Supreme Harem God System - Chapter 2124 What do we know about him?

Chapter 2124 What do we know about him?
“Wait…”
Suddenly, Light called out, her tone much more different than before.
“Why is Zylarith’s disciple together with the Anomaly?”
She questioned with a suspicious voice.
A question that spread another wave of silence amongst the Infinities.
“Is Zylarith related to the Anomaly?
That Fifth Infinity once covered for the Anomaly as well. Is… he perhaps working together with Zylarith as well?”
Light asked another question and this time—
“No Infinity in his right mind would work together with Zylarith.”
Darkness quickly shook his head.
Knowing how tricky that monster was, the last thing he wanted was to be associated with him. After all, it was almost impossible to predict what that bastard might do next.
But—
“What makes you sure about that?”
Light questioned again.
“We all know what kind of—”
“He should not know that. He was born long after Zylarith’s death. It wouldn’t be difficult for Zylarith to trick him, especially if he encountered Zylarith before becoming an Infinity. Don’t forget, the number of beings Zylarith has fooled isn’t small.
He has destroyed worlds using his trickeries. He definitely can be… quite convincing.”
“…”
“…”
Again, silence fell over the place. None of the Infinities could deny those words.
“Does this mean Zylarith already knows which world is the reincarnation of Chaosveil?”
Balance questioned.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if he does.”
Eternity answered.
“He has been looking for it for billions of years while we… all have been busy with our own things.”
He spoke carefully.
Once again recalling that the beings next to him weren’t his allies either.
“Of course, all of this could also be a false alarm. Maybe Zylarith is wary of the Fifth Infinity.”
“But then why would the Fifth Infinity help the Anomaly?”
“The Anomaly is not Zylarith.
Maybe the Fifth Infinity only wishes to protect the Anomaly. Maybe the two of them are working together and Zylarith is working on his own. Maybe he is using his disciple to get his hands on the Anomaly.”
“You think the Fifth Infinity would not understand his plans? That filthy Chaos Energy releasing from her body can be smelled from a long distance. Do you truly think an Infinity would not recognize it?”
“Maybe it is the opposite? Maybe the Fifth Infinity is using the disciple to get his hands on Zylarith.
If you think about it, the Fifth Infinity came after Zylarith. Since the information regarding the Chaosveil and Zylarith had become inaccessible to the rest of the Universe, he obviously wouldn’t know much about them—or even us.
But what if he gets his hands on Zylarith?
If he extracts Zylarith’s memories, he would not only be able to pry upon his secrets, he would also know about us and be able to come up with ways to deal with us.”
Balance gave his own theory.
“So you are saying he sees Zylarith as a target?”
Light questioned.
“In his current state, he wouldn’t be wrong to do so.
He is an Infinity. Any being in this Universe except us is a target for him.”
Balance muttered.
His thinking was simple. The Fifth Infinity did not truly know who Zylarith was. It wouldn’t be surprising for him to arrogantly believe that he could deal with one who was once called the strongest being in the Universe.
And in all honesty, it wouldn’t be very surprising if he did manage to deal with that.
Rather, he was somewhat hoping he does.
He would rather face a new enemy than have Zylarith resurrect and return to his prime—and he was quite sure the rest of the Infinities would want the same thing.
But—
“These are all just theories. I am sure every single one of us has many in our heads. There is no point in discussing these, not unless we have any way of knowing how likely each of these theories are.”
Suddenly, Eternity spoke up.
“Currently, what we know for sure is that the Anomaly is related to the Fifth Infinity as well as Zylarith.
Both of them are dangerous beings, and so is the Anomaly.
If anything, I believe the Anomaly is much scarier than the other two.”
Again, the Infinities nodded with their silence.
Both Zylarith and the Fifth Infinity—they knew something about them. Zylarith was currently in a state so weakened that he was of no threat to them at all. All he could currently do was plan his return—and it wouldn’t be that simple.
The Fifth Infinity, on the other hand, he was more of a physical threat—a being capable of going against them.
None of them knew what he was like or how strong he was. What they did know, however, was that he came from a world that is the reincarnation of Chaosveil, the Strongest Supreme World. He would be anything but weak.
But—
He would still be limited by the Universe’s restrictions.
Even Zylarith wasn’t able to take all four of them on his own. They were sure the Universe must have placed some sort of restriction on the Fifth Infinity to protect itself from complete domination by a single being.
That was how the Universe worked.
The problem, however, was the one who the very Universe was wary against.
The Anomaly.
A being who went beyond what even the Universe could control.
Yes, from the looks of it, he looked like a child still wet behind his ears, but… the number of times he had alerted the Universe with his actions was far, far greater than all four of them combined.
It was almost as if his very existence went against the Universe.
Till now, the Infinities did not take this matter very seriously because the Anomaly never directly harmed them, but today…
It was different.
Today, the Anomaly interrupted the operation they commanded.
It was an open declaration.
The Anomaly…
He was finally making moves against them—and this time, they needed to take action in order to deal with the enemy surrounded by mystery.
“What do we know about him?”
Balance questioned, looking at Eternity for answers.
And Eternity…
“Nothing.”
He shook his head.
“What…?”
Balance’s expression changed.
“We do not know anything?”
He questioned again with a frown.
“We do know how he looks, but the problem remains the same—looks are subjective. Most beings have the ability to change them. Someone like the Anomaly should have the means to change his appearance.”
“What about his abilities? From the looks of it, he protected Zylarith’s disciple from Zarveth. The two of them must have fought each other, did they not? What about that fight? Or was it too one-sided for us to know anything?”
Balance questioned.
Of course, not for a single moment did he think that Zarveth actually won against the Anomaly. He just wanted to know if he gathered anything useful.
Eternity did not answer his question directly. The screen that was in front of them started playing instead. The recording that had stopped where Sharnoth released a ridiculous amount of Chaos Energy to battle Zarveth started again.
The battle between the two Eternals continued. The Infinities watched in silence. The level of battle did not impress them, but since Eternity was showing it to them, they knew something important was about to happen.
Of course, they were also observing Zylarith’s disciple and comparing her with Zylarith. After all, every single one of them had seen Zylarith grow from a Sovereign to an Infinity—they were more than qualified to judge here.
“The difference between Zylarith and her couldn’t be clearer. Zylarith would have never struggled so much in a battle at this level.”
Light couldn’t help but comment. She seemed somewhat disappointed.
Yes, Zarveth was comparatively stronger and a somewhat difficult opponent at the level of Eternals because of how resourceful and experienced he was, but…
Zylarith was in a league of his own.
Light expected… a bit more from his disciple.
“What were you even expecting? Of course the two of them would be different. She is just a tool Zylarith plans to use. He wouldn’t have taught her anything substantial.”
Darkness snorted. He never believed the disciple could reach her master’s level anyway.
“Keep in mind, Zylarith had a complete Body of Chaos. That girl does not.”
Balance spoke lightly. It wasn’t fair to compare Zylarith and the girl anyway.
“Whatever.”
Darkness simply didn’t care.
He wasn’t interested in watching some Eternals fight anyway. He was only watching because Eternity wanted them to.
That child might be arrogant, but even Darkness had to agree that he was quite resourceful. Honestly, all beings from the Supreme World of Eternity were—even Zarveth, who was facing the girl, was no different.
The moment he realized that he was being overpowered, he quickly took out the Infinity Relics and began overpowering Sharnoth—ending the battle almost instantly.
In the end, the girl was trapped, unable to resist Relics made by an Infinity—
“That was disappointing.”
Darkness snorted. He then turned towards Eternity and—
“Did you make us watch because you wanted us to see how good your toys are in a battle against children?”
He questioned, somewhat annoyed.
But then—
[BOOOOOOM]
Inside the recording, just when Zarveth was about to end the battle, dark energy began to gather and suddenly—
[So in the end—you failed to suppress your true nature, huh?
I feared this might happen.]
He appeared.
