The dragon's harem - Chapter 1664: Turning The Tides

Chapter 1664: Turning The Tides
The devil gasped, barely jumping back and evading Agnar’s second slash. He was both surprised and caught off guard. Fighting Yuwaku was taking all of his attention, and so he didn’t spot Agnar approaching.
The other two devils turned around, finally catching a whiff of Agnar’s magic.
“Another one showed, it’s the brat!” One of them roared, but before he could rush in and help, the succubus fell on his head from the sky and pinned him down.
“Bitch! What are you doing?” It took him a second to spot the slave collar on her neck. The veins on his forehead bulged as blood rushed into his head. “You were supposed to enslave him, not get yourself enslaved!”
He kicked her away, stood and growled. She must’ve broke something while falling at him.
The succubus rolled in the snow, then glared at him with her glowing pink eyes. He stumbled, feeling dizzy, hot, and stressed. His blood flowed hotter, and his attention started to drift away, getting distracted by unwanted thoughts.
“Seduction?” Powering through the mental magic with all of his power, he threw his hand forward, grabbing the collar with all of his strength to shatter it. But at that moment, a hole was punched in his palm, splashing his face with blood.
He jumped back, his hand forced to let go. The collar was made by Abel and infused with his curse, the power to put a hole in anything that lacks one. A weird curse, and it worked well on anything, even other devils.
Far away, Abel smiled at his desk. He could feel that Agnar had used one of his collars and that the collar was now around the neck of a pretty powerful succubus.
The devils had their eyes closed shut with magic so they won’t open them by mistake and get blinded by Yuwaku’s beauty, so they mostly relied on their magic sense.
At this moment, two devils were forced to stop fighting Yuwaku, one dealing with Agnar and the other held back by the succubus, allowing Yuwaku to rapidly start overwhelming the third one.
And she won’t waste her chance. Agnar might’ve defeated that succubus, but he won’t last long against a proper fighter. She won’t let him die to buy her time, so she’ll end this quickly.
She clenched her fist and swung at the devil’s face, sending him flying back through the heavy snowfall with a deafening shockwave. He hit several massive oak trees, bursting through them like they were made of plywood.
He lifted his head, almost as if glaring forward. He could feel it, a massive mass of dark magic rushing at him at blinding speed. All of that was on top of this dreadful and chilling feeling. Even when not trying to sense Yuwaku’s magic, he could feel something huge, immense, and devastating glaring back at him from the darkness.
Arad was watching from Limbo, his draconic aura and power, while unable to be manifested there, was leaking out of Yuwaku like a flood. She is his beauty after all.
Yuwaku wasn’t weak; she was monstrous. Before Agnar showed up, she alone was keeping up with those devils in a deadly brawl.
Much like her father, she boasted a mind-boggling strength, speed, and knack for smashing and beating things to a pulp. Getting trained a bit by Kali also helped.
She flew at him, moving so fast that time almost seemed stopped. She had to take this chance; Agnar had risked his life and had miraculously managed to break the devils’ advantage and give her a chance.
She must use it and put an end to this fight. This devil must die now, here and without delay. To achieve that, she had to double her effort and throw all of her power at this lone devil now, to beat him so badly that he won’t ever dare fight back.
She was upon the devil, her fist crashing down. He lifted one arm to block, but his bones cracked, bent, and shattered beneath the weight of her strike.
This was unlike anything he had ever heard about. Nymphs were supposed to be beautiful, graceful, gentle, and peaceful creatures. They are supposed to be born from the most beautiful and serene natural places… so why… why is this Nymph so violent and strong?
The devil had no idea that Yuwaku was born from the most violent two beings in the entire world, from a nuclear wyrmwolf dragon and a bloodthirsty spirit queen. In fact, if either Arad or Zephyr were here, those devils and whoever sent them would’ve died long ago.
As calm and collected as Arad can get, he isn’t known for being reasonable when his wives or children get hurt.
But the devil wasn’t going to just give up and die. Danger and fear weren’t a novelty to him.
“You won’t take me down!” He roared and lunged forward, clashing with Yuwaku across half of the forest. The shockwaves of their battle shattered the ground, ripping ancient oak trees from their roots and evaporating the thick layers of snow into mist.
“A mere Nymph like you would never surpass us! We’re the devils of the nine hells!”
He was doing well for being alone, but he couldn’t last any longer, so he was forced to think. He had to figure out a way to get even a little bit of advantage, and one thing was obvious.
“If the brat is here!” He shouted into the sky. “Then she can’t use her beauty! She’ll kill him alongside us!” He forced the magic on his eyes to tear open, and the other two devils did the same. They didn’t have the luxury of time to think about it.
If they could just open their eyes and see, the brat would die in the blink of an eye, and so would Nymph fall soon after. It was a good plan, that brat might’ve come to help, but he doomed the Nymph.
Or so they thought. When they all opened their eyes, their brains overloaded and burned away. Agnar wasn’t affected by Yuwaku’s beauty, so she didn’t need to worry about him getting blinded. For Ignis, she was hiding in the shelter with her head a foot deep into the snow, so she wouldn’t see anything.
The three devils were stunned, and the fight reached its end in the blink of an eye, literally. Even the poor succubus got caught off guard when Yuwaku unleashed her beauty. No one warned her, and why would they? She was their enemy, and for all Agnar cared, she could get crippled and it wouldn’t mean anything. Abel would just heal her later.
Agnar cleaved the head of the devil that was fighting him with a single, swift slash. The succubus ripped the one she was facing in half, forced by Agnar’s order to act through her burning mind, and Yuwaku passed through the third, ripping his soul out and turning him into a screaming black tree, wailing with the most gut-wrenching cry.
But Yuwaku didn’t stop with one, she had to finish the other two. So she flew right back to the shelter and ripped the soul of the devil that was facing Agnar, and then finished the one that had been defeated by the succubus.
Now, all that is left is to help Obelisk.
