Simon finally understood what Instructor Amahi was talking about and why she transferred a thousand hell stones into his account.
It was her way of appreciating him for keeping his method of healing himself a secret from the entire class.
If he wanted to, he could have explained to the class how they could also heal their bodies in the simulation, and the only negative of doing that would be the disappointment and displeasure of Instructor Amahi.
However, he gained no benefit from telling the class, so he decided not to.
And it seemed he made the right choice.
“She might just be my favourite teacher.”
Simon chuckled softly, then he also walked out of the classroom.
However, the moment he stepped out of the classroom, he saw a familiar figure and mask standing not too far away from the entrance of the class with her arms folded.
Simon paused and frowned deeply. Then he released a deep sigh of frustration and annoyance.
“What do you want, Sunless? If it’s food, please don’t stress me and let’s just go to the cafeteria and get what you want.”
“I have things.”
Sunless approached him with her arms still folded, then she pouted behind her mask.
“What do you take me for?”
“A foodie.” Simon answered immediately.
Sunless’ lips twitched when she saw how quick Simon was in calling her a foodie.
She knew that she couldn’t exactly defend herself, so she decided to change conversation.
“Why did you take so long in there? Do you and Instructor Amahi have a thing going on?”
Simon’s lips twitched repeatedly, and he had the urge to flush Sunless’ down a toilet… if it was possible.
“None of your business, Sunless. Why are you here? Why are you wasting my time? Why are you ruining my peace?”
Sunless took a step back and placed her hand on her chest in ’shock’.
“I’m deeply shocked and shaken. I can’t believe that you would say all those things when I’m literally the only friend you have and the only person that’s willing to talk to you on a friendly note.”
Simon raised a brow. “That pinch sure was friendly.”
Sunless nodded seriously. “Of course it was. I could have decided to kill you for tricking me like that. I could have lost my life, you know?”
Simon rolled his eyes, then he walked past her with a scoff.
She followed him and walked by his side with her arms behind her.
“Where are you going? We’re not done talking.”
“If you have nothing important to say, then leave me alone.” Simon indifferently replied.
Sunless’ shook her head and released a frustrated sigh.
Simon raised a brow when he heard her sigh, but he didn’t say anything.
“You really a dumb dumb. You know that, right?”
Simon gave her a strange look. “What?”
Sunless facepalmed her mask and released another frustrated sigh.
“Alright. I was waiting for you so that we could walk to the dorm together and-”
“Not interested.” Simon cut her off without hesitation, and a vein appeared on Sunless’ temple behind her mask.
“You didn’t even let me finish.”
“That’s because I’m not interested… like I said.” Simon said with an indifferent tone as he turned to a corner and walked on one of the mini causeways in the academy.
Sunless remained silent for a moment, then she slowly came to a stop.
Simon frowned when he saw this, then he stopped and looked at her.
He didn’t say anything, and he just kept on looking at her with a light frown.
“You seriously don’t like me, do you?” She said while looking down.
Simon shook his head. “I’m indifferent about you.”
Sunless looked at him, then she tilted her head slightly.
“So, you’re not even sexually attracted to me at all? Not even one bit? Cause I’m sure many guys would have attempted to make a move on me with the many opportunities I’ve given.”
Simon tilted his head, and if he was not wearing a mask, Sunless would have seen him having the weirdest look he ever had in this life.
It was bordering on disgust and disdain.
’Sexually attracted to you? For fuck’s sake, you’re just a kid in my eyes. Why would I be sexually attracted to a sixteen year old kid like you.’
Just as Simon had this thought, he suddenly realized something.
’Wait… Hold on… This can’t be.’
He suddenly realized that the disgust he should be feeling at the thought of a sixteen year old asking if he had sexual thoughts about her was absent.
What was going on?
He was over sixty years old mentally, so why wasn’t he feeling the extreme disgust he was supposed to feel?
He frowned deeply and looked down.
’Is it because this is the body of a sixteen year old, so it doesn’t actually sees it as something disgusting? Or is it because I’m a demon and age is but a number to demons?’
’I have encountered demons who raped girls younger than fourteen on earth. They had no remorse over it and didn’t see anything wrong with it.’
’Maybe it’s both.’
He paused his thoughts, then he looked at Sunless.
’Well, even if it’s both, I’m not interested in her and I have no interest in young girls. I don’t have to feel that disgust, having that lack of interest is all I need.’
He took one last glance at Sunless, then he turned and walked away.
He had nothing else to say to her.
Since she had nothing important to discuss with him, he would rather not waste his time on her.
He was a busy man.
He had other things to do.

’Sex huh… Now that I think about it, I don’t think I’ve ever thought about it before.’ Simon shook his head slightly as he had this thought.
Meanwhile, Sunless had a stunned expression when she saw Simon walk away without answering her question.
“Fucking bastard.” She cursed him, then she turned and took another direction.
