Chapter 1431: It Would Soon Be Called The Unfortunate Isles
After a few trips back and forth, Dantanian finally gathered Thirteen, Shasha, Mikhail, and Remi in the Valbarra Archipelago.
Shasha visibly brightened the moment she saw Cranky, who was in his Honey Badger form.
Cranky also smiled faintly at this unexpected reunion. Thirteen noticed this exchange, but pretended to not see it.
He was more interested in Forneus’ expression, who seemed to have eaten a fly.
The Valbarra Archipelago was once his nesting place, and its residents revered him as their Deity.
While they still revered him today, his rank in their hearts had long fallen to third place. The first two places naturally belonged to Zion and Cranky, who had fought for their sake during the war against Arundel the Destroyer.
The Immortal Fiend was also surprised to find another Celestial in the domain he once treated as his home.
Transforming into a Celestial usually came with a tribulation too big to miss. And as their equals, they would’ve felt that someone had joined their ranks no matter how far they were.
But how could they have felt it when Cranky became a Celestial in Pangea?
He had even gained the power to freely travel across worlds.
His status as Pangea’s strongest, acknowledged by the world itself, also garnered him authority.
With that loophole, Cranky could visit Zion and his family anytime if he felt like it.
But since his priority was to heal his body, he returned to the Valbarra Archipelago, where the Power of Faith greatly sped up his recovery.
“You’re surprised, right?” Dantanian grinned. “Cranky is a Celestial, and he’s on our side! He’s injured right now, but once he recovers, he will certainly help us in our fight against Zaphiel’s and his entourage.”
“… Yeah,” Forneus replied stiffly. “That’s good.”
An injured Celestial was still a Celestial. Cranky would definitely be a big help when they fight against Zaphiel and his army. And he also seemed attached to Zion for some reason.
Forneus simply felt uncomfortable about the countless people currently worshiping Zion’s statue in the Heroes Monument. The young man was even talking to what looked like a Head Priest, introducing his family members to them.
No other place in the entirety of Solterra would perhaps be safer for the Leventis Family. As long as they were in Valbarra Archipelago, their protection was guaranteed.
Everyone there worshiped Zion and Cranky. Now that they know that Mikhail, Shasha, and Remi were their savior’s brother and sisters, the trio would receive the VIP Treatment from the rulers of the different races that lived there.
“This is my older brother, Mikhail. My sister, Shasha. And the youngest, Remi,” Thirteen said casually. “Please treat them well.”
“Treat them well?” the Head Priest repeated as if struck by lightning. “Your Holiness, they are your blood! They will be honored as Sacred Kin!”
Forneus’ eyelid twitched.
Sacred… Kin?
The Fiend of Many Faces stifled a laugh.
“I told you,” Dantanian whispered. “He’s practically a God here.”
Forneus shot him a glare. “He is not a god.”
“Of course not,” Dantanian said innocently. “Just someone whose statue is bigger than yours.”
Forneus’ killing intent briefly spiked before he forced himself to calm down.
If only he knew about the battle between Thirteen and William in the world of Hestia.
A battle where the Temple of the Ten Thousand Gods fully became aware of the teenage boy’s existence in his battle with William Von Ainsworth.
Sure, the young man wasn’t a God. But his strength lost out to no one.
A few minutes later, Thirteen finally ended his talk with the High Priest and approached Forneus and Dantanian.
Wormwood was currently recuperating two miles away from the Heroes Monument, and the Head Priests had already sent messenger birds to inform all the Kings in the Archipelago that they had guests… powerful guests.
Of course, they didn’t beat around the bush and directly shared that these guests were none other than the Immortal Fiend, the Fiend of Many Faces, and the Plague Bearer.
It would take the message a few hours to reach their respective correspondents. But the Head Priest already knew that they would hurry to pay their respects to the three Fiends of Solterra once they learned of this news.
They hadn’t met any of the three, but they were more familiar with Forneus, whose statues were located at the third biggest island. Worship toward him never really died, and his Priests still made offerings for him.
“They might be tracking Wormwood’s whereabouts right now,” Thirteen said as soon as he was only a meter away from Forneus and Dantanian.
“It’s also possible for them to prioritize the other keys first.
“But once they realize where the other keys are, they might prioritize heading to this place instead of chasing the Key of Greed.”
Dantanian nodded. “With three keys in one place, they’ll definitely assume that Forneus and I each have a key like Wormwood.”
“Right.” Thirteen nodded. “So when they come here, they will come to fight. If they have an agreement with the other Celestials… or Fiends, expect them to come with their entire army.”
Thirteen had no intention of making the Valbarra Archipelago their battleground.
The people here had suffered enough, and he didn’t want them to experience another great battle that would wreak havoc across their lands.
Because of this, he had an idea.
“Let’s fight them in another place,” Thirteen declared.
“And that place is?” Forneus asked.
“The Fortunate Isles,” Thirteen replied. “Though it would soon be called the Unfortunate Isles.”
He and Stella obtained the Key of Lust in that place. It was the perfect battlefield since all of its inhabitants had evacuated to the Valbarra Archipelago.
No matter how big the havoc they wreaked, no innocent would be hurt.
“I know that place,” Dantanian said. “I visited it once. However, I never returned there.”
“Good.” Thirteen smiled. “Let’s depart tomorrow. Tonight, we will stay and allow Wormwood to recover a bit.”
The teenage boy glanced at the towering Treant, who was trying to heal its injuries by basking in the sunlight.
Wormwood needed to catch its breath after the strenuous battle not long ago, so Thirteen deemed it best to postpone their journey to the Fortunate Isles for the next day.
