The Corruption Dragon God: Lust System - Chapter 685 I don't need that sacrifice.

Shortly after dispatching the last opponent, Qingyi set off alongside Chen Wei, who hurried to take his beloved to one of the sect’s medical facilities, eager to ensure she received the necessary care.
It didn’t take long before the two young men found themselves alone again, walking side by side along the stone paths of the pavilion.
“You’ve improved far more than I thought. The Yan family’s techniques suit you perfectly,” Qingyi remarked with a gentle smile, his eyes shining with approval.
“It’s all thanks to Senior Brother! Come on, come to my house! I
promise that this time my father won’t have any trouble handing over my mother to you, especially if I show him what I’ve achieved thanks to you!”
Those words drew an honest laugh from Qingyi, who shook his head, amused by his friend’s insistence.
“I need to see her first. How much does she weigh, at least?” Qingyi asked, and this time, Chen Wei hesitated, his lips twisting in visible discomfort.
“Two hundred…”
“Two hundred what?”
“Well… I’d say about two hundred and fifty kilos…”
Hearing that, Qingyi shuddered, his step faltering for a brief moment.
No way.
How could she be that fat? She should have a cultivation level of at least the Astral Body Realm, and cultivators of that level only got fat if they allowed themselves to get fat.
“Well… she’s not exactly fat, she just really likes lifting weights, hahaha,” Chen Wei tried to explain, scratching the back of his neck
with a nervous laugh. “But her face is really delicate, I promise!” Qingyi sighed, placing both hands on his friend’s shoulders with an exaggeratedly serious expression.
“My brother, often, men of determination and courage must make painful sacrifices. I understand the sacrifice you wish to make in the name of your big brother, in the name of his gifts, but don’t worry. I don’t need that sacrifice.
Keep it for yourself, enjoy it alone, and make it count.”
With a mysterious expression, Qingyi continued walking, his hands clasped behind his back like an old master who had just spoken words of great wisdom to his disciple.
He didn’t care for women who were more muscular than delicate, but damn, two hundred and fifty kilos of pure muscle?
That was far beyond what he would simply embrace as a muscle mommy.
Besides, he wasn’t much into casual sex, and to sleep with a woman, he’d have to be willing to take her as a wife.
He didn’t want to become Chen Wei’s father’s sworn enemy for stealing his wife, even if she were a beauty worth his time.
In the end, Chen Wei just shook his head and followed Qingyi to a tavern outside the walls surrounding the Celestial Fairy Pavilion.
Together, they drank all night long, without even using their Qi to clear the effects of the alcohol, letting themselves get drunk.
Well, Chen Wei let himself get drunk.
Even after more than a hundred liters of the strongest liquor available at the tavern, Qingyi was only just beginning to feel a barely perceptible dizziness, his vision remaining sharp and crystal clear.
It was his powerful constitution at work; all the alcohol entering his body was easily processed and transformed into Qi, even without him using his internal energy to actively purge it.
“Ah… you must have a home to go back to, right?” Chen Wei asked with an alcoholic hiccup, taking another swig straight from the liquor bottle.
Qingyi thought for a moment, his fingers drumming against the aged wood of the table. “My home is always with me,” he replied with a serene smile, caressing the sky-defying thunder sword.
As long as he had that blade, he would always be a single thought away from returning home.
“But I believe that, considering what you mean by that, the answer would be no.”
“Ah…” Chen Wei sighed, his shoulders slumping at those words. “I have to wait a thousand years, a long and somewhat frightening time. Only after a thousand years will I be able to return home and become the patriarch of my family. My father won’t let me return a second sooner, and I miss home.”
Qingyi said nothing, just silently praying that Chen Wei wouldn’t start crying.
Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, he began to sing, his drunken voice echoing through the tavern as he staggered to his feet, moving in a crude and embarrassing dance.
Qingyi could barely make out his words, but he could tell it was some song about love and coming home, the kind of song drunks loved to
sing.
Qingyi thought about ignoring him, but considering their close
friendship, he stood up.
What was the point of having a best friend if that best friend didn’t
screw up his life every once in a while?
Qingyi pressed one of Chen Wei’s meridians and injected his Qi,
clearing the alcohol from his mind in a single instant.
Chen Wei froze, his body stiffening as he felt all the eyes in the tavern
fall upon him, giggles echoing among the courtesans and amused
looks taking over the faces of the other disciples.
He blushed violently, his face burning as he turned to Qingyi.
It would have been much better if he had just passed out, and the
next day, remembered nothing.
Why the hell did Qingyi have to wake him up?
“Y-you son of a bitch!”
In the end, having embarrassed himself in front of everyone, Chen Wei decided it was best to go check on his girl, leaving Qingyi alone with his own thoughts.
The handsome young man drank just two more shots and, shortly after, made his way with weary steps toward his quarters.
All night long, he meditated in silence, and early in the morning, he
headed out to the mission pavilion with a smile on his face, his eyes falling on the woman he’d received the mission from the Ma family. Seeing Qingyi approach, her eyes immediately lit up, and she stood up, rushing toward him before anyone else could claim him, even making sure he could see the pale skin of her ample cleavage, just to
please him.
“Senior Brother Qingyi! You’re back!” Her eyes scanned his clothes, noting that he had become an inner disciple. “Do you want a mission?
I can help you with that right now!” Qingyi merely nodded with a smile. “I want a combat-focused mission, against an enemy from the Celestial Origin Realm, for now!”
The woman hesitated, but realizing she couldn’t even sense Qingyi’s cultivation, she simply nodded silently, scrolling through dozens of missions until she found one that pleased the young man. Punish a captain who had fled with a sect shipment, and whose location was already marked, based on the tracker that had been placed on his body.
All he had to do was kill him, recover the cargo, and receive the reward of five hundred spirit crystals.
Seeing that mission, Qingyi smiled.
It was perfect, especially since it was quick and would make his life much easier, as he needed to prepare to make Rouxi his new mommy.
