The dragon's harem - Chapter 1638: Gojo’s First Day in Alina

Chapter 1638: Gojo’s First Day in Alina
But as she expected, this place reeked with death. It was a strange feeling, not a smell. This cold, it wasn’t because of the snow, but the chills of an inevitable demise.
How did she end up here? Yeah, Yog pulled her in. No, that wasn’t what she was thinking about, that little goddess is almost polluting her mind. She was thinking about her past, the day she met Gojo for the first time.
Gojo had arrived in Alina alongside Gug and Vars long before Arad, and like his younger brother, Gojo too was a menace, causing trouble on his first day.
As he walked through the old tavern’s door, everyone froze and looked. He was beautiful, strangely so. Tall, well built with just enough muscles around his frame, his eyes sparkled like gems, and his white hair flowed with the faintest of breezes, like it was fake.
His face took all of the girls in the bar by surprise; they were all already used to brutes and handsome fighters like Alcott, so he was a good change of pace. But something else drew the men to look as well, it wasn’t Gojo, but the seven-foot-tall tanned barbarian woman wearing leather straps as a bikini.
Everyone knew that barbarians couldn’t be anything but trouble; they were already traumatized by Nina, so no one was going to approach Gug or look at her for a long time, but they couldn’t help looking at the start.
Vars also drew a lot of attention, mainly because the first thing that came out of his mouth was asking a female adventurer if he could sniff her feet, and getting smacked with a staff almost instantly.
An elf that loved feet and hands, it was common knowledge. In fact, there was even a way to tell a real elf from a fake one. Just see if they are willing to taste some toes. A fake one would never dare.
Liliana was sitting at the corner of the bar with a few women from her past, thieves and thugs who helped her through the years. Liliana herself was their leader, and they were all powerful. A high-level rogue, an expert poison mage, and a mighty fighter. They were all beautiful, but everyone in the bar knew them. The last man who approached them ended up having his meat publicly slashed off by the fighter.
The fighter smiled. “Hoo, look at that face and body. I bet he’s the son of some powerful noble, probably trained for years but never saw a real fight.”
The poison wizard frowned. “No, he’s strong. That’s a mage, I can tell.”
The fighter glared at her. “Wait, a mage with such a body? Look at his arms, there isn’t a single drop of fat in them, and they are as thick as mine.”
The rogue giggled. “A wizard who learned how to fight for themselves. No, he probably didn’t do it willingly. See that dumb barbarian, she’s acting nice and controlled around him. He probably had to develop some stamina to keep up with her in bed.”
Liliana sighed. “So, a noble, rich boy finally got out of his daddy’s manor and got a barbarian as a guard. But thanks to her looks, the two ended up sleeping with each other, and the poor-rich bastard had to grow a spine.” She smiled. “Would say she did her job well.”
The rogue stood. “I’ll go sniff some information.” She gave Liliana a smile and headed toward Gojo, which was a huge mistake.
As she approached, the ground trembled as Gug glared at her, stomping her foot down like an angry bull. Gug didn’t care if other women approached Gojo; in fact, that was a good sign to her. But, she could sense when someone had bad intentions, and she didn’t think the rogue was here for just a chat.
Gojo waved his hand. “Gug, calm down. We’re in the middle of a…”
“Tavern.”
Vars spoke in the back.
“This place is a bit better than I expected. But those women lack manners.” He glared at the woman who hit him for trying to sniff her feet. “Look at me, a powerful mage. Any elvish woman would’ve at least entertained me that much.”
From that short conversation, the rogue learned a few important things. First, Gojo and his crew were new in the city; Gojo didn’t know what a tavern was and lacked basic common sense. And that Gug listened to him, so their theory from before was probably right.
The rogue waved her hands. “Yeah, I’m not here to start a pissing contest with you. Gods know how much you barbarian love to prove your strength to others, but I don’t care about you.”
She then shifted to Gojo. “What I’m interested in is him.” She knew that barbarian women loved men who had many women around them, because it meant they were strong. Approved by another woman means he’s good, simple, and straightforward. Why think, pick, and choose when you can let other women do it for you, then steal their homework?
This would keep Gug from attacking for now, so she kept talking.
She looked at Gojo with a smile. “I know you’re new here, this is our turf. Care to have a little contest with me?” She pointed at the table nearby.
Gojo looked at Vars, and the poor elf sighed. “Probably local thugs want to prove their power. As she said, a pissing contest. To see who’s the boss around here, they do it to anyone new, if I’m guessing right.” He looked at her. “Though, I won’t mind licking her toes if she wants it.”
“Ho? I want to. Meet me later at my room upstairs. Number 11.” She shifted and wiggled her foot at him, causing Vars to blush. Sadly, would never get the chance.
Gojo was listening with a carefree smile, looking around the tavern with curious eyes. This was his first time around so many humans, he didn’t even know they spoke and acted like this.
“Of course, why not? But, you’ll have to take a bath before Vars comes.” He looked at the rogue, and she smiled, happy that he fell for it.
“Let’s start then.” She wanted to have an arm wrestle with him, see how strong he is, and get his fingerprints and magical print on her hand, so she can get a diviner later to tell her everything about him.
But what Gojo did next caught her by surprise, shocking everyone in the tavern. He moved fast, too fast for anyone to see. His hands came down, he unzipped his pants, and pulled his meat out. Before the rogue could even close her mouth, he was already pissing on her face.
“It’s not a literal…” Vars sighed in the back, but he was already too late. The fighter and poison mage were already upon Gojo, even the rogue herself had pulled a dagger, ready to slit Gojo’s meat and shove it down his throat.
That side of the tavern exploded as the fighter swung her sword and the mage cast a fireball. As the entire building shook, everyone in the tavern rushed out.
The fighter didn’t feel anything on her sword, and neither did the mage see anyone escape her flames. But in the next moment, Gojo appeared standing on the counter, still holding his meat out, and he splashed both the fighter and mage with a single stream. “You two want to join in? I really don’t understand humans. You’re all so weird, it’s intriguing.”
Liliana watched from the back, getting her traps ready.
The fighter and mage stood there and didn’t move; even the rogue held her anger in and waited. They had no choice, since Gojo was clearly far faster than they are. Trying to attack randomly could only get them killed. They needed to buy time for Liliana to set a massive trap.
Gojo finished pissing on them, and they took it whole. He then packed his meat back into his pants, letting out a satisfied sigh. “So, how did I do?” He looked at them with a smile.
The fighter giggled, wiping her face. “Nicely, how about you sit down so we can have our turn?”
Gojo thought about it for a second. “Hmm… Vars did say it wasn’t a literal pissing contest, so no.”
He jumped down from the counter and approached them. “And you attacked me. Do I take it as a sign or not?”
Vars waved his hand in the back. “Girls, you’d better apologize or back away. He takes sudden attacks from women as romantic, so you’ll end up moaning in bed if you keep going. Ask her.” He pointed at Gug, and she nodded.
Gojo laughed. “Hahah! Vars, don’t take me for such a barbaric one, I don’t care about violent brutes. I like the smart and calculated type.” He disappeared.
As the three gasped and looked around for him, they saw him standing behind the clueless Liliana, who was still forging a massive trap to catch him.
