The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System - Chapter 556 - The beginning of the end.

Chapter 556 – The beginning of the end.
The creation of an avatar or homunculus was not something unknown to the great experts of the celestial heaven, even if it was something rare below that.
There were two main ways to create something like this.
The first was the method used by the patriarch of the dragon people, using a piece of his own soul and Qi to create a body and imbuing it. with a fragment of his consciousness.
It was widely known among orthodox cultivators, and although it caused temporary weakness in its user, it was still the most accepted technique.
The second, on the other hand, was basically a crime worthy of capital punishment in the eyes of any orthodox cultivator: the use of sacrifices to create a perfect body.
Qingyi had already seen this method twice.
First, in the mortal realm, when demonic cultists attempted to use sacrifices and a fragment of Ruxue to summon an avatar of the heavenly demon to earth.
The second was on his mission with the heroes, where he fought against an avatar created by the same method. An imperfect body, in the words of the celestial demon himself.
After all, it had been molded with the sacrifices of commoners and low-ranking experts.
It would be impossible to create a perfect body with just that, especially one capable of sustaining a soul as powerful as that of the celestial demon.
But what Qingyi was seeing there was completely different.
More than two thousand demonic seeds, practically immortal, which had already absorbed the Qi and mana of tens of thousands of experts
and millions of civilians.
In addition to them, there was at least one other seed of power similar to Nianxue’s, which was already one of the most terrifying existences in the entire immortal heavens, second only to Qingyi himself in power.
Just imagining the body that would be created by the combination of so many powers was frightening.
“Ruxue… is there any way to stop this?” Qingyi asked, watching three figures appear in the skies.
The Rose Emperor, the Enlightened Emperor, and the Enlightened Empress.
They did not notice Qingyi’s presence, their eyes focused on the tear in the sky.
[Now that it has begun… no… Just wait and prepare for the arrival of that son of a bitch’s soul.]
The moment Ruxue’s voice fell, a change occurred.
The elf king, who was in the center of the battle killing thousands of imperial soldiers with every blow, stopped, pushing a demonic spawn away from himself and watching as all the demonic seeds froze. Their eyes went blank and their bodies began to shake violently.
The same thing happened in the enlightened imperial capital, thousands of kilometers away, as a blood portal connecting it to the divine realm of Auranys opened in the sky.
Suddenly, the battles for the enlightened imperial capital ceased, all of them.
The demons, who had been killing nonstop, opened their mouths in screams of agony and pain, their eyes wide as their bodies seemed to dissolve into bloody slime.
Like typhoons, this blood filled with Qi rose into the air, passing
through the portal and surging over the sacred capital, joining the mana-filled blood of the demons that were there.
Everyone watched in shock as the blood gathered above the center of the city, exuding a Qi and mana so frightening that even the most powerful experts still alive felt their blood run cold.
It was as if they were facing death itself.
“Retreat!” The elven king roared to his troops, but it was already too late.
An explosion echoed and the blood staining the ground beneath his feet moved, grabbing his ankles and holding him in place.
In desperation, he attacked the ground, seeking to break free as
quickly as possible, but nothing worked.
His blows did little more than raise dust and kill his own allies, his armor quickly beginning to corrode.
The king looked up, his eyes meeting Lucios’s from afar.
He barely had time to extend a single hand before falling to the ground, his body turning into bloody slime and being carried up into the skies, joining the orb of blood floating a few hundred meters
above the ground.
The entire population, both of the enlightened imperial capital and of the Arca, capital of the sacred kingdom of Auranys, met the same fate.
Together, more than thirty-five million people were killed.
Such a level of destruction and loss was something the immortal heavens had only seen before when Khaedryss set fire to the Rose
empire.
Lucios, miles away, could only be glad he had sent his most important
soldiers back.
What would have happened if he had joined that crazy attack?
He didn’t even want to know.
His eyes rose to the three monarchs, not far from the blood orb.
He was the only powerful expert left alive, and naturally, he should be
the focus of those damned bastards’ attention.
But strangely, they barely acknowledged his existence, their eyes
focused on only one figure.
The only one who was close to the holy city and had not been
consumed.
A young man with long hair and black horns, sharp eyes and a powerful body, covered in elegant robes.
“Qingyi…” Lucios spoke, just in time to hear a roar full of rage.
“You damn bastard! What gives you the courage to show your face here?” Emperor Rose roared, his eyes flashing with rage beneath his mask, meeting Qingyi’s cold, calm gaze.
“Wait, you idiot!” The Enlightened Empress roared, trying to hold him
back, but it was too late.
“Die!” He lunged forward, ignoring the pleas of his companions and exploding with power toward Qingyi.
He gripped his sword tightly, a crazed smile taking over his face as he slashed toward the young man.
Qingyi barely reacted, raising a single finger in the path of the blade.
“Is that all you’ve got?” he asked.
A metallic clang echoed immediately after, the steel shattering like
glass and falling to the ground.
The Rose Emperor shuddered, feeling the weight of the sword
disappear from his hand, the blade barely leaving a mark on Qingyi’s finger before breaking.
His shock was so great that he didn’t even notice as his hand was torn off, from his fingers to his shoulder.
“Fuck!” The Enlightened Emperor lunged forward, grabbing the Rose
Emperor by the collar and pulling him back quickly, trying to get as far away from Qingyi as possible.
