- Chapter 891 - 891: Unexpected Report

“Time Seal. Release.”
“!!!” The warrior class alien widened his eyes. The moment the magic circle glowed, his instinct was telling him to go. Even Nathan had already evacuated, as though he couldn’t withstand his own attack.
And that was because of one reason. The explosive bullet coming toward the alien wasn’t just from the gun. Nathan also used his left hand to continuously form the explosive bullets.
Those bullets were flying to the back of the magic circle, meaning that the number of explosive bullets around the Time Seal was at least double what people could see.
All of those bullets exploded at the same time. Even Nathan didn’t know the exact number of explosive bullets around that magic circle, but he believed it was over four hundred explosive bullets.
In other words, this was six times the power of his ‘Artillery’ that wasn’t divided into 64.
That explosion erupted, shining like the sun itself.
*Boom!*
There was still a distance between the magic circle and the alien, but it wasn’t enough for the alien to escape. The explosion ultimately engulfed the alien.
The girls covered their eyes while having goosebumps. What Nathan previously lacked was power. He managed to get that power from the absolute ice, but it might be that time was actually more suitable for Nathan’s fighting style.
After all, the moment the explosion vanished into thin air, there wasn’t a single trace of a warrior class alien left, only a single core falling from the sky.
“This…” Selena felt a bit scared of that power, but the excitement overwhelmed that fear. Nathan had just proven her words one more time. There was indeed a person that she had to chase with all her might for the rest of her life. As long as he continued walking, Selena would be compelled to grow stronger and stronger.
Flora glanced at Sera. “Do you think you can block that attack?”
“If I were to utilize this artifact to the fullest, I might be able to do it. But right now, I don’t have enough skill to utilize it. So, no.” Sera shook her head.
“This is even more powerful than even the combined attack of mine and my familiars. If that warrior class mutant received this kind of attack, would it be able to withstand it?”
Noelle didn’t say anything. She simply grabbed her sword without having any change in her expression.
“Heh.” Fenrir smirked. “That’s my summoner.”
“As expected of Master.” Mae smiled as though she knew this was going to happen.
They were able to relax because there was nothing but corpses around them. Since Nathan wanted to focus on the warrior class alien, they took the liberty of killing the remaining aliens, including the ones coming in his direction.
Nathan finally landed on the ground with a smile on his face. “This should be enough for the time being. Thanks for boosting my power, Anubis.”
Anubis nodded. “Still, I feel like you haven’t used it to its full potential. After all, this magic circle can do at least one more thing.”
Nathan knew what he was talking about. “Yeah. The magic circle can gather your attack as well. In other words, if I combine multiple breaths from Jinwu and Nidhogg, it might create an even more powerful breath that could completely incinerate a warrior class mutant.”
Anubis agreed. “The terrifying power of time… Although I feel like your bullets can be utilized better by using space, I guess if it’s you… you might be able to wield the time element in a way I can’t imagine.”
“We can only see that in the future. I don’t want to be complacent with this kind of power. After all, I still can’t imagine this kind of attack is enough to harm an elite class alien.”
“Fair enough.”
“Anyway…” Nathan shifted his gaze to the girl and waved his hands. “We’re done here. Let’s gather the cores and continue! Are you guys trying to get a hang of your new skills, familiars, or weapons as well?”
The girls were still so shocked that their eyebrows twitched when Nathan asked such a question. They truly wanted to slap Nathan in the face while shouting, ‘There’s no way we can do it after such a show!’
Little did they know, the real reason Nathan wanted to be selfish was because he believed their journey would become much harder than Sullivan’s mission. Even a warrior class mutant wouldn’t justify the danger hidden in this expedition.
That was why he had to get used to his new power and try to get stronger on the way to Selena’s father.
…
North of the Azilia Kingdom stood a huge camp consisting of at least twenty thousand people.
A massive tent was erected in the middle of the camp. A tall, muscular man clad in black armor raised his head, staring at the opening of his tent.
“Your Highness!” All of a sudden, a soldier rushed inside the tent and fell to one knee.
Several elderly men stopped their discussion and turned their heads toward this soldier.
“What’s wrong?”
“Our scout has spotted a monstrous alien 15 km (9.3 miles) northwest of our camp. We are unaware of its strength, but this monster looks like a massive centipede. According to their observation, it is at least 100 meters (328 feet) tall and almost half a kilometer (0.3 mile) long. There are so many flying aliens around that it looks pitch black.”
All the people inside the tent were stupefied after hearing the report.
One middle-aged man raised his voice. “I believe we should send our troops to engage that kind of monster. With this achievement, His Majesty will definitely make you the crown prince. This is our chance now that Her Highness Flora has given up her position as the crown princess. I, Duvas, am willing to lead the troops to eliminate such a monster, Your Highness, the First Prince!”
Yes, this camp was led by none other than Flora’s brother, the First Prince, Prince Karvanael Lenesta Ezelia.
He had been tasked here as a test from his father in order to pick the most suitable ruler for the Azilia Kingdom.
In other words, every single decision would be taken into consideration.
The first prince closed his eyes, falling into deep thought.
