Ten Lucky Draws: I Became OP - Chapter 428: Redefining Alchemy

Chapter 428: Redefining Alchemy
The moment the competition commenced, the room was draped in utter silence.
Unlike Ash’s earlier demonstration, the ’battle’ for the top Alchemist in all of Reality was something that could not be disturbed under any circumstance.
Yet, after thirty minutes, neither Luna nor the Lord of Alchemy had moved a muscle… something that caused the anticipation to become even more intense.
One of the senior Council elders — finally broke the silence, her voice sharp with impatience.
“Begin,” she commanded. “The Council did not gather to watch two statues.”
The Lord of Alchemy remained perfectly still, his blue eyes fixed on Luna. After a long moment, he spoke, his tone calm but laced with arrogance.
“I will not move until the Weaver of Alchemy does.” He said, “This is a competition… not a showcase, either we create at once or not at all.”
Ash, standing off to the side with his hands in his pockets, watched the scene with open glee.
He knew exactly why the Lord of Alchemy was waiting — the man was trying to force Luna into revealing her method first, hoping to analyze and counter it.
Ash sent a subtle, internal message directly to Luna, his tone warm and reassuring within her mind.
’This guy, my dear, is the renowned ’Lord of Alchemy,’” he remarked with a faint smile.
In truth, he had recognized him from the very first moment, which was precisely why he had delivered that earlier speech about no alchemist in any era being worthy to carry her shoes.
Luna’s golden eyes flickered briefly as she received his words.
’Isn’t this perfect?’ Ash continued. ’Go… rewrite the foundations of Alchemy and place this man beneath you.”
With measured grace, she stepped forward, her voice resonating with clarity and composure throughout the silent chamber.
“Very well. Since the so-called Number One Alchemist insists on waiting for me… I shall begin.”
And as she raised her hands she spoke again, “I mean… it’s not like it will make a difference.”
“Number one Alchemist…. or Lord of Alchemist, it matters not. All must bow before me as…. I am the Goddess of Alchemy!!!”
HUMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!
In that moment, her divinity surged wildly, like a wave of raw power.
Yet, as always, to any outside observer there was nothing to see… nothing to feel.
Before her, everything completely vanished.
As she rose into the skies, the ingredients of her station reappeared one by one, orbiting her in a slow, deliberate dance.
As she began, the Lord of Alchemy stood motionless, his eyes fixed on her.
Even in his words, his intent was exactly as Ash knew it to be—he had no intention of working alongside her.
He only wanted Luna to reveal her methods, so he could sharpen his own craft and eventually surpass her.
But how foolish could such a plan be?
Luna’s voice rang out again, steady and commanding.
“Alchemy isn’t about forcing matter to obey with tools and fire. It’s about understanding the principles that shape reality… and guiding them into something new.”
“Today, I’ll show you the pinnacle of refinement, combination, and elevation. Watch closely as you witness the true essence of Alchemy.”
The ingredients began to shift—swirling, merging, and condensing without any external catalyst.
The Lord of Alchemy’s eyes narrowed sharply, but he still didn’t move, watching intently.
Luna, at that moment, fell silent and concentrated entirely on her work.
She delved deeper into her mastery of Alchemy, relying solely on her identity as a Unus and her pure knowledge—without drawing on her innate powers, the codex, or anything else.
She drew essence straight from Reality itself, not from concepts or laws, as Ash’s inner verse lacked those and offered her no access to them now.
However, her form of Alchemy was adaptable… because it was made purely using essence. And currently she was pulling the rawest and most primal ideas directly from the fabrics of existence.
In mere moments the first pill formed as she used the idea of Growth.
Unlike before, there was no magnificent display of lights or anything…. The pill however was beyond pure… it was a translucent pill with a golden hue.
The only thing on it was a sigil that none could read aside from the only two Gods here.
“All-Blooming – Absolute Purity”
Luna’s motion never ceased even as all of the council, the Lord of Alchemy, and each and every viewer couldn’t take their eyes off what they were seeing.
Her hands continued to move pulling at seemingly nothing. Each time she pulled a herb or two would disappear.
Then after about ten minutes, the second pill took form with the essence of Termination.
It became a dark, almost void-like pill that radiated finality. She made this only because she thought it would be neat to create another pill like the one that ended the cycle.
Yet, this one was much deadlier….
If allowed to dissolve…. anything it touched would cease.
And on the pill, the sigil on this one read “Absolute EOT – Absolute Purity”
Her final creation, however, was unlike anything before.
It took her more than three hours to complete. Luna infused it with the essence of Life, Abundance, Souls, and beyond — a flawless blend of creation and vitality.
HUMMMMMMM!!!!!!
Endless amounts of divinity began to flood from the pill as it didn’t just take shape….
It became alive…. quite literally.
The translucent pill pulsed once…. then twice before it burst into pure golden radiance.
From within the light stepped a beautiful woman — tall, graceful, with flowing hair that shifted between every color of creation.
As those around her gazed on, every scholar, alchemist, and elder felt a shiver run through their hearts.
Before them was not some crafted pill, but a true, living being.
And though none of them realized that Luna had just accomplished something extraordinary—she had created a Unus purely through Alchemy—and this was only a small glimpse of what her skills could achieve.
The woman before her sank to her knees, her voice gentle yet resonant as she spoke,
“I am yours… Creator.”
A heavy silence blanketed the entire domain, not a whisper to be heard.
Even the Lord of Alchemy could only stare in stunned disbelief.
Lowering her hands with steady breath, Luna’s golden eyes shimmered with quiet triumph.
