Taking the Mafia to the Magic World - Chapter 1156: Time to Return to Anicane!

Chapter 1156: Time to Return to Anicane!
Back in Mylecent’s territory, the group was more relieved, not having to deal with problems during their return.
None of them were in their best state to fight high-level threats, much less prepared for new enemies. Fortunately, Hell was vast and mostly uninhabited.
Until the end of Barraz brought calamity to the vicinity, it would take at least a few hours. That time was enough for them to return safely, extremely satisfied with the results.
“We have to think of something for the future before we separate,” Vicente said as he relaxed, already inside Mylecent’s palace. “It would be good to stay longer by your side to plan, but I fear I can’t spend much more time here. My actions in my plan need to keep developing.”
Mylecent understood Vicente’s side. Currently, she didn’t need to keep going back to her continent—Oqia. After Minos’ success in those lands, Oqia had become a peaceful and safe place for his family and allies. Since then, this Devil had been enjoying the privileges of a leader, staying as much time as possible in Hell to strengthen herself.
But she had been in a different position not long ago. Back then, she went back and forth from Hell, mixing moments of hiding, fighting, and fleeing from enemies.
She gave Vicente a pendant and said, “You can reach me using this device. As long as I’m in Hell, it will be easy for us to find each other again.”
Vicente observed the item, while Jelgos and Kong remained silent.
She continued, “In any case, what we have to do now is unite forces, here or in our dimensions. Contacting Minos will be difficult. But I’ll try to contact some of our close contacts.”
Mylecent looked at the silent group, confident that this alliance was necessary, but still with a reservation. Telling them she knew Minos’ family was out of the question!
Vicente nodded in understanding and said, “I left a clone of myself in my territory. He won’t have my post-creation experiences, but I’ll know everything he experiences. So if one day you need to communicate something to me, speak with him. I’ll understand whatever it is and act accordingly, as soon as possible.”
Mylecent smiled at the young man, impressed he had achieved something so incredible.
Clones were not uncommon possibilities to find in the planes of existence. There were definitely an impressive number of beings capable of creating clones of themselves. But finding one was difficult. Even in tens of thousands of years of life, Mylecent had only come into contact with one such cultivator before hearing Vicente’s words today.
She didn’t focus on that curiosity and asked, “What will you do on your side? Our alliance will face several challenges here in Hell until we reach a position close to elevating Minos to a higher point.”
“I haven’t defined that yet. There’s an experienced senior waiting for me on the other side. She told me that without Senior Minos, we could never achieve our objectives. So I came to Hell in search of him… Unfortunately, it’s not that easy to contact him. That’s why I’m leaving a clone behind. As for the rest, I’ll try to continue strengthening my position in my plane; who knows, I might bring more companions to Hell to strengthen themselves. In any case, we have plenty of enemies from Argardus who can give us information on how to bring the Nine Paths back to its ancient glory.”
Fighting Deities from Argardus would be impossible while in Hell. In fact, even going to Argardus would be impossible. After all, Deities and Devils couldn’t cross the boundaries of each other’s domains.
The battles between Devils and Deities happened in the other planes of existence, especially in the most powerful domains, like Anicane!
Kong was eager to return and make use of his current powers, but also to resolve old grudges that had haunted him for too long.
Jelgos scratched his chin, imagining the other side. He was not native to Hell, despite having lived almost his entire life in the dimension. He was not from Anicane, nor from the dimensions of Mylecent, Minos, or Lothur. But he had come into contact with many beings from different planes and couldn’t help but be curious.
’Anicane is supposedly the ’favorite battlefield’ of Deities and Devils. If I can join the group, it will be an unparalleled experience!’
Mylecent heard Vicente and said satisfactorily, “Good! In the end, there’s not much we can do, anyway. Getting stronger, gaining allies, and killing enemies is the only way forward. I’ll do the same in your absence. Until I receive contact from my dimension, I’ll go after allies and enemies around here.”
She looked at Jelgos and questioned the man, “How will your master position himself on this matter?”
Even though Jelgos was there, Mylecent still wasn’t sure that the powerful Lothur would be a permanent ally.
Jelgos said, “My master’s intention is to open the way for Vicente. He won’t move personally until he has certain guarantees,” he looked at Vice. “But he wishes for the success of Vicente’s journey. I speak this with all certainty in my heart. My master won’t change his stance on this!”
Vicente smiled slightly, while thinking to himself. ’I believe that, too.
As long as I can prove Senior Minos’ power to achieve our ambitions, Senior Lothur will benefit greatly from our actions to give up on us or go against our plans. Only if I fail will he stop helping me from behind the scenes…’
Vicente had good intuition and knew in several ways that Lothur could benefit from the return of ancient glory. The most important of them, Lothur would be one of the main, if not the main, names to reach the 11th stage and lead the generations ahead. This placed him in the position of a reliable ally of Vice, but also as a target of the enemies who wanted to maintain the situation as it was since the end of the Nine Paths.
Mylecent also did not doubt Lothur’s intentions, despite her reservations stemming from countless years of experience.
“I genuinely hope so… But I think he won’t have much time before choosing to act personally. I don’t know the agreement you made, but I believe that once Vicente becomes a Transcendent, the main minds behind the current era will move. We need to be prepared when that happens!”
Vicente nodded, looking at Mylecent and Jelgos.
Lothur’s subordinate knew that his master’s position couldn’t remain in the shadows for long, even considering Lothur’s powerful position. “I’ll uncover your concerns to my master when possible,” he gestured in respect to Mylecent.
Vicente sighed, standing up from where he had been sitting until then. “Sigh, time to separate. I have to find two of my companions before leaving… So it’s better I don’t waste time. I don’t want to risk others discovering about the new bearer of the Law of Darkness.”
Mylecent also stood up, smiling, but also looking at Vicente with a touch of mystery. “You don’t need to worry about that. You are now the king of darkness. As long as you want, you will be invisible and ordinary as a beggar in the eyes of darkness followers.”
“I hope so, haha.”
“But, Vicente, don’t settle for ’just’ that.” She narrowed her eyes, speaking in a lower tone. “I find it hard for you to obtain the Law of Darkness completely. The rest of it should be in the Upper Realm—Argardus. But since you also hold Light, your chances might not be zero.”
Jelgos and Kong felt their breaths quicken as they thought about Mylecent’s bold idea.
“Are you suggesting that I invade Argardus?” Vicente asked, his expression as shocked as that of Jelgos and Kong.
“That would be suicide for all of us.” Mylecent commented with humor. “But you might succeed! And if you do, you’ll be even more powerful when you have the complete law!”
