Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1539: Finishing the Evolution

Chapter 1539: Finishing the Evolution
“His name is Bishamonten. I’m not sure if I spelled it correctly.” Nathan raised one finger. “He is the God of War as well as one of the seven lucky gods.
“He is portrayed to have a spear in one hand and a pagoda in the other. That’s all.”
Noelle looked down. If it were indeed a fierce warrior, it might really suit her. Still, she looked at Xolotl first.
After getting his teaching for the past two weeks, she had completely trusted Xolotl.
Xolotl nodded, showing his approval. This lucky god would definitely suit Noelle. First of all, it wasn’t considered an evil god.
Its strength might be quite strong, although it might not reach the true god level.
But even Nathan couldn’t confirm whether Bishamonten could be considered a true god or not from his legend.
Nathan could only check him after Noelle summoned him. Even if he wasn’t, he could still help him.
In the end, Bishamonten’s role would be to support Noelle, so as long as that role was fulfilled, he didn’t care whether he was a true god or not.
Noelle took a deep breath before nodding her head. “All right. I will summon him next. But I need to wait until I have enough ena first.”
“Don’t worry. Everyone who is planning to summon their next familiar is having the same issues. Soon, I’m planning to hold an expedition. I haven’t made the exact plan, but I’m thinking about splitting our group into two or three, depending on everyone’s performance.”
“Where are we going?”
“The Asura Palace.”
Noelle contemplated. “I see. The Asura Palace is extremely wide, so if we don’t split up, we won’t be able to find everything about them.”
“Yeah. That’s the idea,” confirmed Nathan. The Asura Palace was the biggest kingdom in the past, so he had to split up if he wanted to stick to the schedule. “I will be holding a meeting to discuss the details later.”
“I understand.”
“As for your familiar, do you want me to upgrade them?” Nathan asked.
Noelle looked down, contemplating. On the one hand, she wanted to evolve them. On the other hand, she didn’t plan to evolve all of them.
Due to her past mistake, she believed she had to salvage her situation by not summoning several of her familiars anymore.
First of all, she was a bit obsessed with her grandfather’s path, so she didn’t pick her familiars seriously. It was enough to make her strong, but it wasn’t enough to let her get to the top.
She might currently have the advantage, but that advantage would soon vanish if she didn’t make this hard decision.
So, Noelle thought about only three of her familiars. The first one was obvious, the lifebound familiar, Duke Murmur. Duke Murmur had agreed to become her weapon, but in exchange, he wanted to evolve into a much more powerful demon. And Nathan was the key to his evolution.
Why would he care about serving someone for a while if that made him stronger? He could endure that much.
The second familiar would be the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. This horseman, who represented war, would definitely become a powerful familiar. It could be said that this horseman already possessed a rule themselves that would reflect in their divinity.
So, if Nathan could evolve the horseman, he might become a deity very soon.
The last familiar would be the dullahan. This familiar was her fourth familiar, who had been accompanying her for quite some time. His ena was also quite high.
So, it would be a waste to abandon them.
Unfortunately, she had to cast aside the other familiars. She hadn’t concentrated her efforts enough on them, so it would be easier for her to summon a couple more familiars for her future progress.
Nathan could evolve them as well, but he understood why Noelle reached that conclusion.
“I will evolve the three of them if possible, but Duke Murmur is probably similar to the ancient spirit. In fact, the dullahan should be the only one that requires evolution right now. The other two need the power of rules first before attempting evolution.”
Noelle nodded in understanding. “If that’s your decision, then please proceed that way.”
“Also, thank you, Noelle.” Nathan abruptly smiled.
“Thank me? For what?” Noelle tilted her head in confusion.
“I knew that the girls became so strong because you gave up a portion of your share for them. You might think it was just because you didn’t have enough familiars, but in a way, you could always store these cores and take them out once you meet me.
“The fact that you didn’t do it meant you’d been helping them in the process. So, I’m grateful for your help.” Nathan smiled.
Noelle was surprised, but Nathan wasn’t wrong. She had indeed given a portion of her cores to the others.
“But for now, please take your share properly. If you want to get stronger, you will need them.”
Noelle had to agree with him. She only had three working familiars, and if Duke Murmur ended up in crystal form, it meant she could only rely on the dullahan and the war horseman.
She didn’t plan to summon many familiars, but she definitely would like to have at least two more to stabilize her position.
Bishamonten would be the first one, so she urgently needed the cores.
“I understand.” Noelle didn’t reject Nathan’s suggestion. After knowing the path to the ultimate sword, she definitely needed more ena.
“Good.” Nathan was satisfied. “Now, let’s evolve your familiar, shall we?”
Nathan continued with the evolution of Alavenya’s familiars first before proceeding to the dullahan.
It took a while, but he managed to handle all the business before the day ended. This way, Nathan could start working on other problems.
He was especially concerned about the meeting with Elysion. He didn’t know what kind of information he possessed.
Since he was also someone with the three Death Gods, he didn’t know whether he possessed a method to resurrect the dead or not.
It would become troublesome if he noticed that the original Nathan had died and the current Nathan had possessed his body. He couldn’t imagine how he would react.
