed in front of Noelle, positioning himself so that the alien couldn’t reach her.
His face was red due to anger. Veins were bulging on his face. His thoughts were apparent on his face. He definitely wanted to kill this alien as brutally as possible.
“Grandfather!” Noelle bit her lips. She had boasted about her strength before, but she never thought she would be in such a miserable state.
If not for her grandfather, there was no telling what would happen.
“This man… I never saw him using his power before, but…” Amphitrite sucked a cold breath.
“Yeah.” Lilith nodded. “He also possesses the power of rule. But it’s only one rule. It looks like that power of rule has been unsheathed the whole time…”
Both of them couldn’t help but recognize where the power came from. It was from his sword.
The Sword Saint had trained his sword to perfection. That was why no one had ever seen it before. After all, they had never seen the Sword Saint launching a sword strike with all his might.
It was no wonder why he was the marshal of the empire and also known as one of the strongest human beings.
If they were talking simply about his quality as a swordsman without adding the familiars into the equation, he would be the strongest person. Unfortunately, the Sword Saint had fully dedicated his life to the way of a sword, which caused him to have no familiars to back him up.
The Sword Saint also realized this, especially after seeing the incoming aliens.
Sullivan said with a stern tone. “There is no need to retreat yet. I will hold back this alien. If you are still able to move, you should start killing the incoming aliens. We can’t afford to have a massive outbreak that will be led by this alien.”
Selena understood Sullivan’s plan. By eliminating the rest of the aliens, they could retreat and find reinforcement. If this alien chose to come, they could work together and take it down.
Hence, it was better to follow the Sword Saint’s order this time.
Selena immediately gave a new arrangement. “Alavenya, you take the right side. I will take the left side. The three of you, fully focus on your recovery. Once you’re done, Noelle will go with me, while Flora and Sera will assist Alavenya.”
All of them acknowledged the order without hesitation.
Selena then charged forward. “Let’s go!”
Amphitrite and Lilith were still quite worried.
“Is this going to be fine? I’m not entirely sure.” Amphitrite squinted her eyes. “Based on my experience, he won’t be able to win.”
Lilith asked, “Should we help him?”
“No.” Selena shook her head. “Don’t forget that there is supposed to be another elite class alien in here. We have to deal with that alien.”
“Oh!” Lilith and Amphitrite forgot about this alien.
Still, that also meant they had to rely on Sullivan.
However, it looked like Lilith and Amphitrite and Lilith had actually underestimated Sullivan.
When Sullivan and the alpha class alien approached each other, Sullivan’s strength soared as he raised his sword.
The alien also punched Sullivan with all its strength, while Sullivan took it head-on with his blade.
The clash caused the ground to shake violently.
Even though Sullivan only possessed one rule, his strength was actually equal to the alien’s.
No, he might be stronger.
After all, his sword actually sliced through the alien’s defense and ultimately split the arm in the middle.
“!!!” The alien was surprised by this exchange as well.
It sped up and punched Sullivan multiple times, but Sullivan matched his movement perfectly.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Ultimately, the alien punched the ground, causing Sullivan to back off to avoid the flying rocks.
The alien was lowering its arms as if it had a hard time moving them. After all, the arms were covered in wounds.
Amphitrite and Lilith couldn’t help but drop their jaws.
“What is that man?”
“His mastery of the sword has actually surpassed the power of rules?”
Sullivan raised his sword again while taking a deep breath. It had been a very long time since he had had to unleash his full power.
He thought he wouldn’t be able to use all his power again after reaching this stage.
…
“Are you not bored swinging your sword all the time?” Vanessa asked.
“Hmm? I have never thought about it. I have been swinging my sword 10,000 times every day without fail. It’s been five years now. If I don’t swing that much, my hands will be quite itchy.” Sullivan chuckled. “So, if you ask me if I’m bored or not, I guess I’m pretty happy.”
“I can’t really fathom your dedication.” Vanessa shook her head helplessly. “But I guess that’s why it’s not really that boring to watch you.”
“Huh? What?”
Vanessa just smiled without saying another word.
Sullivan continued to improve his swing. When he first trained like this, it took him 2 days to complete it.
After a year, he swung fast enough that he could finish it in one day.
Then, after all these years, he finally lowered it down to 16 hours.
During those 16 hours, Vanessa would be with him. Yes, she would be sitting beside him, reading books or whatever she planned that day, to accompany him.
In the end, he cut down that time again for a few hours, allowing him to spend more time with Vanessa.
His swing hadn’t changed, but its purpose had changed. A swing to protect.
Sullivan raised his sword again. Both he and the alien approached each other.
When Sullivan thought that this brute strength would encroach upon his land and degenerate everything he wished to protect, anger burst from his heart.
’There’s no way I will let this brute succeed.’ Sullivan made the same swing that he had done for decades. “King Sword.”
The alien punched the sword again, but this time, the blade actually cut the alien’s arm so easily.
