Supreme Harem God System - Chapter 2120 You fought well.

Chapter 2120 You fought well.
“Begin what?”
Neremoth growled.
Nux’s smile widened just a little and—
“Your end.”
He answered.
“I have things to do, you see.”
Neremoth’s crimson eyes glared at Nux as the space between them vanished. The Darkness Eternal moved like a shadow.
He was fast, silent, brutal. His clawed hand sliced through layers of barriers Nux created for fun, aiming for his chest.
Nux dodged, letting the claws pass just beside his cheek.
“Nice.”
Nux praised.
“You’re fast.”
Neremoth didn’t speak.
He just attacked again.
His body exploded into tendrils of pure darkness, spinning, twisting, closing in from all sides. Each tendril left behind a scar of dead space—making sure Nux wouldn’t be able to teleport there.
Nux spun in the air, avoiding all the tendrils.
Yes, he was in his Universe, yes, he was pretty much immortal here, but this didn’t mean Neremoth wasn’t a threat.
Unlike Zarveth, who mostly relied on his relics, Neremoth was strong on his own, and because Nux hadn’t devoured him yet, he didn’t have complete control over him like he had with Zarveth.
Right now, Neremoth was like an external entity visiting his Universe. It was similar to how his wives appeared in the Main Universe—even though they weren’t at their strongest, they still weren’t weak.
Neremoth too wasn’t weak; his attacks could still prove to be lethal.
Nux had to be careful.
Of course, his surroundings helped him too.
But Neremoth did not stop and continued unleashing one attack after the other, as if he was prepared to kill this bastard today.
It was no longer about personal gain from ‘getting his hands on the Anomaly’, he just needed to take his anger out on this bastard.
“You are dead.”
Neremoth growled.
And Nux…
He clapped his hands, as if praising Neremoth’s efforts.
Suddenly, an asteroid that formed out of nowhere rose like a wave, slamming into Neremoth, but the Eternal of Darkness burst through it, his cloak spreading like wings.
Oblivion Ray.
A thick beam of black light shot from his palm. Everything it touched began to fade.
Nux flew around it, the edge of the beam barely brushing his coat, which crumbled for a second before being remade by his will.
“Oi Oi,”
Nux called out.
“Not the coat, I actually like this one.”
Neremoth growled, his voice echoing in every direction as he activated another one of his abilities.
Eclipse Spiral.
Dozens of black tendrils burst from his chest, homing in on Nux. They spun in circles, warping space, tearing through asteroids Nux had created just moments ago.
Nux caught one of the tendrils and crushed it.
He pointed a finger at the next one, and it vanished before it reached him.
He was being careful, yes, but it was clear he wasn’t actually trying very hard.
But Neremoth refused to stop.
Again and again, he attacked.
Dreadwake Pulse.
Nullfang.
Hollow Rebirth.
He turned into smoke, reappeared behind Nux, struck from below, from above, even from within the shadows of Darkness itself.
Nux kept up, but during the battle, his coat was ripped two times now—it was quite bad.
“I told you,
Not the coat!”
He complained as he stopped dodging for a moment.
Then—
Then punched forward.
And—
BOOOOOOM
His fist hit Neremoth in the stomach, sending him flying backward across the sky like a comet. The very space around crumbled, unable to bear the force of Nux releasing his full strength.
If it was any other being than Neremoth, his body would have disappeared into oblivion, but…
Nux could sense Neremoth’s presence.
“Let’s not drag this out,”
Nux spoke, floating calmly as he dusted off his sleeve and stared at where Neremoth was.
“You can’t kill me,”
Neremoth answered in a calm voice. Using Hollow Rebirth, his torn body had once again recovered back to its optimal state.
“You think this strange world gives you strength.
But I am darkness itself.
I do no—”
“Yes, yes.
Darkness, blah blah blah.
As I said, let’s not drag this out.”
Nux interrupted and then, he moved forward, attacking again.
Minutes passed.
Ten.
Then twenty.
Then thirty.
The battle raged across Nux’s Universe.
Nux used his reality control to bend laws, change gravity, flip time. He honestly experimented quite a lot—it was like he was using Neremoth as a practice dummy.
He was throwing everything he could at him, and impressively, Neremoth was taking it all. The attacks he could crush, he crushed. Those he could avoid, he avoided. As for those that crushed him…
He simply recovered and continued fighting again.
No matter how much Nux pushed, he kept coming.
But…
Neremoth realized it as well.
His Endless Energy…
It was fading away.
Hollow Rebirth used his Life Force as a cost. Theoretically, as an Eternal, he was an immortal with endless Life Force.
However, this did not mean he could use his Life Force however much he wanted…
There was a limit to abuse.
The very Universe made it that way.
One’s Life Force wasn’t an infinite resource. Yes, an Eternal had infinite Life Force but… nothing in this Universe was truly ‘infinite’.
Everything came with a cost.
And Life Force…
It came at the cost of one’s Soul.
When one uses Life Force, his very Soul burns itself to supply that energy. Of course, the first few uses don’t make a difference—a being’s Soul was the purest entity in the Universe, something the Universe cherished quite a lot.
Even a small amount of Soul Energy could fill even an Eternal’s Energy reserves, but…
What if…
One was forced to use this energy again and again and then again.
Ten times?
A hundred times?
A thousand times?
Or…
A million times?
No matter how strong a Soul was—in the end, even it had its limits.
As Neremoth continued to use Hollow Rebirth to recover, every time he was reborn… he became slower and weaker. Even his very instincts and mind began to slow down—so much that even he himself didn’t seem to realize it.
And by the time he did—
Nux was already grabbing him by his neck, lifting him in the air and he…
He had absolutely no energy to move or resist him.
“You fought well.”
Nux praised.
“But I guess you have no use for me now that you have spent all your Soul.
Oh well,
I guess I’ll have to make do with Zarveth alone.”
Nux shook his head and then, he devoured Neremoth, absorbing everything he once stood for.
The battle finally ended.
