Chapter 1120: If Destiny Wants A Fight, I’ll Give It One Hell Of A War! [Part 1]
Among the members of the Order of the Apocalypse, Thirteen was like a rising star.
Those who looked down on him in the past now looked up to him.
And one of those individuals was Camazotz.
When he asked the teenage boy to become his teammate, he had just done it for fun. To his surprise, Kamrusepa joined them.
Their first activity as a trinity had been to fight against the Artemians in the Arcadia Archipelago.
For the first time in a long time, Camazotz felt a sense of camaraderie. As he fought alongside the Majin Princess and the human boy, he unknowingly started to trust them with his life.
Thirteen, the weakest among them, even helped the Death Bat when the latter’s life was in danger during his fight against the Artemian, whose strength had surpassed Camazotz’s own.
After that battle, Camazotz met Cranky, and his mentality started to change.
Seeing his Big Bro fight tooth and nail against the Ancient Eight-Headed Serpent despite significantly being weaker than the other, something stirred within the Death Bat.
This enlightenment led to Camazotz’s rise in strength. Soon enough, the Death Bat became one of the strongest Jinns in the order, surpassing even some of the Seats who had already stepped into the Majin King Rank.
It wasn’t all about the rank.
It was the mentality that set him apart from those who were stronger than him.
And now, facing two Majin Princes from the Dragonkin, whose lineage and bloodline were stronger than his, Camazotz smiled fearlessly.
“Too slow!” Camaotz sneered as he flew past Prince Aurelion and Commander Dravon, taking both of them by surprise.
Zion ordered him not to engage the three powerhouses of the Dragonkin and focus on decimating their forces instead.
But as he approached the Dragonkin Army, Prince Aurelion’s sister, Princess Fiora, summoned a giant shield to block his path.
Her long red hair fluttered in the breeze, and her golden eyes locked onto the Death Bat, her gaze following his figure in real time despite his invincible speed.
Camazotz laughed as he approached the giant shield. He wasn’t strong physically and relied mostly on speed, but he learned a trick or two after that battle against the Eight-Headed Serpent and Paimon.
Princess Fiora was very confident in her defensive abilities, so she looked forward to seeing the Death Bat’s pitiful state once he realized that he couldn’t get past her shield.
To her surprise, Camazotz’s body turned into a blur.
A second later, he passed through her shield, catching her by surprise.
In the span of a heartbeat, the Death Bat was right beside the Majin Princess, about to fly past her.
However, he still had the leeway to whisper something in her ear before he clashed with the Dragonkin Army, who was helpless against the might of a true Majin Prince who had fought against a Majin King!
“Better luck next time.”
Those were the words that Camazotz had said to Princess Fiora as he flew past her.
That exchange only happened within a heartbeat, but his words were clear as day to her.
Her face beet red out of anger and shame. For the first time, someone had managed to get past her defenses. Not only that, but the one who did even dared to taunt her!
The screams of the Dragonkin spread in the surroundings as Camazotz unleashed a one-sided massacre.
Prince Aurelion, Commander Dravon, and Princess Fiora all worked together to encircle their enemy, but he was simply too fast while they were simply too slow to pose any threat to him.
Thirteen was confident in Camazotz’s ability, which was why he gave him the order to only attack the Dragonkins.
This would give him the image of an unstoppable force of nature that the other Jinn Factions would recognize.
The Jinns were a race that worshiped the strong.
Their laws were very clear cut.
I am strong, so I am right.
If you want to prove me wrong, you have to be stronger than me!
Of course, Thirteen also asked Camazotz to do a few more things as he attacked the Dragonkin Army, which the Death Bat followed to the dot.
“Is this the best that you got, Dragonkins?!” Camazotz asked in contempt as he continued to massacre their ranks. “You dare to act arrogant when you are this weak? Pathetic!”
The more he killed, the more he insulted the Dragonkins and their Prince.
“I don’t know if I should pity you guys or not.” Camazotz momentarily paused in his killing spree in order to gaze at Prince Aurelion, Commander Dravon, and Princess Fiora. “But you weaklings came all this way to Pangea to get massacred by me? Sucks to be you!”
The Death Bat laughed and flew away before the three could encircle him. However, he didn’t fly that far.
From a distance, he unleashed sonic booms at the Jinn Army, killing them from a distance.
The three powerhouses of the Dragonkin knew that this couldn’t continue, so they all charged at Camazotz with fury. To their chagrin, the Death Bat continuously distanced himself from his enemies while remaining consistent with his long-range barrage.
Prince Aurelion, Commander Dravon, and Princess Fiora knew that if they relented their pursuit, the Death Bat would simply come back to attack their army, killing more of their people.
“Die!” Prince Aurelion shouted as he thrust his spear, creating a beam of light that shot toward the Death Bat.
Commander Dravon did the same, channeling a great deal of strength in his attack.
“Who are you aiming at, slowpokes?” Camazotz asked in disdain as he dodged the two beams, which had enough power to pierce a hole through his body.
However, as the Death Bat dodged the attacks, he felt something dangerous behind him, prompting him to dodge to his right side.
At that moment, the beam he evaded from Prince Aurelion’s strike attacked him from behind.
Camazotz only needed to take a quick glance in order to understand what happened.
“Very clever,” Camazotz said as he dodged Commander Dravon’s attack. “I guess I can praise you guys for being smarter than turtles.”
The Jinns, who were part of the Turtle Faction, gave the Death Bat the middle finger. Although indirectly, he had just insulted their race.
But Camazotz didn’t have time to worry about anything else with Princess Fiora’s shields encircling him, reflecting the beam attacks of her brother and the Dragonkin Commander.
The more attacks they unleashed, the more beams bounced off the shield’s surface, creating a deadly barrage that seemed endless.
Camazotz smirked and flew away to escape the attacks, but he didn’t fly as fast as before.
Some of those beams grazed his body, causing a bit of injury, which made Prince Aurelion, Commander Dravon, and Princess Fiora believe that they would be able to kill him!
“Don’t relent!” Prince Aurelion shouted. “We need to kill him here now!”
“We can’t let him escape, Princess, so hang in there!” Commander Dravon roared as he unleashed a dragon breath, which Camazotz dodged, but was reflected back to the Death Bat by the shields that Princess Fiora suffered.
The four powerhouses were getting farther away from the Jinn Army, and they could only see flashes of light over the horizon, which was proof that the battle was still ongoing.
The Dragonkin Army thought that they could finally take a breather, but they were wrong.
Very wrong.
“Attack!”
Zapar’s shout broke everyone from their daze as the Elite Units of the Wanderers and the Jinns descended upon the Dragonkin Army, whose three strongest fighters had already been lured far.
Just like Camazotz, Zapar was also a Majin Prince.
While he may not be a combat-oriented Majin Prince, that didn’t change the fact that he was now currently the strongest being in the battlefield!
