Chapter 1459: The Forces Of The Apocalypse [Part 2]
He finally understood why these usually cautious members from the order dared to come and aid him in battle.
Metatron must have offered an agreement with a worthy reward. And that must be on top of lending them Divine Items that could defeat the Celestials and Fiends standing on top of Solterra when utilized properly.
“Zion, who’s the weakest among them?” Camazotz asked. “I’m itching to use my new toy.”
Thirteen glanced at the helmet the Death Bat was holding before looking at Camazotz in disdain.
The helmet in his hand was none other than the Helm of Hades, which could turn anyone who wore it invisible.
But this wasn’t simple invisibility.
Once the helm was put on, no one would be able to detect the Death Bat even if he stood a foot away from anyone.
The helm completely erases not only his presence but his entire existence.
Even those with superhuman senses wouldn’t be able to know where Camazotz was the moment he wore the helmet, complementing the Death Bat’s hit and run tactic.
“You see that guy?” Thirteen pointed at Apollyon. “He is the weakest. Go beat him up.”
“H-Hahaha! What a joke,” Camazotz replied. “Me? Beat up the Fallen Angel of Death? Do you want me to die? Also, he is one of the strongest Fiends! Do you think I’m a fool to attack him?!”
“Then attack Mammon instead,” Thirteen stated.
“Hey, I like gold and treasures.” Camazotz coughed lightly. “Let’s not burn bridges now, shall we?”
“Get out of my sight!” Thirteen kicked the Death Bat away because he was being annoying. But since the latter was stronger than him, his kick didn’t do much damage.
It only made the Death Bat feel awkward. He asked for Zion’s advice, and yet he refused to fight the “targets” the teenage boy had picked for him.
“Um, that guy over there looks like a total pushover,” Camazotz pointed at Cahethal, the Celestial of Agriculture.
Cahethal was the only true peace lover among the Celestials and wasn’t really proficient in fighting.
In fact, the moment Barman attacked Zion, he immediately distanced himself from his colleagues, not wanting to get involved in the ruckus.
Thirteen face palmed. He thought the Death Bat had already changed. Obviously not.
After a heated exchange, he managed to convince Camazotz to attack Dumah, the Celestial of Silence instead.
Since the start of the battle, Dumah acted most suspiciously, convincing Thirteen that he was a fisherman merely waiting for everyone to get tired before making his move.
Since that was the case, Camazotz would be the perfect volunteer to see if his guess was right.
Since Camazotz didn’t hear many things about Dumah, he thought that the Celestial was a pushover. Because of this, he agreed to Thirteen’s request and put on his Helm of Hades.
Thirteen watched as Dumah’s head wobbled as if hit by something. He immediately took a fighting stance right away, sensing his attacker nowhere.
Dumah took a deep breath before he clapped his hand three times. Each clap was loud enough to rupture an eardrum within a hundred meters around him.
On his third clap, the world suddenly became quiet.
The crashing of waves below made no sound.
The thunderous clash between Beelzebub and Barman. Even the howling tempest unleashed by the Storm Mace of Enlil.
All types of sounds vanished. The roars of Belial and Wormwood ceased to exist. The sound of fighting completely disappeared, and everything within a mile-radius of the Celestial felt themselves isolated from any form of sound in existence.
Dumah has unleashed his Domain of Silence.
Losing the ability to hear might be a minor inconvenience to some, but the Celestial’s Domain was more than that.
It also made everyone knew painfully well how loud silence could be.
Thirteen could hear ringing in his ears because in the absence of sounds, the human brain forced the ears to search for something to hear.
This creates the ringing, buzzing, and humming sound that someone hears when the world around them became silent.
It was a very painful silence, and everyone was affected by this skill.
Well, everyone except Thirteen.
Dumah was actually using his Sound Domain to amplify his own senses to search for the one that attacked him.
But no matter how far he extended his senses, the only ones he could sense were those fighting around him.
Suddenly, Dumah felt a fist hitting the side of his face. Although it didn’t hurt as much as it should, the fact that someone inflicted pain to him made the Celestial very angry.
Many didn’t know this, but Dumah was actually the second strongest among the Celestials.
Who was the strongest?
It wasn’t Zaphiel nor Rahab.
It was also not Barman.
As for the Celestial of Love, Passion, and Sexuality, Anael, he was far from being a warrior. He was more of a mage when he fought.
While no one might believe it, the strongest among the Celestial was none other than the Celestial of Agriculture, Cahethal.
He simply didn’t like to fight and preferred to teach mortals on how to farm, raise livestocks, and anything that would help them survive in this cruel world.
That was also the reason why Thirteen stopped Camazotz from targeting Cahethal. While the Death Bat might be invisible, the teenage boy believed that Cahethal could find a way to insta-kill the Majin Prince if the latter attacked him with hostility.
Among the Celestials, he was also best in dealing with pests, and dealing with the pesky Death bat wouldn’t be a problem for him!
More importantly, Dumah was fighting a creature that evolved from complete darkness and silence.
Camazotz felt comfortable inside the Domain of Silence. In fact, he thrived in it. Now that he was invisible, he felt invincible!
Among the members of the Apocalypse, he was granted special exception by Metatron to take two Divine Armaments from the God’s own treasury.
The first one he took was the Helm of Hades, giving him complete invisibility.
And the second item he took was…
The Nemean Cestus. This was also known as the Gauntlets of Hercules.
They were gauntlets that were shaped into the head of a Lion, and each punch dealt a devastating blow to its target.
The funny thing was that whenever the gauntlet landed a successful hit, it would roar like a lion.
But since sound had ceased to exist, Camazotz didn’t hesitate to punch the Celestial’s face with a wicked grin on his devilish face.
