Chapter 524 – Linyue is very good at hiding things!
“Hm… why not gold? It’s your father’s symbol, right?” Feiyan asked, approaching Meilin from behind and pressing a long, elegant gold dress against her body.
On the beauty’s bed, Khaedryss lay, uninterested in Meilin’s clothing decisions, sleeping peacefully.
Unfortunately for her, that peace lasted only until Meilin discarded the garment, tossing it toward the pile of clothes surrounding the sleeping dragon.
The fabric hit Khaedryss’s face, eliciting an angry grunt from the beauty. She sat up, pulling the pieces off herself.
Her lips parted to complain, but soon closed again, her eyes focusing on nothing.
Despite its high level of urbanization, the imperial capital was not made entirely of buildings and concrete. Quite the contrary.
Beyond the highly urbanized areas, there were many parks and woods, conservation areas maintained by the imperial family itself.
That mansion was one of Meilin’s many in the capital, located right in the heart of one of these woods, about ten kilometers from any urbanized area.
Usually quiet and inhabited only by small wildlife, the woods were bustling with activity at this very moment.
More than three hundred shadowy figures walked through the forest, surrounding the mansion.
“Divide into three groups. We will go ahead, the other two can enter from behind,” a voice echoed, firm and powerful.
He was the strongest expert among those men, just one step away from becoming an Ancestral Emperor.
“The lady is angry, so failure will be rewarded with death. Do not fail.”
His voice echoed one last time before falling silent, his footsteps quickening.
He arrived in front of the huge double gates that led to the mansion’s courtyard. As he approached, a figure appeared, floating a few dozen meters above the property.
It was a woman of transcendental beauty, whose beautiful blue eyes were filled with deep fury, while her blood-red lips parted.
“You dared to hurt my baby… She growled, extending her right hand. The Qi in her body exploded, flowing torrentially toward her fist.
“I’ll make you regret being born!” The woman retracted her arm, but barely had time to throw the punch.
The mansion was suddenly hidden from her view, her eyes filled with nothing but endless rows of sharp teeth.
The specialist leading the soldiers below could barely process what was happening, his hand extended over the gate freezing in midair. “Die, scum…”
A voice echoed, sweet and serene, like a cold morning breeze.
Soon after, dozens of small cuts appeared on the specialist’s body. He turned just in time to see the same thing happening to his men, their bodies being transformed into small bloody cubes.
Among them was only a silver-haired beauty, already sheathing her twin swords.
“Ah!”
A grunt escaped the leader’s throat before his own body collapsed into cubes of bloody, perfectly cut flesh, not even his soul escaping. At the back of the mansion, the other two hundred specialists fared little better. They barely took a single step before they froze,
thousands of tiny needles breaking through the air and striking their bodies.
They couldn’t even retreat before the poison carried by the needles began to take effect, their eyes rolling back and their bodies reduced to nothing but putrid slime.
“Hm… I think I overdosed…”
A poisonous beauty appeared above the wall, her beautiful green eyes filled with disgust as she looked at the remains on the ground.
“Damn it, you didn’t even leave anything for me!” Another beauty appeared, roaring with rage.
She had flaming red hair and was already ready to break some bones and knock out teeth, her fiery Qi radiating from her voluptuous body.
She watched Qingxue and Biyue return to the mansion courtyard, both looking bored.
“You didn’t miss much, Sister Rongyan, they were quite the weaklings, “Qingxue said, brushing a strand of white hair away from her piercing
blue eyes.
“Ugh… you just killed them too quickly! You need to break some bones and make them scream first!” Rongyan crossed her arms, still
annoyed.
Quickly, all of Qingyi’s other wives left the mansion, confused and
curious.
“What happened?” Meilin was the most puzzled among them, her eyes rising to Khaedryss, landing in the courtyard.
“Ugh… this thing here is rotten!” Khaedryss growled irritably.
She spat the woman who was in her mouth onto the ground, before assuming her human form, a long, elegant dress immediately covering her nakedness.
At her feet, a figure covered in saliva fell. Her makeup was smudged and her long golden hair was singed, leaving her almost bald.
“Rotten…” The woman repeated, raising her hate-filled eyes to Khaedryss. “Do you know who I am? Filthy beast! I am—”
Before the woman could even finish her words, Khaedryss’s beautiful, delicate feet were already over her mouth, silencing her and crushing
a few teeth in her jaw.
“Rotten and noisy.” Khaedryss raised her fist, ready to finish her off.
“Wait! That’s the third young master’s mother…” Meilin whispered beside Khaedryss.
“Hm…” Khaedryss thought for a moment. “Should I kill her more
slowly, then?”
“No, you… uh…” Meilin’s eyes went to the floor. In the end, she just
nodded.
“Just be quick, we have to clean up this mess before husband returns,”
Ruxue said, handing the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword to
Khaedryss.
The draconic beauty looked at the sword in her hands with
strangeness before grunting.
“Humans and their useless tools.”
Without even drawing the blade from its sheath, Khaedryss swung it.
“W-wait, n-no!”
The third young master’s mother’s words were interrupted by a crash
and a shrill scream.
“Wait, Khaedryss, let me have some fun too!” Rongyan exclaimed as Khaedryss beat that woman to death, using the legendary sword as a club and ignoring Ruxue’s panic.
“Hey, take the sword out of its sheath! You’ll stain it!”
“Can I get rid of the body? Nyan? Linyue is very good at hiding
things!”
“I think it’s better for Khaedryss to devour her,” Qianyao said, restraining Linyue’s excitement and closing her golden eyes. Even though she herself was a dragon, she preferred not to see the brutality that her race often displayed.
“Me? I’m not putting that disgusting thing in my mouth again!”
