The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System - Chapter 601 - Angry hamster

Chapter 601 – Angry hamster
“You know a lot about the Cosmic Dawn Sect for a young master from a small regional family on a distant planet,” Qingyi murmured, taking a sip of liquor.
They were in the city center that stretched out from the main gate of the Celestial Fairy Pavilion, in an ordinary yet cozy tavern.
That place was very popular with the pavilion’s outer disciples, so no one found their presence there strange.
Aside from a few casual glances of respect, they were being completely ignored by the locals.
“Hm… my family is a merchant family, so obviously we have many connections. Sometimes, we even hire external disciples from the sect to carry out missions. We may not be strong, but we still have some money and plenty of access to information.” Chen Wei replied, his mouth full of a piece of pork rib.
“I see…” Qingyi nodded.
Merchants, everywhere, have always been well-connected and in the know.
It was to be expected that things wouldn’t be any different here.
“What do you know about the selection process to become the adopted son or daughter of the Palace Mistress?”
“Hm… not much. I only know that it’s going to happen in eight months and that the requirement to participate is to be at least in the
Celestial Ascension Realm. Plus, you need to have completed at least ten pavilion missions.”
“Hm… that’s not something easy to achieve in such a short time…” Qingyi scratched his chin.
Of course, reaching the Celestial Ascension Realm wasn’t exactly difficult for him, but completing the ten missions, when each one
could take months, was quite challenging.
Apparently, if he wanted to participate in this tournament, he would have to completely ignore Elder Shen’s advice.
“Time is short, but big brother Qingyi shouldn’t worry. The pavilion mistress made it clear that the tournament was for her to assess the talent of the young people at the Celestial Fairy Pavilion, and that winning isn’t a guarantee of being chosen.
She already seems to like you, so maybe she’ll choose you even if you can’t participate in the tournament.”
Hearing that, Qingyi fell silent.
Indeed, Rouxi didn’t seem like the kind of woman who would choose
her future beloved son or daughter based solely on talent.
With a soft sigh, he poured himself one last glass of liquor, drinking it quickly and setting it down on the table.
When he stood up, ready to pay, Chen Wei stopped him.
“I’ll pay, big bro, I’m the one who invited you to drink anyway! Hahahaha.” Chen Wei laughed, quickly stepping in front of Qingyi and paying the bill.
There was a hint of pain in his eyes as he watched part of his sect credits disappear, but he hid it well.
“I’m going to cultivate a bit now. I’ll be at the first class tomorrow.” Qingyi gave Chen Wei a gentle pat on the shoulder, and after the two said their goodbyes, he left.
At first, he was just flying toward the sect, but he soon changed his mind.
His eyes looked up, and then he flew upward, his body breaking the speed of sound several times.
He passed through a cloud, which parted under the pressure, revealing the blue sky above.
The higher he climbed, the colder it got, and slowly, the blue faded away, replaced by a dark expanse dotted with endless stars.
Qingyi stopped climbing shortly after reaching the vacuum of space, many hundreds of kilometers high.
There was no barrier, nothing holding him back.
If he wanted to, with his nearly limitless reserves of Qi and Mana and his spatial control, he could increase his speed without stopping and visit any planet or star he desired.
“The density of Qi is much lower here than on the planet’s surface,” Qingyi murmured, looking down and admiring the beautiful green world below him.
The Ascended Aurora Planet, unlike Earth, had few oceans; its temperature was regulated mainly by spiritual formations that covered the entire planet and essentially controlled the entire climate.
This was not an uncommon occurrence in the Celestial Heaven.
What mattered most for a planet was not its habitability for humans, but rather its spiritual vein.
Since the Ascended Aurora Planet possessed a high-level spiritual vein that led to a high density of Qi throughout the planet, it was shaped into a habitable world and, after hundreds of thousands of years of climate control, developed its own human and animal population.
With a soft sigh, Qingyi turned back toward the planet, breaking through the atmosphere and flying toward the sect at full speed.
Upon arriving, he went straight to his room.
It was more like an apartment than a room, with a barely functional kitchen, a bathroom, and even a small living room, with the bed in one
corner.
It was small and cramped, but strangely cozy.
Sitting cross-legged on the bed, Qingyi immediately entered the mind
world.
It was time to check in on his wives.
It was a quiet day in Ruxue’s mind world.
The girls were, as always, taking care of the many tasks at the temple.
Linyue was hunting alongside Khaedryss, while Biyue, Feiyan, Margareth, and Sapphire were conducting experiments with pills, potions, and poisons; meanwhile, Elize and her sister Seraphine were teaching Auranys how to cook.
For a goddess who had never touched a pot before, she was doing
quite well.
Qingyi walked silently through the temple, his eyes closing as he
passed through the many courtyards.
Most of his wives were cultivating to take advantage of the explosive increase in Qi density, leaving the courtyards largely empty.
Suddenly, Qingyi stopped.
His eyes fell on the back of a beauty with short, fiery red hair, her
back turned to him, her plump, shapely butt revealed by the tight
fabric of her dress.
It was Rongyan.
He admired her for a brief moment before approaching, his palm
splitting the air toward her butt.
Clap
“Nghnn~~ you!”
The impact echoed throughout the temple, the fiery beauty’s body shuddering as a pained moan escaped her lips.
“Aghnn~~ you womanizing scoundrel… finally remembered me?” Rongyan gasped, turning to face him and landing a punch on his
chest.
Well, she wasn’t the type to punch half-heartedly, so Qingyi ended up gasping for air for a moment.
“Ah… I never forget you… angry hamster.”
