System's POV - Chapter 1146: I’m Sorry For Making You Worry

Chapter 1146: I’m Sorry For Making You Worry
“Please rest for a while, Young Master,” Hans said as he handed the teenage boy a potion. “The helicopter will be landing shortly.”
Thirteen nodded in understanding and drank the potion as he was told.
The Military Helicopter that arrived was one of his own Helicopters and powered by a Boltron Core.
Since the Boltron Core was a Divine Armament, it could bypass the effects of the continental jammer, which had been destroyed a day ago.
However, Lucan had tampered with its settings, so its effects would still linger for a few more weeks before completely dissipating from the continent.
As to how they found Thirteen?
Laplace Demon appeared before Hans and handed the butler a map of the Cygni Continent.
The map looked normal, save for the blinking green dot indicating Zion’s current location.
The butler didn’t hesitate to use one of his Master’s helicopters, which had been brought from the Aldebaran Continent upon his request.
“Young Master, where do you want to go?” Hans inquired after explaining the full story.
“I need to find Erica,” Thirteen replied.
Hans was part of his inner circle, so he trusted him very much.
“Do you know where she is?” Hans asked.
“She’s somewhere in that direction,” Thirteen replied as the helicopter descended a short distance away from them. “Let’s go and pick her up.”
“As you command,” Hans bowed respectfully before picking up Zion and carrying him like a princess.
Thirteen didn’t feel embarrassed in the slightest. It was rational to accept help whenever necessary—now, for example, since his legs had given up on him.
He was a spent candle, having used all of his reserves after fighting the monster army together with his allies.
A few minutes later, the helicopter sped across the sky, following the direction where Thirteen was pointing.
Suddenly, they saw fireballs exploding in the distance, which confirmed that they had now arrived at their destination.
“Hans, Cristopher, save Erica,” Thirteen ordered.
“”Yes, Young Master!””
Without any ounce of hesitation, the two jumped off the helicopter and summoned their flying Avatars.
Erica was being besieged by a group of Harpies, and the young lady looked like she was reaching her limit.
Her clothes were torn in some places, and she looked so disheveled—a stark contrast to her usual image.
Erica liked to keep herself neat and pretty so that she could cuddle with Zion anytime.
After she was saved, Thirteen couldn’t help but feel his heart ache after seeing how weak and exhausted she looked.
“I haven’t taken a bath in two days,” Erica said after Thirteen hugged her tightly.
“I don’t care,” Thirteen replied. “Don’t worry. We will take a bath together after we pick up Sherry and Aracelle.”
The corner of Vincent’s lips twitched, feeling envious of the teenage boy who was going to take a bath with three beautiful ladies.
’When I get back, I’ll ask Penny to accompany me to the Valkyrie Camp,’ Vincent thought, doing his best to avert his gaze from Zion’s public display of attention.
Being hugged by her lover, Erica finally felt that she was safe after spending nearly four days surrounded by monsters on all sides.
She had fought her way through hordes of monsters and hadn’t slept for two days because of it.
And even in the times when she was able to sleep, they only lasted for an hour or two before she once again needed to move to safety.
Using his threads to find his lovers, Thirteen was pleasantly surprised to see that Aracelle was with her brother, Prince Valen, protecting her from every Azothrall they came across in the journey.
Sherry was with Erasmus, who ensured that Thirteen’s lover wouldn’t get hurt under his watch.
After their reunion, they headed Southeast to Casimir City in order to meet up with their allied forces.
When they finally landed on the airfield of the Central Government, Arthur, Lawrence, and Renz personally welcomed them to their base.
“Take a bath, you brat,” Arthur wrinkled his nose upon seeing how messy Thirteen looked. “You stink.”
Lawrence knew that this wasn’t the right time to talk to Thirteen, so he decided to let the boy freshen up first.
To Thirteen’s surprise, Casimir City once again had electricity, and some of the technological weapons within the base could finally be used again.
Perhaps seeing his reaction, Lawrence said that the Wanderers had created their own jamming device that disabled the effect of the continental Jammer.
However, the area of effect of their own anti-jammer was limited to only ten miles.
They had installed a few around the city, allowing the Wanderers to once again communicate with their naval base and power up their technological weapons.
Thirteen allowed himself to be carried by Princess Aracelle, who was more than happy to hold her beloved.
The four headed straight to the hotel with Zion’s VIP Room, where they all soaked in a big jacuzzi.
“Ahh… finally, I feel alive,” Erica said as she hugged Zion in the bathtub. “I don’t want to experience that again.”
She then kissed Thirteen’s shoulder where a bruise was located. Due to the effects of potions, as well as Princess Aracelle’s Divine Powers, most of his injuries had already healed.
Those that were still visible were the remains of the more serious injuries that he had received after nearly four days of fighting.
When Hans told Erica that Zion wandered the wilds to save her, the sorceress couldn’t help but fall in love with her lover all over again, finding him very sweet and caring.
When Sherry and Princess Aracelle heard this, they felt touched. While they hadn’t been in as much trouble as Erica, they all knew that if they were stuck in the same situation, Zion would also brave all dangers just to be by their side.
Just as the four of them were enjoying their intimate moment together, the door of the bath opened, taking them by surprise.
Their gaze then landed on the beautiful Saintess, who didn’t hesitate to take off all her clothes before joining them in the jacuzzi.
“I missed you, Zion,” Shana said before hugging the teenage boy. “I was so worried after hearing what happened to you.”
The first thing Thirteen wanted to ask was, “What are you doing here?” But the moment he felt Shana’s body shudder, followed by a trace of wetness streaking across his back, the only thing he could do was hug her back.
“I’m sorry for making you worry,” Thirteen said, hugging his lover tightly. “I love you, Shana.”
“I love you too,” Shana replied, holding Zion a little tighter.
She no longer wanted to stay behind and wait anxiously for news of what was happening on the battlefield.
Even though she would be in danger, she wished to fight alongside her comrades and protect the teenage boy in her arms, who carried many burdens on his shoulders.
Perhaps all his injuries and exhaustion had finally caught up with him. Thirteen fell asleep in Shana’s embrace, feeling safe and loved by the Saintess, who loved him more than she thought she could love someone in her life.
Although the future of the continent remained uncertain due to the unexpected situations that had occurred during the battle, Shana believed that as long as Zion was with her, she would be able to face the hardships that lay ahead in the days to come.
