Chapter 1130: Fight For The Sake Of Humanity [Part 1]
“You look very proud of yourself,” Zia said to Camazotz, who had landed beside her.
The Death Bat had a smug look on his face as if he had won the Olympics.
“I am indeed very proud of myself,” Camazotz replied. “You should have seen that Dragonkin Prince’s face when I said I made you my wife, and did this and that with you.”
The corner of Sherry’s and Princess Aracelle’s lips twitched as Camazotz told what had happened during that brief chat with Prince Aurelion.
While his lovers felt concern over the Death Bat’s action, Zia only found it slightly amusing.
“Camazotz, I know you are confident with your speed,” Zia stated. “But they also know about your ability, you know? Yet they still came here. Don’t forget our enemies are not pushovers. They might have devised a plan to counter your trump card.”
“I understand.” Camazotz nodded. “I’ll be careful. How about you? What will you do?”
“I’ll give orders to my insect army and support you guys,” Zia answered.
“Sounds like a plan. Please don’t die on me, Zion. I’d hate it if you’re not here when I become the King of this continent.”
Zapar, who was standing nearby, smirked in amusement.
He also wished to establish his own territory in Pangea.
Although he and Thirteen weren’t part of the same faction, they were part of the same organization, which technically made them allies.
At least for now, while their interests aligned with each other.
The two had already had a private talk about the future after the war ended, and both agreed that they would continue to form a harmonious, peaceful co-existence with each other.
The war with the Jinn Alliance would start any minute from now, so Zia glanced at the small black beetle on her right shoulder, which connected her directly to Evuvug.
“Ready the Bombardier and Blister Beetles,” Zia ordered.
As soon as the orders were given, the Insect Army mobilized, making the Jinns stationed on the mountains look at them in surprise.
Prince Zepharion, who had faced these same beetles in the past, couldn’t help but sigh in relief. Fortunately, they were now fighting on the same side.
He was not able to bypass the defenses of the Planar Mountain Range since the low-ranking Jinns were all annihilated by the bombardment of the Bombardier Beetles.
When they get close, the Blister Beetles would then take charge, forming a long-range and middle-range zone of absolute death.
Only Rank 8 and Rank 9 Sovereigns would be able to breach this bombardment.
But going past the two hordes of the beetles was just the start. The High-Ranking fighters of House Pavareth, the Skavari, the Azrakith Court, the Garuda Empire, and the Velmoria Kingdom were now on Zia’s side, ready to deal with the lucky ones who could break through the mountain range’s first two lines of defense.
As for the enemy Majin Princes and Majin Princess, they will naturally be dealt with by Camazotz and Zapar.
The war chants of the two sides were still ongoing, but the army of the Jinn Alliance had once again resumed their advance.
Countless flying monsters soared to the sky, ready to fight an aerial battle to give their allies necessary cover to advance.
As the distance between the two armies shortened, both sides started to prepare for war.
’They are now within firing range,’ Evuvug spoke through the beetle in Zia’s shoulder.
“Let them come closer,” Zia replied. “Wait for my signal.”
Half a minute later, Zia finally gave an order to strike.
“Fire at will!” Zia ordered.
(A/N: Poor Will.)
As soon as the order was given, countless green fireballs descended from the mountain like rain.
The weaker Jinns unlucky enough to get hit by them didn’t even have the time to cry out in pain as their entire bodies melted and burned on the spot.
The mutated Bombardier Beetles’ barrage wasn’t really made of flames. No. They were made from highly concentrated acid that could even melt metal!
Thirteen and Evuvug didn’t want to create an ordinary insect army. They wanted a very powerful army that would not only kill the enemies in front of them but also hinder those at the back.
Since the acid was very potent, the ground melted as well, causing toxic fumes to rise up, making it hard to breathe.
Thirteen had allowed a good portion of the Jinn Alliance to advance on purpose, then gave the signal to attack, so those at the front would have no choice but to charge forward to dodge the rain of acid blasts from the sky.
But by doing so, they had fallen into a trap. Another hellish nightmare awaited them, for the Blister Beetles would all open their mandibles and unleash an acid spray that was just as potent as the Bombardier Beetle’s.
Actually, the Blister Beetles were one of the most dangerous fighters in Thirteen’s Insect Army.
They could spray powerful toxic spray and fight at close range by biting their enemy, and injecting venom inside their bodies.
That wasn’t even the worst thing that could happen.
These beetles had been genetically engineered to explode upon death, dealing an area of effect damage that coated their surroundings with a mix of the corrosive acid they sprayed and their venomous blood.
Evuvug had called them Destroyer Beetles because every part of them was meant to kill as many enemies as they could.
The Blister Beetles were stationed at the base of the mountain, acting as the vanguard of Zion’s army.
The Vanguard of the Jinn Alliance was composed of monsters that had strong armor, which protected their bodies from harm.
But even they struggled against their enemies who knew no fear.
Camazotz smirked as he watched the enemy’s vanguard struggle to break past the bombardment of the insect army.
However, he raised his gaze to look at the sky, where the flying monsters of the Dragonkin Army soared at a range that the Bombardier Beetles couldn’t hit.
“Time to shine, Zed,” Zia ordered his fastest subordinate to fight in the sky.
The Giant Savage Killer Bees and Berserker Wasps that Evuvug had raised also rose up en masse to intercept enemies that were headed in their direction.
“Garuda Army, to me!” Prince Zepharion ordered as he opened his wings and flew to the sky.
“House Pavareth, to the skies!” Prince Valen ordered.
The Giant Peacocks, Virelax the Prismfeather and Avereth the Frostcrown Mirage, flew alongside Prince Valen.
They were the Rank 9 Sovereigns of House Pavareth and were confident in fighting anyone, except for the Majin Princes and Princess of the Dragonkin Army.
A great battle was waged above and below the mountain.
Everyone watched as both ally and foe fell from the sky after their defeat in the aerial battle that covered the sky, making bloody rain fall on the combatants who were fighting desperately on the ground.
