The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System - Chapter 518 - Broken twin jewels

Chapter 518 – Broken twin jewels
The smile on Qingyi’s face immediately disappeared as he felt Meilin’s hand reach for his, grasping it tightly.
Jin Hao, standing beside the couple, was also overcome by a deep frown.
Turning his face, he saw his son throw open the double doors with a bang, revealing eyes overflowing with rage.
“Father, this bastard killed one of my subordinates!” the third young master roared, pointing his finger at Qingyi. “I demand justice!”
The Gold King was about to explode, but, exchanging glances with his son-in-law, he managed to control his own fury.
That damn brat was over a hundred years old, and yet he still acted like a fucking child. Did he still think he was a teenager?
Of course, a hundred years was a negligible amount of time for most great experts. It wasn’t even uncommon for many to meditate for decades or centuries on end as they prepared for a breakthrough.
Still, humans were humans. A hundred-year-old man shouldn’t be acting like a ten-year-old.
Jin Hao closed his eyes, inhaling heavily before releasing all the air from his lungs.
“Son-in-law, is this true?” he asked, turning to Qingyi, who simply nodded.
“Yes, a certain Young Master Zhao. He tried to steal my sword, so I killed him.”
“Hm…” The Gold King scratched his chin thoughtfully. “If a servant of my son tried to rob you, it’s only fair that my son compensates you for it. Tell me, son-in-law, what do you want?”
The third young master shuddered upon hearing those words. Would
his father really side with someone he had just met?
“I am your son…” The third young master growled, probing Qingyi and sensing the Qi he exuded.
Qingyi was carefully controlling his aura, so what the third young master sensed was nothing more than an early-stage Immortal Emperor.
He himself was an intermediate Immortal Emperor and considerably powerful, despite not inheriting his father’s bloodline. How could he feel afraid?
If his father didn’t intend to resolve the issue, he would do it himself.
“Do you really believe this bastard more than me?” the third young master asked, his hand sliding to the hilt of his sword.
“Then do what you always do: let your children solve their own problems. Allow me to duel him to wash this shame from my name. Zhao was my friend, and I will not forget him!”
The Gold King opened his lips, ready to deny his son’s request, when he saw his daughter, Jin Meilin, step forward as she let go of Qingyi’s hand.
“What do you want, brat? Haven’t you brought enough shame to our-“
The third young master swallowed his own words.
His eyes widened as Meilin disappeared from his sight, the cry of a phoenix echoing through the hall.
That speed… such power… Had Meilin reached the realm of the Immortal Emperor?
How could she be so strong when she didn’t even have talent for cultivation?
When the third master finally reacted, Meilin was already in front of him. Her body spun as her right leg rose at a terrifying speed.
Her cultivation was not a direct threat, but her bloodline, suppressing him from all sides, immediately took away any power of reaction he still possessed.
A golden phoenix flew above them all, its wings stretching for hundreds of meters, enveloping everything like a golden veil. “Bloodline projection… Is this… stronger than Father’s?” the third young master whispered, a second before Meilin’s kick hit its target. The blow landed exactly between his twin jewels. A golden energy engulfed the place, damaging meridians and destroying flesh and bone.
A heart-wrenching scream echoed, muffled by the speed with which the third young master’s body was hurled toward the heavens.
All the power of an Immortal Empress had been converted into a single kick, which completely decapitated his lower head and sent him flying into the air.
Both Qingyi and Jin Hao froze, exchanging perplexed glances.
They barely paid attention as the figure of the third young master reached the height of the clouds, his body overcome with absolute agony and despair.
He could clearly feel that everything down below was destroyed. The meridians, the flesh… everything.
Would even his father’s personal physician be able to repair such damage?
The poor guy didn’t even know that his father was barely thinking about him at that moment; Jin Hao’s eyes were focused solely on Jin
Meilin.
As long as the third young master was alive and breathing, the Gold King truly didn’t care about the rest.
“Daughter… your cultivation…” the Gold King whispered.
He had been so focused on Qingyi that he hadn’t even noticed how
much his own daughter had changed. He looked at his son-in-law,
overflowing with shock.
“How?” he asked.
How could Meilin have advanced so much in such a short time? That
shouldn’t be possible!
He had seen imperial experiments that attempted to leverage the level of cultivators as quickly as possible.
Even when such rapid advances occurred, they always caused terrible damage to the body and created such an unstable foundation that it usually collapsed within a few days.
Yet here was Meilin, powerful enough to defeat one of the three young masters, who were the most talented martial artists among his sons.
The Gold King approached his daughter with quick steps. “Father, I…” Meilin raised her head, prepared to be reprimanded. But to her surprise, her father only grabbed her wrist to probe her.
Yes, her cultivation was much stronger, but it wasn’t just that; her own innate talent had improved dramatically.
Jin Hao looked at Qingyi again. Frightening talent, unmatched power, and an evolution that simply wouldn’t stop. Qingyi was behind this,
wasn’t he?
A hint of greed flashed in the Gold King’s heart, but he suppressed it
immediately.
At this very moment, he was not a money-mad merchant. He was a father about to marry his beloved daughter to a son-in-law whom, fortunately, he respected.
“You did well, dear. I’ll take care of your brother. You can relax with
Qingyi and show him the city; my accountant will prepare the budget for your wedding.”
The Gold King sighed, releasing his daughter’s wrist and heading toward the skies, following the third young master.
