The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System - Chapter 576 - Auranys

Chapter 576 – Auranys
The great creator, the one above all else, existed in eternal darkness.
A darkness so intense that even he did not recognize his own existence.
But then, when the first ray of light came, he realized.
He was alive. He existed.
It was from him that everything came into being. Every star, every planet, every cloud, and every river. Everything was forged by the hands of the great creator. But the first of his creations was not a star, nor a planet. It was a child, with two eyes, two arms, and two legs.
This child saw, with his own eyes, the death of the great creator and received, in his chest, a fragment of the primordial seed of creation.
With this seed, the child grew up, and when he grew up, he decided it was time to create life.
In a luxurious hall, there were ten children, all looking curiously at the man who had created them.
He had kind brown eyes and a gentle smile.
His eyes fell on a little girl with golden hair and eyes of the same color, with silver wings sprouting from her back.
“You, my little one, are the light that drives away darkness. May your wings of justice erase the sin from mortal souls, and may your sword of mercy deliver forgiveness to the penitent.”
The girl closed her eyes, accepting the man’s words.
Smiling, he moved on to the next child.
“You are the light of wisdom, the one who will guide the…”
One by one, the man stopped in front of each child, imbuing them with the meaning of their existence.
Those children were the deities who would guide humanity to the light, gods and goddesses created by his own hand, the heavenly father.
When he stopped in front of the last child, he crouched down, touching his flaming hair.
It was a boy, the only one among the ten children who looked at him. with defiance and pride, not admiration or humility.
“You, my child,” the heavenly father smiled. “You will be war, destruction, the most respected slayer of my enemies. At your blade, heretics will meet their death. At your blade lies my pride, the pride of the heavenly father.”
The red-haired boy paused for a moment, watching as the heavenly father pulled out a huge axe and placed it on the ground.
The child’s fingers could not even close around the axe handle, but his face was full of happiness.
He looked at his brothers and sisters, more specifically at the golden-haired girl.
But she ignored him, keeping her gaze fixed ahead.
The boy, the god of war and destruction, did not care.
From that day on, he was the sharpest blade of his heavenly father, the one who always led the front line, an unmatched duelist who killed demons and saints alike.
He was war, destruction, and pride.
But beyond that, beyond all his glories, there was one defeat.
The woman he loved never even bothered to look him in the eye. He was loyal to his heavenly father.
He fought against the cursed golden-horned demon and watched with his own eyes as the golden demon’s spear tore through his heavenly father’s neck.
Even though he was the most powerful among his brothers, that woman rejected him, ignored him, and despised him.
He had never felt so ashamed in his life as he did that day, and he swore to everything he held dear that one day he would take her.
“Can I just die like this?” The god of war fought against fate, accessed and ascended the flames of his divine soul.
Even if he died, he had to kill that damned bastard. He had to do
something.
The god of war’s body filled with ecstasy as he felt his power explode.
He was close, so close…
Unfortunately, the world was not always as he wished it to be.
At the final moment, before he could gather enough strength to defend himself, a blade tore through the air and landed on his neck.
The god of war opened his eyes just in time to see Qingyi’s face full of
contempt.
His head flew off, and then, darkness.
His divine body, with his soul in flames, shattered into tiny golden
threads.
Qingyi ignored the corpse crumbling in front of him, sheathing the thunder sword that defied the heavens.
Honestly, he could just wait until the god of war finished his recovery
and wage an even more epic battle.
But Qingyi was tired.
He didn’t have time for a phase two of any stupid fight.
He still had cards up his sleeve, enough to make sure he could deal
with any enemy.
But… why take a chance?
With a soft grunt, Qingyi sat up, cracking his sore back and
circulating his Qi.
The god of war was not an easy opponent by any means.
If Qingyi hadn’t advanced to the peak of the astral body realm, he would most certainly have met a terrible end, even if he used the primordial chaos flames.
“Ah… he must have been a terrifying bastard in his prime.” Qingyi shook his head.
For the current god of war to be stronger than the nearly perfect
avatar of the celestial demon, the power of his prime must have been beyond that of the celestial demon, perhaps even beyond that of the deceased Corruption Dragon God himself.
“Unfortunately, his personality is trash.” Qingyi whispered, picking up the god of war’s axe and studying it for a brief moment before
discarding it.
His eyes lowered and he felt the ground beneath him shake.
The island was collapsing.
Qingyi’s eyes rose, focusing on the palace in the distance, the golden defensive barrier protecting it beginning to collapse.
“Shit!” He activated his draconic eyes, his body exploding into speed.
In the blink of an eye, he was already above the palace, watching the rubble collapse into the abyss alongside the flying island. Spreading his Qi senses, he finally sensed a faint aura among the
rubble.
Qingyi didn’t hesitate, immediately throwing himself toward the figure and taking her in his arms.
He didn’t even have time to observe her form as he closed his eyes
and focused on protecting her from the collapsing island.
