The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System - Chapter 572 The God of War

Chapter 572 The God of War
There were different types of secret realms and spatial pockets.
Some, like the one Qingyi saw in the golden dragon statue in the land of the dragon people, were basically just a distortion of the interior space, making it larger than it should be.
Like entering a room that, from the outside, appeared to be twenty square meters, but inside, was over a hundred.
Others were like the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword, existing on entirely different planes and whose only entrance was often linked to an artifact.
But there was also a third type: separate spatial pockets, often connected to a specific region.
They could be interpreted as a line that ran side by side with the central space, still under the primordial laws and connected to the central one, albeit inaccessible.
From everything Qingyi had heard in conversations about Auranys with Celestial, he was sure that her divine realm, the spatial pocket where she hid, was of the third type.
Qingyi didn’t know much about these before, but now, with his spatial control in full swing, he already understood completely how to locate pockets of this type.
Of course, it was still something that took time and, above all,
required an understanding of the general position where the spatial pocket was located.
The first place he tried to search was, naturally, the former capital of the divine kingdom of Auranys.
Well, the place where it used to be, to be more specific.
There was nothing left, after all.
Almost the entire leadership of the Divine Church of Auranys had been decimated, and the remaining high-level bishops and priests were still struggling to reorganize the church’s forces and begin rebuilding the divine kingdom.
“It’s not here…” Qingyi muttered as he arrived at the place where he had fought his battle against the avatar of the heavenly demon.
“But where could it be?” he wondered, scratching his chin.
It wasn’t in the capital of the Rose Empire, nor was it where the capital of the divine kingdom of Auranys had stood.
He could, of course, simply teleport nonstop and use his senses to scan the surrounding space.
But that would be extremely inefficient.
Even scanning hundreds of kilometers with each teleportation, the Immortal Heaven was too large.
“What if…” A location popped into Qingyi’s mind.
There was a large peak on the western continent, in a mountain range that divided the Grand Duchy of Vaeldrinn, the kingdom of the elves, and the divine kingdom of Auranys.
It was the highest peak in the entire Immortal Heaven, a place surrounded by powerful beasts and known to many on the western continent as the closest point to the goddess.
With a smooth movement, the beautiful young man disappeared, and when he reappeared, he was on a high snowy peak, above silvery clouds.
His eyes rose to the sun, high and imposing.
Closing his eyes, Qingyi spread his Qi, feeling the space around him tremble.
There was, indeed, an anomaly there. Like a small, imperceptible tear in space.
Focusing his spatial Qi, he found the place where the tear led to, and
then smiled.
His body was immediately swallowed by a spatial fold, and when he reappeared, he was in a completely different place.
“This… isn’t the Immortal Heaven…” Qingyi whispered to himself, looking around.
Golden clouds, flying islands, and a deep blue sky.
But none of that caught his attention more than the feeling that surrounded him.
The primordial laws simply did not exist there.
They weren’t subtle or weak, they were completely non-existent.
There was both Qi and Mana, in vast and identical amounts, but not even a trace of the primordial laws.
Scratching his chin in perplexity, Qingyi walked to the edge of the small flying island where he had appeared, looking down.
To his surprise, what he saw was not land, but more golden clouds, stretching out in a beautiful, endless carpet.
There were many gaps between them, and through these gaps, Qingyi could see something that shocked him even more.
It was the Immortal Heaven, seen from above, as if he were in space.
But this was a spatial pocket completely separate from the central space… How could such a view be possible?
Activating his Dragon Eyes, he confirmed that it was not an illusion.
What he saw was, in fact, the Immortal Heaven.
“There’s no need to spend so much time thinking about it…” Qingyi sharpened his senses, spreading them throughout the divine realm of
Auranys.
He could feel hundreds of powerful auras gathering at its center, with
blood and war dominating everything.
Apparently, a fierce battle was taking place.
With a sigh, he firmly grasped the Heaven-Defying Thunder Sword
and disappeared again.

At the center of the Auranys divine realm stood a huge city. Stretching hundreds of kilometers, it had enough houses for tens of
millions of people.
Once upon a time, that city had been prosperous, more prosperous than anything the Immortal Heaven could ever dream of creating.
But not anymore.
There were no citizens, no guards.
The walls and houses were perfectly preserved, without a single speck of dust, but also without any sign of life.
The palace at its center was the only exception, guarded by a
hundred winged warriors, all at the peak of the twelfth ring.
Beneath their silver helmets, their eyes were cold and fixed on a figure approaching on the horizon.
The figure was tall, with flaming hair like a lion’s mane and a cruel,
savage gaze.
Following him, five hundred warriors advanced, equipped with blood-red armor, with a power level similar to that of the winged
warriors.
“Ah… To make even me, the god of war and destruction, suffer so
much… The man with flaming hair exhaled heavily, wiping a cut on
his cheek.
He looked at the city around him, the well-kept streets, the pristine statues of various gods of the past.
There was even a statue of himself, albeit one without a head.
“I have to congratulate you, all of you.” The God of War smiled. “Now surrender and hand over my wife. Your strength will be put to good use protecting the children we will bear, hahaha.”
The God of War’s laughter was met with nothing but silence.
None of the winged warriors moved.
