The dragon's harem - Chapter 1289 - 1289: Hot Titans in The Area

Arad in Alina walked to the hills with several soldiers who were now ready to receive their first guests. Arad extended his hands, and a wave of black magic rushed forward like an ever-consuming mist. From that mist, Titans started showing up, towering over the tiny humans like walking mountains. The head of a crying baby Titan was over twenty meters wide, enough to humiliate most human buildings. And the sheer heat produced by those titans was far more than any human could handle. If not for Gamond flying over to cool the area, the whole hill might’ve burst into flames.
The average Titan was 100 meters tall, with a few outliers who towered even over their kind and stood over 200 meters tall and up to three hundred meters.
Arad was sucking the Titans into his stomach with one incarnation and spitting them out with another incarnation, effectively working as a living teleportation gate.
He could’ve sent them to the Storm Kingdom, where Titans might’ve been more comfortable, but that might’ve caused a few troubles with the Storm Titans. Tyal might’ve become their queen, but she is still exhausted and recovering. The people wouldn’t find it funny if Arad started pulling Volcanic Titans into their kingdom right after getting his throne.
Some might even think that he is working with the Volcanic Titans to invade them, which would cause a lot of friction for Tyal from the start. It was better to pull them here. People have gotten used to their Lord’s outlandish actions.
Arad looked at the Titans, who seemed confused. They were Looking at the green plants and the blue sky. They breathed the clean, soot-free air of the human land, and some almost sneezed. Both the relatively cold air and its cleanliness didn’t suit them that well.
The three hundred meters tall Titan looked at Arad with a puzzled face. “You, you are her?”
Arad was just over three meters tall in his humanoid form, nowhere near the 2.4 kilometers-tall figure of the beautiful red-head Titan paladin he showed them before.
Arad’s eyes flashed purple, and his body expanded as he shifted into his draconic form, towering over the Titans like a massive monster. As a dragon, he was over a kilometer long without his long tail and was over five hundred meters tall when standing on all fours.
“This is my land. I welcome you,” Arad said with an eerie smile on his massive draconic head as he looked at the Titans, prowling around them like a tiger around deers.
“As you can see, my people are a bit squishy, so be careful and camp here until we’ve solved your little problem.” It was clear that his words were both a threat and a warning. Arad allows them to stay in his land as guests, but by them being Volcanic Titans, their mere existence in his land is a natural disaster that is taking a lot to keep in check.
“We understand, and we thank you for your help. What you’ve done for us isn’t something that we can repay you for.” The Titan looked back, “Teleporting so many people here. It must’ve taken a huge toll on your mana pool, no matter how much you have. And you did it for us right before a huge battle.”
The Titan shifted a bit, “Are you sure it was a wise decision?”
“Mana?” Arad lifted an eyebrow and then coughed, “AH, yes, mana, don’t worry. I’ve got many barrels of mana potions to drink.”
Using his stomach like this didn’t consume any mana besides what little was needed to expand his void enough to cover a whole titan, which could be instantly regenerated. The Titans didn’t need to know that. It would’ve been horrifying to find out that he could just whisk them away without spending any mana.
Arad then shifted his focus back to Tempo, where the two of them left the now abandoned hold and started heading toward the hold where the guards were.
Arad’s incarnations were already spread thin, and he couldn’t be in every place at once, so he called on all of the Void Creatures that he collected on his way to the Volcanic Titan kingdom and sent them in every direction. But he had them all covered in fire magic to look more like Fire Creatures.
Based on what Tempo told Arad, the two of them decided to split the kingdom into four sections. The north, south, east and west. Arad and Tempo headed to the holds in the south where the guards were while Arad’s Void Creatures split into three groups led by Pain, Darkness, and Madness. Each of the three Void Generals took his soldiers and headed to conquer their region.
Darkness headed north, Pain took the east, and Madness was left to deal with the wild west as he rode on a massive mad bull.
Of course, Arad knew that if he had called those Void Creatures, Damnation would possibly run away as Raptur did. To combat that, he had all of his void creatures engulfed in fire.
Seeing this from afar, the soldiers holed up in their fort gasped, unable to believe their eyes. Their Prince had returned, and he had found a Titan woman with powers similar to their founder, Vulkan. If only they knew that Tempo himself was as surprised as they were.
“You can cover them in fire?” Tempo tilted his head.
“I can control matter at will, but to a certain mass limit. I don’t have that many Void Creatures, so masking them as fire monsters isn’t a problem.” Arad smiled, “It’s not a matter of if I can do it or not. It’s a matter of how long it would take me to figure out how to do something.”
The power to control matter and souls, both the physical and spiritual parts of existence. Arad was certain that with enough study and practice, it might not be impossible for him to create matter out of nothing and even create artificial souls. He might be able to create a new life out of nothing, which is the subject of his study with Sena.
She had also warned him that the subject is forbidden, a taboo that far surpasses anything else. Even the gods weren’t allowed to create life out of nothing, let alone mere mortals.
Arad argued about Gracie, the mother of all life, but Sena informed him that she creates life the same way a woman can get pregnant and create a new life. It was a function of her nature and not a thing she does on her own.
