Chapter 1121: If Destiny Wants A Fight, I’ll Give It One Hell Of A War! [Part 2]
Zapar smiled faintly as he pointed his staff at the Dragonkin Army.
A second later, countless dark bullets descended from the sky, raining down on his pitiful targets.
“We have only come to annihilate the Dragonkin Army!” Zapar shouted. “Those who don’t wish to die, stay away!”
With the shout coming from a Majin Prince, the other Jinn Factions hesitated to help their allies.
They had already seen how powerful Camazotz was earlier.
They might not know how strong the newcomers were, but seeing another Majin Prince from the enemy faction appear, they didn’t dare to approach the Dragonkin Army, fearing that they would be targeted next.
As the other Jinns silently retreated, the Rank 8 and Rank 9 Sovereigns of the Dragonkins readied themselves, knowing that a battle of life and death loomed upon them.
They all rose up to engage Zapar in battle, while their lower-ranking fighters engaged the Valkyries and the Wanderers in a dogfight in the sky.
Suddenly, the loud screech of a Phoenix spread across the battlefield.
Zia stood on top of Princess Aracelle’s Phoenix Form, glancing down on the Jinn Army like an Empress who was looking down on her subjects.
“House Pavereth, Skavari, Azrakith Court, and Velmoria Kingdom, now is the time to make your decision!” Zia shouted. “This will not happen again, so make up your mind now!”
Prince Valen, Prince Zorren, and Prince Xylen glanced at their ministers and subordinates with solemn expressions on their faces.
Lady Ristella looked at her two nieces, who only nodded their heads in affirmation.
“Sisters, heed my command!” Prince Xynalia shouted. “Attack the Dragonkins!”
The order surprised the succubi. But after remembering the hardships that their race had suffered under Prince Aurelion’s rule, all of them became war princesses and used their magic to unleash illusions and debuffs against the Dragonkins, who suddenly got backstabbed from behind by their allies.
“House Pavareth, attack the Dragonkins!” Prince Valen roared as he took the lead to attack the Dragonkin Army.
“Skavari!” Prince Zorren shouted. “Strength beyond Death!”
“”Strength beyond Death!””
“”Strength beyond Death!””
“”Strength beyond Death!””
“Charge!” Prince Zorren ordered, and the ground shook as thousands of Skavari joined the battle like bloodthirsty rats who wished to slaughter their enemies!
Prince Xylen looked at this battle and clenched his fist with determination.
“Echo Phase Activate!” Prince Xylen shouted.
The Prince transformed into his Hero Form, which Zion had given him in the past.
“I am Masked Beetle Rider!” Prince Xylen shouted before jumping high up in the air.
A giant white beetle then appeared under him, catching him perfectly as if they had rehearsed this scene countless times in the past.
“For too long, we’ve watched the world rot beneath cowards and tyrants!” Masked Rider Beetle declared, his voice amplified by the energy radiating from his core.
“Let them come with their monsters, their champions, their madness—because today, we show them what one heart, one will, and one cause can do!”
He then pointed his finger at the Dragonkin Army, who suddenly found themselves attacked from all sides.
“I don’t fight because I’m fearless,” Prince Xylen declared, making sure to look at the Camera that Zia was pointing in his direction. “I fight because someone has to stand when others fall!”
This camera was the only device that seemed to be working within Casimir City.
It couldn’t broadcast anything live. However, it could still record things, which could be broadcasted at a later time.
Thirteen had wanted Prince Xylen to be a Hero that humanity could recognize. And what better way was there to start than a fight against the Dragonkins? With this, they would show the world that there was one Masked Rider Beetle fighting for justice!
His Justice!
“So if destiny wants a war…” Prince Xylen took a fighting stance. “Then I’ll give it one hell of a fight!”
Colorful explosions erupted behind the Masked Beetle Rider, making the leaders of the factions look at the young prince in disbelief.
Some could be seen with their lips twitching, while others couldn’t help but find the Masked Beetle Rider really cool.
Of course, the explosions were carried out by Prince Xylen’s subordinates, who had accompanied their prince on his heroic adventures and had grown accustomed to using props and other special effects to enhance his appearance on camera.
Even Zia had to admit that Prince Xylen’s crew were now professionals in their field, and gave them a thumbs up in her heart.
“Go! White Rider Beetle!” Prince Xylen punched forward, and the giant white Beetle charged forward like a juggernaut, trampling and sending anything in its path flying!
“Madness!” Prince Zepharion of the Garuda Empire couldn’t believe what he was seeing.
A part of him wanted to join the House Pavareth, the Skavari, the Azrakith Court, and the Velmoria Kingdom in attacking the Dragonkin Army.
However, he knew that if he really did that, they would come to a point of no return.
“Your Highness, shall we?” the Commander of the Garuda Empire, Commander Greggor, asked.
“Commander, what do you think?” Prince Zepharion asked in a serious tone.
“You only need to answer one question, Your Highness,” Commander Greggor replied. “Would you like to continue being Prince Aurelion’s underling?”
“No!” Prince Zepharion answered without hesitation.
“Then that’s your answer, Your Highness.” Commander Greggor bowed respectfully.
Prince Zepharion looked at the golden scepter in his hand before raising it high in the air with determination.
“Warriors of the Garuda Empire, hear my orders!” Prince Zepharion roared. “Attack the Dragonkins! Kill them all!”
“”Kill!””
“”Kill!””
“”Kill!””
The warriors of the Garuda Empire had long wished to fight the oppression that they were feeling under the Dragonkins’ dictatorship.
They were like a kettle that had reached its boiling point, and now, all that steam was being released without anything blocking its path.
Just like an unstoppable wave of fury, the Garuda Empire began to charge at the Dragonkins.
However, just as they had resolved themselves to fight, Zia raised a megaphone and shouted.
“Everyone, retreat!”
Zia’s loud shout spread in the surroundings, catching everyone by surprise.
However, that surprise only lasted for a brief moment as House Pavareth, the Skavari, the Azrakith Court, and the Velmoria Kingdom all retreated toward the west. The Dragonkin Army, which had suffered countless casualties, was left behind, and they did not dare pursue the enemy.
The Garuda Army, which was about to attack, found itself in an awkward position.
Seeing that their allies were retreating like wild ducks that had heard a gunshot, the Garuda Army Commander glanced at his Prince and awaited his order.
Prince Zepharion’s face was already beet-red due to shame and anger.
However, he knew that now was not the time to hesitate.
“Follow them!” Prince Zepharion shouted. “Make haste!”
Since he had already ordered to attack the Dragonkin Army earlier, he couldn’t possibly take back his orders.
Doing so would only put them in harm’s way, so they did what they needed to do and escaped as fast as they could!
The Jinns who were left behind didn’t know whether they should stay or follow.
In the midst of their hesitation, they sensed the presence of four powerful beings heading in their direction.
Earlier, Prince Aurelion, Commander Dravon, and Princess Fiora had quickly realized that something didn’t feel right.
Camazotz was riddled with injuries, and yet, he wasn’t trying to escape as fast as he should.
And their suspicion was right. Indeed, the Death Bat deliberately lured the three powerhouses away from their Main Army, allowing Thirteen and Zapar to devastate the Dragonkin Army while their protectors were away.
Commander Dravon became livid with anger when he realized that they fell for the most obvious trick in battle.
Zia had seen Camazotz’s signal, which meant that Prince Aurelion and his comrades were returning, so she immediately ordered a retreat.
Princess Aracelle screeched as she flapped her wings in order to leave the battlefield, leading everyone away.
Sherry, who was riding her Adamantium Falcon, Ace, had joined the war earlier.
Thirteen knew he couldn’t protect her forever, so he agreed to her request to fight alongside everyone.
Although he was worried, he respected her decision. Sherry was not only his lover, but also a partner who had been his side for years.
“Come back here, you cowards!” Prince Aurelion’s shout reached Zia’s ears, making the young lady glance in the direction of the enraged prince, who was headed in their direction.
However, she wasn’t too worried about him since Zapar made his move to intercept Prince Aurelion, letting the others escape.
The first clash between their Elite Forces, and the Dragonkin Army had ended, and it was Thirteen’s team who won the first round in this clash for supremacy.

A/N: Sorry that I didn’t post yesterday. I had difficulty breathing and went to the hospital. Got only discharged around 1:00 AM and too tired to do anything but sleep.
