Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts - Chapter 1545: Elysion

Chapter 1545: Elysion
“Are you sure about this?” Evelyn asked. “Is there no way for me to talk you out of this?”
Luna tilted her head in confusion. “Who is Elysion Aquamoon?”
“The strongest person on this continent. We don’t know whether this person is stronger than the Godfather or not.”
Listening to Evelyn’s explanation, it seemed that meeting him was a big deal.
Luna thought for a moment before raising one finger. “I think it will be all right. We can at least escape from him in case anything happens.”
“Well, I know your worries, but I think it will be fine.” Nathan waved his hand, reassuring her. “If he doesn’t intend to talk to me, there’s no reason for him to show that kind of intention from the beginning.”
“Still…” Evelyn frowned. She had been compared to Elysion a lot. Although this was a chance to prove who was better, it didn’t mean she planned to take a risk for such an insignificant thing.
Luna asked, “If you are so against it, you probably need to put more effort into stopping him. However, you don’t seem to be all that against this decision.”
Evelyn was also curious to a certain extent, but this was simply too dangerous. They were not prepared for a war against Elysion Aquamoon.
Nathan nodded. “She is right. Besides, I have both of you with me.”
“Have you told your girls about this?”
“I have. They’re fine with my decision,” confirmed Nathan.
“It’s a calculated risk, Evelyn. You know him.” Luna pointed at Nathan.
Evelyn let out a long sigh. It looked like she couldn’t convince him anymore. She could only prepare for a war in case Elysion Aquamoon decided to attack them first.
“Anyway, let’s go.” Nathan wanted to use his teleportation, but Evelyn stopped him. “I will do it.”
He could understand Evelyn’s worry. Unlike what happened with the Death Society, they didn’t have much information about Elysion Aquamoon.
It was very hard to draw any conclusion as to whether he was a good guy or a bad guy. So, anything could happen, and this time without much preparation.
Once they had teleported far enough, Evelyn stopped. “You wait. I won’t accept any objections.”
Without waiting for his reply, Evelyn drew a teleportation magic circle on the ground.
Then, she teleported somewhere else, most likely to draw another teleportation circle.
“Safety nets.” Luna agreed with this one. “We don’t have much information and preparation, so you should agree with that, right? If you choose to go ahead, I’ll be the one to stop you.”
Nathan smiled wryly. “I know. Don’t worry.”
Nathan thought it would be fine because Elysion Aquamoon was his teacher, at least in one of his previous lives.
If he had died and reincarnated with that memory, there was no reason for him to attack.
He wanted to know any information about the original Nathan or even the current Nathan, him.
After all, there was a chance that he replaced the original Nathan along the way and erased this memory for one reason or another.
Going to him was to prove the theory. This was what he really needed in order to confront the aliens.
So, even if everyone objected to it, Nathan would still meet Elysion.
Evelyn returned thirty minutes later. It looked like she drew at least ten teleportation circles around the new Land of Death.
Even though it was known as the Land of Death, it was different from the old Land of Death where the Asura Palace was standing.
This Land of Death was located on the north of the continent. It was tainted with death energy, probably because of the power he had.
On the other hand, the Land of Death that the Asura Palace was known for was filled with war and blood. There were many dead bodies that had fallen to that place, so many that they gave the land such a name.
It looked like the entire land was actually Elysion’s domain.
He stretched his domain as far as possible. Although he didn’t know the purpose, it was definitely related to his ability.
Xolotl and Anubis were also called to inspect the land, but they couldn’t get anything out of it.
So, once Evelyn returned, they continued their trip.
Elysion resided in a huge mansion deep inside his domain. This mansion, surprisingly, didn’t contain any death energy. There were still trees that didn’t wither and lands that could produce crops.
There were many skeletons and zombies that were somehow dressed like that of a human.
They were tending the garden and plowing the field. It was as if countless Luna’s golems were doing the same thing.
Nathan carefully observed the entire mansion. He had the Chrono Vision, so he might still be able to see one or two seconds into the future.
As if realizing their arrival, one of the skeletons actually walked toward them.
“!!!” Nathan and the others raised their guards.
However, the skeleton raised one finger and started writing with its ena.
“I have expected you to come. Please come in.” The skeleton then bowed politely like a butler.
“…” Luna blinked her eyes a few times before thinking, ’Maybe I should make my golems very cute. They’re already like a maid, but they might need a little bit of personality in the future…’
She was probably the only one having such a relaxed thought.
Nathan and Evelyn had been on their guard as they followed the skeleton.
The latter guided them to the deepest part of the mansion. It was a small hall with nothing but pillars.
A man stood on the opposite side of the hall. He had long black hair tied neatly at the back and wore an outfit similar to that of a noble.
Suddenly, three familiars appeared next to him.
Nathan and the others released their ena, ready to fight. Evelyn had activated the teleportation circle so they could get away at any time.
However, Elysion only summoned those three familiars. They hadn’t released their ena as if they had no intention to fight.
Elysion smiled. “You have finally come to meet me, Nathan. Or how am I supposed to call you now…”
“!!!”
