Chapter 2279: Why are you here in my World, Seraphielle?
Lord Light closed his eyes, preparing to summon Light Born Commanders to announce the Light World’s shutdown, but before he could do so—
His expression changed, turning into pure, complete horror.
Seraphielle noticed that change and narrowed her eyes.
“What is it?”
She asked with a frown.
And for the first time in a long, long while, Lord Light didn’t directly answer her, he just… stared at her with a pale, hopeless look on his face.
Seraphielle’s frown deepened.
“What happened?”
She asked again, but once again, Lord Light did not answer. He wasn’t in the correct mental state to answer her question.
Seraphielle narrowed her eyes, then, instead of asking, she decided to directly read Lord Light’s mind and the instant she did—
Her expression changed too.
A High-Level World that belonged to the Light Faction—
It broke its alliance with Light and joined the Eternity Faction.
BOOOOOOM
The instant Seraphielle’s mind registered that information, all the pillars holding the Temple of Light together broke into thousands of pieces and the temple’s roof—
It collapsed.
Right on top of Seraphielle and Lord Light.
In an instant, the Supreme World of Light shook. Thousands of Light Borns rushed towards the Temple. In less than a second, the rubble was lifted in the air and moved. Lady Seraphielle and Lord Light were brought out, unscathed of course.
No matter how strong the materials used to create the Temple were, they weren’t possibly strong enough to hurt these two beings.
Their hurt, however, wasn’t the main issue here.
The main issue was the Temple falling apart and bursting into pieces, after all, the Temple of Light wasn’t just made out of ridiculously expensive materials, it was the oldest building of the Supreme World of Light, a building directly connected to… Lady Seraphielle’s mood.
So if the Temple was destroyed…
That meant Lady Seraphielle…
The Light Borns, no matter whether Primordials or Eternals, none of them wanted to continue thinking about that thought any further.
They just…
Slowly raised their heads, turning towards Seraphielle with hesitant looks on their faces and Seraphielle…
She stood still, her head lowered in a way that her long white-golden hair covered most of her face. The air around her was silent—deathly silent.
For a moment, the entirety of the Supreme World of Light turned silent. It was one of the biggest Worlds in the entire Universe, so big that even multiple High-Level Worlds combined together still couldn’t be compared to it in terms of sheer size.
In this ridiculously large world, the Temple of Light was… an extremely small building, but once it broke, the impact of this ’small’ was so ridiculously high that… the entire world stopped. The world’s residents didn’t even breathe, not until Lady Seraphielle moved.
And Seraphielle finally did.
She lifted her head, her golden-white hair moved back, revealing her eyes and her eyes were… expressionless.
Like they always were.
But that didn’t make even a single Light Born present here sigh in relief, after all, they knew whatever had happened…
If it was big enough for the Temple of Light to fall down and not recover, even after a good few seconds had passed…
This would… not end well.
At least not this easily.
And they were right.
Because Seraphielle did not wait. She took a step forward and the very fabric of the Universe folded, making a way for her.
And a step later—
The Light Borns widened their eyes in absolute horror because…
Lady Seraphielle had disappeared.
“What!? Where did she go!?”
“Look for her!”
“Look for her!? How!?”
The Light Borns reacted, they all looked around, as if they weren’t looking for one of the strongest beings in the Universe, but a small pebble they couldn’t find.
“Lord Light!”
Then suddenly, one of them rushed towards Lord Light, who was still frozen and—
“Lord Light, do you know where Lady Seraphielle went!?”
He asked in an urgent, almost panicking tone. After all, an angry Infinity wasn’t good news, it was dangerous for the entire Universe.
And at a time as… complicated as this, an uncontrolled action would have… dire consequences.
“…”
Lord Light, however, did not respond. He couldn’t, his mind was still processing what had happened.
“LORD LIGHT!”
But he wasn’t given any more time. One of the Light Born Eternals shook his entire body, pulling him out of his reverie.
Lord Light blinked, looking around as if he had just woken up and—
“Lady Seraphielle, where is she!?”
The Light Born asked.
“Lady Seraphielle…?”
Lord Light muttered in a low voice.
“Lady Seraphielle has disappeared! Do you know where she is!?”
And only then did Lord Light’s mind finally process everything that had happened and he…
He connected his will to Seraphielle, wanting to know her location, and the instant he did, he gulped.
What he feared happened…
“She… she is at a World called Arravali.”
“Arravali?”
The Light Born frowned.
The name wasn’t unfamiliar, it was one of the weaker High-Level Worlds, a new World that had just recently joined the Light Faction about ten thousand years ago.
A World he… he never once thought was important. The only reason he even knew it existed was because he was the Commander who brought Arravali to the Faction of Light.
Most other Light Borns hadn’t heard that name simply because they did not care.
To Lord Light, however, those details didn’t matter. He just looked at the Light Born and—
“I am sending you and a hundred other Eternals to Arravali. Protect it…”
He ordered, then, after a slight hesitation, he added:
“If it still exists.”
“If it still exists?”
The Light Born’s expression changed.
The words made him frown, especially when he realized it wasn’t just him—Lord Light was sending a hundred Eternals to protect it.
And that was after Lady Seraphielle was already there.
Just… who were they protecting Arravali from?
Was it… the Anomaly?
The moment he thought about it, the Light Born narrowed his eyes dangerously.
Was it finally the time?
Were they finally going to face Anomaly and his army together with Lady Seraphielle? Was this years of… rat games finally going to stop?
The Light Born grinned at that thought and after a long, long time, his mind actually felt… excited.
He was looking forward to it but—
“Remember, don’t try it too desperately. Do not—absolutely DO NOT—stand against her or try to reason with her too aggressively.
Protecting your own lives is more important.”
Lord Light gave further instructions—instructions that the Light Born Commander did not understand one bit.
“What—”
But before he could ask or say anything else, he was teleported away, along with ninety-nine other Light Borns.
…
Far, far away from the Supreme World of Light, was another World, a World that was once part of the Light Faction—
Arravali.
Arravali was a High-Level World. It was quiet, disciplined and… seemingly pure. Its continents were carved into neat, sacred geometries, with shapes that were made to look like the symbol of Light.
Vast white-gold deserts surrounded fertile ’sanctuary valleys’. Harvest here never failed and illness was rare, as long as appropriate ’Faith quotas’ were fulfilled of course.
The skies were always clear, the nights were softly luminous, and every major city had a temple that prayed to Light.
It was a beautiful world—
One that seemed like it was designed to be part of Light.
Or… it was designed like this after it joined Light; not many knew.
But today, it didn’t matter, because the clear skies of Arravali today had a huge, golden crack and from that crack, unlimited amounts of Golden Light came out. So much that in an instant, the entirety of Arravali’s sky turned golden.
If this had happened a day or even a few hours ago, the people of Arravali would have gleamed with joy. Most—no, all of them—would have fallen on their knees and kowtowed with awed, joyful expressions, but now…
Now when they saw this Light—
They were horrified.
Because they knew what it meant.
The Light knew.
The Light found the truth.
And after learning the truth, it sent… a delegation.
And the people feared what Light’s delegation would do.
But… the people of Arravali were wrong—
Very wrong.
Because it wasn’t the Light ’delegation’ that had come.
It was Light itself.
Seraphielle Light.
“Progenitor of Arravali,
Come out.”
Seraphielle spoke, her voice echoing throughout the World. It was still the same gentle voice that made people feel awe and respect, but today…
The reaction to it was different.
Today,
The people trembled.
Now even more than before.
Some knelt, some directly passed out, some began thinking about killing themselves, but the being hovering in the sky did not care.
She looked down at the entire world with the same expressionless face and—
“I give you one last chance—
Come out.”
She declared, her voice now seeming even colder than before, making people tremble even harder but then suddenly—
Zoop
The Golden Light spread all over Arravali’s sky disappeared in an instant, as if time itself had rewound and—
“Why are you here in my World, Seraphielle?”
Another voice was heard.
It was the Infinity of Eternity.
Orravyn Eternity.
