The dragon's harem - Chapter 1377 - 1377: Rey&Ray VS Arad: Finally, Got A Plan.

Arad disappeared from above the dry ocean, and the ground around Rey and Ray burst into fire as he exploded between them.
The two dodged the explosion and wanted to attack back, but they couldn’t. They were too big and would hit each other if they tried to attack Arad, which was as small as a bug to them. While Arad couldn’t use magic, those two could, and thus, they got smaller with size magic to match Arad and make him easier to fight.
Arad now found himself fighting two invisible drakainas that could move far faster than he ever could, and his only option to move and attack was his void and nuclear engine, but that was fine.
If an onlooker could see the fight, through all of the nuclear fire, ash, and smoke, he could see an obsidian dragon shadowboxing the thin air and getting hit back by it.
Just as he was before, Arad couldn’t hold a candle to Rey and Ray’s power or speed. In each exchange, he always ended up being restrained and beaten up, at which he would explode into a world-ending nuclear blast and reform from the ashes to fight back using a simple trick. As long as he has enough blood stored inside his stomach, he can regenerate a body from it.
To Rey and Ray, Arad’s rampage and resistance look futile. Even with all of this destruction, he still doesn’t have enough concentrated firepower to deal a fatal wound to either of them. This fight can last as long as it needs. This world is big enough to endure and not get destroyed by them.
Eventually, Arad would run out of steam and fall. The twins knew that.
Arad reminded them of a phoenix, but instead of rising from his ashes, he rises for the radioactive nuclear ash of the world he’s burning to cinder. Beating him is useless, so they must grind him until he gives up.
Their plan was sane, but Arad wasn’t. Because in all of their wisdom, they failed to notice one thing. No, they only noticed one thing. Only one Arad was facing them.
Rey and Ray thought that while Arad could use multiple incarnations if he was to go all out, he could only control one- because he needs all of his mental power to control his void to its absolute limit. And they were right. Arad’s mind is split across all of his incarnations simultaneously, so he can’t go all out with one without dismissing the other four.
But that doesn’t mean he couldn’t go 97% in one and 3% in the remaining three. Arad never dismissed his incarnations. They were just hiding in his stomach. And what did he have those three do? He sent them to dig a hole, a large, gaping hole to the core of the planet starting from the bottom of the deep ocean he swallowed.
Since the incarnation couldn’t use magic, he needed all of them to work together and dig to burrow fast enough.
While the incarnation above the surface was causing as much mayhem as possible to mask what the other three were doing, Rey and Ray were oblivious to the ticking clock Arad had started. This world now only has a minute left to live.
Arad’s thoughts were simple but still complicated and with a lot of unanswered questions. If this world can endure the large fight between Arad and the twins, can its explosion harm the twins or kill them? If they survived the blast, can they survive in the vacuum of space? Probably not, but maybe they could?
Either way, Arad would try, and if they can’t survive in the vacuum of space, they’ll have to submit to him, or he won’t allow them into the safety of his stomach. They might just teleport away the way they came here, but Arad doesn’t want to think about that. It’ll be too boring if they just run away. Not it won’t be just boring; it’ll be shameful to run away from a mating fight. They won’t run.
At the start, he didn’t have a plan, but as he expected, he now had one. Even if he failed to take the two down, the fighting ring would at least change to an environment where he has the advantage. Diana had just been teaching him how to fight in the vacuum of space and take down an opponent that could kill him.
All those kicks to his back were worth it. Those two drakainas aren’t opponents that he could defeat, so stealth and sneak attacks are what he should be betting on. No, now he wishes she kicked him more, taught him more, and that they had spent more time learning how to fight from the darkness of the void.
Sadly, only ten seconds have passed by now, and keeping up with those is getting harder by the second. Fifty more seconds to go.
Arad had just been pinned down by Rey. He had to escape her claws. “Don’t dare explode again.” She growled. It was more than just annoying to have to deal with a continent-shattering explosion each time they caught him. And the death curse, it was getting out of hand.
Ray landed beside them, panting, “The whole planet is drowned in cursed ash. At this rate, it’ll be dangerous for even us to stay here for a long time. Just one of his explosions would’ve caused the mortal world’s end.” She then looked at Arad, “It’s over, you’ve lost, give up.”
Arad looked at them and smiled, “Only if you give up first.”
The two glared at him, and he chuckled, “Guess what then? EXPLOSION!” And he burst into a radiant flare, ripping thousands of kilometers apart as the twins flew out of the flames and ash.
The fight kept raging on, ripping the crust of the planet apart and blowing the atmosphere into the vacuum of space. After a while, Arad rolled on the ground, shifting back to his humanoid form as he sent all of his power to his incarnations so they could blow the planet.
Ray and Rey landed beside Arad and looked at him. “Finally out of steam.” Rey sighed.
“Or whatever you were using to cause those explosions. Water?” Ray looked at him.
Arad, who was sprawled on the ground, looked at them with a faint smile as he panted for air, then barely managed to get back on his feet. “One last chance for you two. No, that was a lie.” He chucked, “You’ll get many more chances afterward. But, unless you want to feel a lot of pain, I suggest you submit now.”
Ray and Rey looked at each other, “Knowing you.” Rey looked at him, “You probably still have something in mind. This is our win, but we don’t mind being the submissive ones.”
Ray nodded, “We serve Isdis, meaning we’re your servants as well. But, if things turn south, we’re the dominant ones. We won this battle.”
Arad sighed, “Don’t say I never warned you.”
